She has been extremely responsive and accommodating throughout the entire process, listening to our ideas while also sharing her expertise. I feel like we are planning my unique wedding, not just another wedding in her book. Her pricing is very transparent and fair, and Maureen helped us stick to our budget. Finally, Maureen has been very flexible with set-up plans for the day of the wedding, finding a way to make every request work (she even took the time to travel to our venue ahead of time to scope out design and set-up ideas). Maureen did the most phenomenal job with our wedding flowers. Every single floral arrangement looked like it came straight out of a fairytale, it was so gorgeous! Her talent truly speaks for itself. Maureen is absolutely a pleasure to work with. She was the first florist we talked to and immediately we decided she was the one and it turned out to be the perfect decision. She was so patient helping me narrow down my vision and was the most friendly and cooperative when there was some hiccup with the payment. I sent her pictures of the types of floral arrangements I wanted, and she was able to replicate them exactly! Our wedding flowers were the most perfect I could ask for and just as I dreamed :) The arbor looked like it came from a fairy tale and all the pictures we took with it looked like they are from a magazine! I first met Maureen Christmas several years ago when she was an assistant teacher in a floral design class I was taking in Connecticut. A few months later, I had the great fortune to attend one of her lecture/demonstrations in Boston. When our daughter became engaged in August of 2020, and decided to get married in Portsmouth, NH, I knew immediately that Maureen had to do all of the flowers! Once we finalized the venue location, Maureen, our daughter, and I met to discuss all of the details of the wedding. Maureen asked many, many questions, and took great care to get to know our vision. She created perfect designs for the ceremony site, the long farm tables, the bars, the cake table, and the dance floor. We loved the freshness of the various design styles for each location, and her sense of color made every arrangement exciting and vibrant. What she expertly created for our daughter's seaside wedding in June brought together all of the other components like table cloths, lighting, and china, into one dazzling expression of the wedding our daughter wanted! Throughout the planning process, and on the day of the wedding, Maureen was the ultimate professional who collaborated well with each of the other vendors. To sum it all up, Maureen is an amazing designer. She makes dreams come true. I recommend her most highly!

Maureen was one of the first vendors we selected, after being a bridesmaid in two weddings where she designed the florals. Her work was stunning and I didn't feel the need to research other options. She was so easy to work with... patient, creative, and so incredibly talented! She even added some ideas just before finalizing that really brought the whole design together. Her thoughtfulness and attention to detail was clear in every piece she assembled. Being someone who doesn't know much about flowers, I needed someone who could guide me to a vision, and Maureen delivered 1000%! She stuck to our budget, gave us so many options to choose from, and repurposed things beautifully from ceremony to reception (even to brunch the next day!)I highly recommend choosing Maureen at Floral Notes for your wedding - she is truly a gem (both as a floral designer and a person!)

Working with Floral Notes was an amazing experience, maureen was wonderful and attentive the day of my wedding and truly made my aesthetic dreams come true with the beautiful whites and greenery in my flowers and flowers in my venue. Maureen at Floral Notes Acton did the flowers for my daughter’s wedding in November and we could not have made a better choice. I love flowers but don’t know much about them at all and was finding the florist shops in our area very intimidating. A friend recommended Maureen and she was wonderful. She is low key, listens well, is very responsive and keeps iterating ideas and proposals until it all works. The final floral pieces and bouquets were spectacular. She transformed our poorly articulated ideas and desire for bright colors into flower arrangements that made every space at the wedding unique and beautiful. The stunning flowers on the simple white cloth of the chuppah transformed the chapel. She generated the most amazing vertical centerpiece ever for cocktail hour, added matching horizontal mini-versions, and lit up the dark wood panels of the classic Dane Estate library into a bright, inviting space. The dining table centerpieces were so beautiful that every single one was taken home by guests. Maureen is the best!

