Anna is a professional cellist originally from Caracas, Venezuela. She holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music Performance from Louisiana State University and she is an active musician in the Fox Valley area. Before moving to Appleton, she performed with many ensembles in the Baton Rouge area including Opéra Louisiane, Louisiana Sinfonietta and the New Orleans Opera. She was the Assistant Principal Cellist of the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra and a member of the cello section of the Baton Rouge Symphony. Back in her hometown, she performed with the Venezuelan Symphony Orchestra and the Caracas Municipal Orchestra. In addition to performing, Anna is also a passionate teacher. She has been a member of several non-profit organizations working as a music teacher and arts administrator. Florence Strings did such an incredible job playing our wedding ceremony last September. They played exactly what we requested and did so beautifully, plus it couldn't have been easier to coordinate in the run-up to the big day. Couldn't recommend them more highly!

Anna and Randy played for our ceremony and cocktail hour October 2024. It was just amazing, I couldn’t have asked for our experience to be any better. They communicated with us so well, and gave us recommendations leading up to wedding day! Florence Strings was a wonderful addition to our wedding day! We got married on 10/5/24 and they performed at our ceremony, cocktail hour, and through dinner. It was a lovely to have live music and the guests loved it! They were wonderful to work with leading up to the wedding too and communicated well with us.

Anna and Randy were fantastic to work with. They eased my anxiety leading up to the wedding and had everything down perfect come ceremony time. They sounded fantastic, and we are still getting compliments about our ceremony music, Very easy to communicate with. Arrived on time to our event and were able to accommodate for a last minute venue change due to rain. My only regret is that I didn’t record our ceremony to listen to them again. :)

This wonderful duo played for our wedding ceremony, background music, and my husband's dance with his mom. They were perfect. The communication from booking them to the wedding day was wonderful. They answered all the questions I had. They took the songs we wanted and played them beautifully. They were the perfect background sound for our cocktail hour. Would absolutely hire them again!

Ever since I was little I dreamed of walking down the aisle to live string music at my wedding. Florence Strings made that dream a reality! They were super communicative from start to finish and easy to work with. I have received so many compliments about how beautiful the strings were doing our service. Highly recommend Florence Strings. We had them play at our outdoor ceremony where it was raining off and on beforehand, we were a bit worried they wouldn't be able to play. We set up tent for them to play under and they were very accommodating. My husband and I enjoyed working with them and loved the beautiful music they played.

Beautiful!!! We had an outdoor wedding and they played so well. I could hear them off in the distance as I was waiting to walk down. They were efficient and no stress involved with working with them! They gave me everything I wanted!

Florence Strings was the perfect addition to our wedding at Hotel Northland. They have an incredible mix of songs to choose from which you can browse on their website. I havd no idea where to start so they gave us the ceremony lineup suggestions (processional, bride walk, recessional). We chose pop songs for the ceremony and they played them beautifully. We asked them to play during our cocktail hour and asked for a mix of pop covers and classical music. It was PERFECT. They were so easy to work with and a huge hit, So classic and beautiful.
