Anna is a professional cellist originally from Caracas, Venezuela. She holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music Performance from Louisiana State University and she is an active musician in the Fox Valley area.
Before moving to Appleton, she performed with many ensembles in the Baton Rouge area including Opéra Louisiane, Louisiana Sinfonietta and the New Orleans Opera. She was the Assistant Principal Cellist of the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra and a member of the cello section of the Baton Rouge Symphony. Back in her hometown, she performed with the Venezuelan Symphony Orchestra and the Caracas Municipal Orchestra.
In addition to performing, Anna is also a passionate teacher. She has been a member of several non-profit organizations working as a music teacher and arts administrator.

One small thing to note: for outdoor ceremonies, they do require a tent to perform under. Since our wedding took place right in the middle of the garden, the tent did take away from the natural, open aesthetic I had envisioned.
All in all, I would recommend Florence Strings to any couple looking to elevate their ceremony with live music.

We asked them to play during our cocktail hour and asked for a mix of pop covers and classical music. It was PERFECT. They were so easy to work with and a huge hit, So classic and beautiful.