Maureen Christmas is a creative visionary. Her arrangements are unique and gorgeous in a way that turns heads. We hired her for our wedding, she worked closely with us to iron out our vision, and she executed it flawlessly. She created a gorgeous bridal bouquet that was unlike any other I had seen. Her arrangements lasted so long, we got to enjoy them for a week! I even dried my bouquet because it was too beautiful to throw away. She is so creative, loves her job, and is so fun to work with!

I enjoyed working with Maureen so much, starting from our very first email conversation. I told her I was interested in an untraditional bouquet (with things like vegetables and succulents), and she was immediately interested in trying it out together! She was communicative, affordable, and professional. She created BEAUTIFUL and unique bouquets for our wedding day, and elegant table displays for the reception.

Maureen was EXCELLENT! I am a passionate plant mom, and love flowers as well. We were able to connect via Zoom where she was able to show me some ideas and options for our centerpieces. She was also able to provide us with a customized plan which made it easy to see it all come together. We were able to discuss several possibilities of customization, and she was willing to show some prior pieces she had put together for inspiration which was amazing! I never felt as if my questions or comments were impeding on the many other project I'm sure she had going on - and for that, I am so appreciative! On the day of, Maureen brought the most gorgeous bouquet - taking my vision and going above and beyond! Being caught up in the day, I wasn't able to acknowledge all the work in the details, but after seeing the photos I can't help but recognize all the work that went into it! Brides, this is who you want to design your bouquet and centerpieces - you will not be disappointed!

Maureen was really a pro from the start! Her extensive experience and knowledge shined through as she was able to suggest many different designs and flowers that would bring my vision to life! She took total control, which really helped put my mind at ease while planning a 200+ wedding. I had total trust in her abilities and everything came out beautifully! My asymmetrical bouquet was especially my favorite and complimented my dress so well.

Maureen was my favorite vendor to work with!! Her flowers were absolutely gorgeous, three months after our wedding and we still have guests raving about how beautiful all the flowers were! At our very first meeting I told her I knew nothing about flowers, she was SO kind and knowledgeable helping me pick what would be best and what would fit my vision. Que the pandemic and I was afraid I would lose her with having to switch our date multiple times..but she always made sure she was available, she would check in just to see how we were. She truly made you feel cared for and not just another client. I cannot say enough good things about Maureen. With her background and knowledge in floral art I believe she could put together any bride's dream flowers and they'd be better than you could ever imagine!!

Maureen did an incredible job with my wedding florals. Our plans changed entirely due to COVID19 and she worked with me to create a new plan for my florals during the few weeks before my wedding. The result was amazing!! She made my wedding florals dreams come true.

If you’re looking for someone with endless creativity and beautiful floral designs, Maureen is your lady! After having our first meeting with her, my mom and I immediately noticed her passion for arrangements – a passion that translates so well into a final product and overall vision. We gave her a color scheme and a few preferences but let her choose the types of flowers and greenery and we’re so glad we did. Everytime I look at my bouquet and centerpieces, I have to smile. In addition to creating amazing florals, Maureen was incredibly easy to work with as our plans changed due to the pandemic. She was consistently willing to provide guidance and input as we switched to a much smaller backyard wedding, making all kinds of accommodations to assist us. I’m so grateful for Maureen’s professionalism and creative eye. She really made our day feel so magical and special.

Maureen was wonderful to work with for my son's wedding. She added several suggestions that helped make the small group wedding special. Her designs are creative and festive. She got to know the bride and groom in just one meeting - their style was captured perfectly. Maureen added seeded eucalyptus to the arrangements which is common in Australia. The bride's father is from Australia and was thrilled with the addition. We would highly recommend Maureen and Floral Notes.

Maureen, of Floral Notes, is an excellent florist, and she did a terrific job creating the floral arrangements for our wedding. She was helpful and attentive every step of the way, listening carefully to what we envisioned and giving us helpful guidance and a wide array of options to assist us in creating the look we were going for. When the big day came, we were impressed at how marvelously Maureen managed to ultimately bring our vision to life, making our autumn ceremony and reception that much more beautiful with a brilliant splash of fall color! We are so thankful that Maureen was on our wedding team, and recommend her to any bride-and-groom-to-be without reservation!

