Lori did my floral arrangements for both my shower & wedding. For both events they turned out beautiful. My wedding bouquet, table arrangements were gorgeous & I received many compliments. Some complaints I personally had were, I personally thought the corsages & boutonnieres were very expensive for what we got. Secondly, my list of individuals needed for corsages & boutonnieres kept getting mixed up, thankfully my MOH & I looked through them once they were delivered & found extras as well as some not in the correct piles. Lori does try her best to follow your budget, as well as scale back on designs to make it budget friendly.

I can’t thank Lori enough for the amazing job she did on my son’s wedding! The flowers were so incredibly beautiful , from the bouquets , the courage’s, to the arch they were married under and the centerpieces were one of the kind! Her creativity is exceptional. She did tables with candelabras and flowers. Each unique like nothing you’ve seen before. The entire room was breathtaking! Lori was a pure joy to work with as well. She saw the bride and grooms vision and made it come to life. I can’t recommend Lori enough!

Lori was such a pleasure to work with! She is so knowledgeable and great at what she does. When I met with her initially, I did not have much of a vision when it came to décor and floral arrangements but she helped to build the most perfect floral arrangements for our venue! The bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids were stunning. We had SO many compliments from guests about the floral arrangements! She made our venue look like an absolute fairy tale!

Our wedding day florals blew me away. Every expectation that I had was delivered upon and then some. Lori worked hard to go above and beyond to get me my favorite, out of season, florals. Lori's work was beautiful! I only ordered personal flowers (bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages) and they all turned out amazing! Lori took my inspiration pictures and made my bouquet even more beautiful than I could have imagined. I received many compliments on her work and I am in the process of preserving my bouquet because I love it so much!

Lori is the BEST of the BEST! Our floral design was absolutely stunning. I was truly blown away. All of our guests commented on how our flower arrangements were the most gorgeous, unique and stunning they had ever seen. Not only that, but she provided gorgeous centerpieces, bud vases, candles and decorated our cake with flowers. It was truly unbelievable and surpassed ALL of my expectations. The bouquets were gorgeous with satin ribbons and pearl pins. The boutonnieres and corsages were intricate and truly matched our style. Working with Lori was a breeze from start to finish. Lori was a dream to work with! From the beginning, Lori was very friendly and great with communication. At the last minute, my husband and I decided to postpone our wedding from December 2020 to December 2021. Lori put together multiple quotes for us and was always very flexible and accommodating! Lori did an amazing job at making our vision come to life, and was much more reasonably priced than other florists in the area. We hired Lori for my wedding shower and our wedding. The flowers for the shower were gorgeous. While we ended up not having as big of an event as we had originally planned for the wedding, we are so happy that Lori was able to provide flowers for our backyard reception, and more importantly, the bride's bouquet! The bouquet was absolutely stunning and I couldn't have asked for anything more perfect. The night before the wedding, we decided last minute to have my matron of honor (who was my only attendant) carry a bouquet and Lori was able to throw one together. Lori was wonderful to work with!

Lori has been incredibly nice and helpful even when we weren't sure what we wanted, and doubly so throughout a pandemic! The flowers were incredibly gorgeous and everyone who's seen them has said so. She was able to wrap my bouquet in a scrap of fabric from my late mother's wedding gown, which provided an extra special touch. Would recommend her to anyone planning a wedding in metro Detroit!

Lori did an amazing job for our wedding flowers and was such a pleasure to work with. Planning a wedding in the middle of a pandemic was not easy but Lori was so calm and creative that she took so much stress out or everything. Lori was absolutely incredible to work with. I sent her a few pictures and shared a few ideas with her and she brought my vision to life ten times over. She went over the top by making an extra boutonniere for my husband because she was worried it would wilt in the heat. Floral Designs by Lori exceeded my wedding expectations and made my wedding vision come to life! She is so nice, friendly, and easy to work with. I showed her some pictures of what I had in mind and she gave suggestions on what flowers would be best and within my budget. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL flowers for our wedding. They lasted weeks after the wedding too. Honestly, her pictures do not do her justice. I don't have a favorite flower, but Lori understood what I wanted and absolutely delivered. She did not remember meeting me, which was a little weird but other than that she was incredible and the flowers were stunning.

Where do I even begin? I cannot begin to express how happy we were with our experience with Lori. Not only is she very reliable and responsive to emails, but she is also incredibly sweet, kind, and patient. And don't even get me started on the flowers!!! Her work was breathtaking and we received countless compliments on the centerpieces and bouquets. Lori is one of the most talented florists I've ever seen and I was so honored to have worked with her!

Lori was wonderful. We didn't have a huge amount of floral needs - just ceremony dressing, bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages. My direction to her was something like "I like succulents, lavender and wildflowers. We're imagining some purples and lots of greenery." She took that advice and created the most unique and beautiful bouquets I have ever seen. My bouquet in particular was one large succulent surrounded by dusty miller, some wild flowers, and lavender and it was a huge highlight of the day (and my Facebook feed). She kept the roots in the succulent so I could plant it as a keepsake. Here's hoping I keep it alive! My bridesmaid's bouquets were just as beautiful and special and smelled amazing. She was responsive, timely, and created some really beautiful floral works of art.

