Given the fact that you were wearing a black bridal gown I did suggest lighting up the bouquet a bit with a few ivory roses and the red anemones so that your bouquet could "pop" off your dark dress. My worry was that it wasn't going to show up well in photos. The same really goes for all the decor items. At any point you could have said no. Your wedding was in the fall so a few fall touches were surely not out of the norm to lighten things up. 99% of ALL cascade bouquets I make go in that plastic holder. I'm very clear about that from the start. The reason for this is that flowers don't grow upside down. The only way to get them to go in that direction is to push them up into the foam in the holder. Cascade bouquets are more expensive because of the labor and all the flowers it takes to create them. I don't reach out to brides until that final 3 week prior mark just to make sure all the number of tables and everything else is finalized before I order your flowers. But when you added the 2 arrangements to sit on the stands it brought you back up closer to the original quote. You mentioned you plan to donate the flowers to the memory care facility when we first met. I thought that was a really great idea! Again, I'm truly sorry.