Maureen was amazing to work with. The first time we met with her she had created a mock bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquet, and centerpiece to give us an idea. It was super helpful to be able to see them in person, and not just pictures. In the months leading up to the wedding we had multiple changes, such as changing what the ring bearer and flower girls would carry, and any change we made was met with a kind email and updated invoice. I was especially thankful that she kept us within our original budget of $3K and she worked with us to make that budget go as far as possible without ever making us feel like we had to add money. Finally, her creations on the day of the wedding were fabulous – I was looking for an elegant but natural look with a lot of greenery and I would not change a thing about what she created. I would recommend Maureen for any bride!

I loved working with Maureen! She's not only talented and creative, she totally listened to what our vision for our wedding was and was spot on in delivering the most beautiful flowers that we could hope for! Our wedding was one night, and the reception the next, so it involved two trips, and she was prompt, set things up beautifully, and then helped another vendor, with some set-up. Her warm and friendly personality were awesome to work with, and I couldn't have been happier on this special day, to have chosen Maureen and Floral Notes. Highly recommend!!

Maureen's work is BEAUTIFUL! I requested a very simple rustic floral arrangement for all aspects of the wedding and Maureen more than delivered! She is very creative, had attention to detail and her work is stunning. On the business side, she is very responsive, I never was worried about anything with Maureen!

Maureen Christmas of Floral Notes created stunning flower arrangements for our wedding and was an absolute pleasure to work with! Without a clear vision of what my husband and I were looking for in regards to flowers for our wedding, I provided Maureen with our color scheme, a few adjectives I thought described my taste in flower arrangements and our flower budget. That was all Maureen needed to hear – she ran with those details and began sending me photos of prototypes she thought I might like. It is safe to say that Maureen knew our vision before we did, and she went above and beyond to execute it. Maureen was also able to include subtle details in her arrangements that connected to our country club venue and our love of golf. Just to name a few… she incorporated a golf tee into the boutonnieres worn by our bridal party, she elevated our place cards by arranging them on grass panels (including placement of 200 pins to secure the cards!), and she completed our centerpieces with a curled wire “C” (the initial of our last name). Maureen definitely thought of every last detail and we couldn’t be happier with the final product! Additionally, Maureen always made herself available for any and all questions or comments. In the very early stages of wedding planning, my husband and I relocated from Massachusetts to South Carolina and we were prepared for the challenges we would inevitably face during long-distance wedding planning. While working with Maureen, my husband and I had no difficulties whatsoever being so far away! She was always available via telephone and email, but she also made herself available while we were in town for marathon wedding planning weekends. Working with Maureen was one of the best decisions my husband and I made during the wedding planning process. She is extremely talented. We highly recommend Maureen – you won’t be disappointed!

Maureen and her crew are absolutely incredible. Don't take my word for it just go see her work. She transformed our venue. Her work is incredibly delicate and tasteful. You can tell the second you meet her that she is someone that takes such pride and is so committed to what she does. My husband and I are architects so succeeding control (especially when it comes to design) is not our strong suite but we immediately recognized her eye for color and composition and just let her do her thing (which trust me you will NEVER regret). She exceeded all of our expectations and made the process of decorating our venue incredibly easy. Maureen herself is sweet, generous, and so on top of everything. Her composure and knowledge made us feel calm and in control (even at those times when we weren't). She helped us to ask all of the right questions to make the wedding such an incredible success. I cannot recommend her enough.

Floral Notes was my favorite vendor that I worked with throughout the entire wedding process! Maureen is so easy to work with and incredibly organized. I sent her a few Pinterest pictures and gave her a brief overview of what I liked and she PERFECTLY got what I was looking for. I was so so happy with how our flowers turned out and I got lots of compliments from our guests.