Our bouquets were absolutely breathtaking and all of our flowers were beautiful, healthy, and in perfect condition. Our table settings were perfect and we received so many compliments on how nice our arch and floral decorations looked. They were also there on time to set up and break down. Lori was so friendly and amazing to work with. From the first emails we exchanged she was helpful and accommodating. After meeting with her the first time I knew she is who we would have doing our flowers even before we received a quote. I showed up to meet her with a full printout of what I wanted and of course it was a lot (thanks to Pinterest and the dream weddings on there). She saw and understood my vision of what I was looking for and gave me suggestions of ways to create the same look but for less money. The wedding flowers were beyond gorgeous and every last rose petal was so perfectly placed our guests needed to touch the flowers to see if they were real. That's how perfect everything was! The floral arrangements were everything I could have dreamed of and more. Lori and her team went above and beyond to make everything perfect for our special day and I could not be more thankful:)

Lori was able to envision a much more lavish and beautiful arrangement than I could, but still worked on what I gave her for ideas, just made it ten times better! Thank you for the most colorful and beautiful flowers for my daughter's wedding this summer! Because I have severe asthma and allergies to some types of real flowers, I didn't think that I would ever be able to have real flowers at the wedding. I am a florist's worst nightmare to have to work with because of my issues. Thanks to Lori, we worked hard to be creative and come up with solutions to help. One of my favorite table arrangements was 4 piece glass vases with real orchids submerged in water over clear stones and topped with a silver floating candle! Because the flowers were under water, you couldn't smell the fragrance and most guests thought it was an awesome look that combined flowers and candles for the evening. My daughter also wanted "HOT PINK" and shades of pink in the floral bouquets. We received so many compliments on her large cascading bridal bouquet which added awesome color to the pictures as well! The large tall flower centerpieces with hanging beads and silver twigs popping out were fresh and accented the whole hall. Lori is also good at coordinating the colors of flowers with the color of the bridesmaids dresses. I gave her a swatch of material so she could really match it well. She suggested exactly the right color linens that would make the flowers pop out! We used a wide variety of different size candles on the head tables where I sat to give a beautiful glow at night without flowers at my table. Lori went above and beyond what any other florist would do to make our wedding vision a reality! I was truly able to enjoy the day and my guests just raved at how awesome the reception hall was decorated especially knowing that I had to be very picky because of my allergies. The workers helped me take down the flowers near the end of the night and pass them out to the guests so that they could enjoy them at home! Highly recommended!

Lori is amazing! Her flower designs are hands down the best. She did both my sister's wedding and mine. For my wedding, I showed her a few pictures from Pinterest, she showed me some flower ideas, and that was it. You don't really know if the florist gets your ideas until the day of the wedding. I was stunned how perfectly she captured what I was describing. The bouquets were gorgeous and I received tons of compliments on them. Not only are the flowers amazing and Lori is wonderful to work with, she is also very reasonable. I highly recommend Floral Designs by Lori!

Lori was so great during the wedding planning process! I live in Chicago so my time to come back for appointments was very limited, but she was extremely accommodating! Lori and her crew are magical and there is really no other adjective to describe the work that her and the whole team do. We literally gave her next to nothing to work with other than some chicken-scratch and she turned our venue into a floral masterpiece. We will never forget the bouquets, from their elegant shape to their bustful colors, they were perfect. And then there were the table center pieces which were absolutely perfect! We still have guests months later asking us who was the florist at our wedding because the arrangements were that beautiful. But what is most important is Lori's class and her professionalism. She made it EASY from top to bottom. If you're looking for an affordable, quality florist for your special day, than there is no one in Metro Detroit that i'd recommend more than Lori. She is without a doubt a blessing in disguise and you will not regret the decision you made to choose her as your florist!

The floral designs Lori put together for our wedding were breathtaking! I came in with very little knowledge about flowers, but I gave Lori my colors and an idea of how I thought I’d want it to look and she went above and beyond my expectations! Lori was even able to incorporate a part of my mother’s dress into my bouquet, which I absolutely loved! Guests took the centerpieces home with them and several days later were commenting about how they were still holding up!

Lori did a great job putting together the flowers for my ceremony and reception. They were perfect for my color scheme and matched my vision! I was only able to meet with her once in person and so the majority of her work was based off of pictures I sent her. She did a great job and I would highly recommend her.

Lori Secord is extremely talented, friendly, and reasonably priced. She came with great ideas for my bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, centerpieces, and more. She was also very willing to work with a smaller budget. Numerous guests commented on the beautiful flowers. My husband and I were coming in from out of town for the wedding, and Lori skyped with us and talked on the phone several times. I would highly recommend Lori to anyone and would use her again!

Lori did an amazing job on our flowers. We had an old fashioned antique theme at the Henry Ford Museum, and she really understood the feeling of our theme. She was very creative, very accommodating and very patient. I really enjoyed working with her and recommend her to any and every bride!!

WOW! Lori did an INCREDIBLE job. Coming from a “confused bride” meaning, I’m not really quite sure what I wanted, Lori did a great job of taking my lack of vision, and making it into something stunning and beautiful. Wonderful to work with

Overall, I was satisfied with the flowers Lori provided for my wedding. My bouquet was beautiful, as were the centerpieces. We did feel that our tall centerpieces were huge in comparison to the the short ones, we would have preferred them a little more proportional. She did forget to deliver the mini bouquet for my jr. bridemaid to the church, one of my bridesmaids had to run to find whoever delivered the flowers to track it down. It was delivered in time for the ceremony so no harm done. I also had some issues with my final invoice being incorrect, but she did correct the problem for me in a timely manner. The price was a little more then I had hoped to pay, but comparable to other vendors. Overall, I was satisfied and would recommend her to other brides.

Lori took care of all our flower needs for our wedding and helped us with the linen and chair rental. We didn't give Lori very many demands/specifics of what we wanted or envisioned, and what she came up with was amazing! At the beginning of our planning, I was overwhelmed with all the choices available, but Lori helped walk us through the whole process and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! Lori made lots of suggestions for our centerpieces, bouquets and boutonnieres, ceremony decor, and it was all perfect.
