Florence strings was absolutely outstanding for our ceremony and cocktail hour for our wedding. They were very professional and had great communication. They were very accommodating for the different songs we requested and played beautifully. I couldn't recommend them enough!

Florence Strings was an amazing choice for us and what we wanted for our ceremony music, we are extremely glad we found them! They were great with communication leading up to the day, and extremely polite with requesting any needed info. They made sure they received our preferred songs to come prepared for the day of and let us know if they were able to play songs outside of their list that we requested or not. We went with the duo and it was the perfect amount for what we were hoping for. We received many compliments on our violinists and how beautifully they sounded. I would definitely recommend Florence Strings for your needs & wants! They definitely brought my vision for the specific songs we wanted in our ceremony to life!

Anna Herrera

Cellist

Anna is a professional cellist originally from Caracas, Venezuela. She holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music Performance from Louisiana State University and she is an active musician in the Fox Valley area. Before moving to Appleton, she performed with many ensembles in the Baton Rouge area including Opéra Louisiane, Louisiana Sinfonietta and the New Orleans Opera. She was the Assistant Principal Cellist of the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra and a member of the cello section of the Baton Rouge Symphony. Back in her hometown, she performed with the Venezuelan Symphony Orchestra and the Caracas Municipal Orchestra. In addition to performing, Anna is also a passionate teacher. She has been a member of several non-profit organizations working as a music teacher and arts administrator. and a string trio was a non-negotiable for me. I was so happy they were available. They were easy to work with, touched in regularly, and made our day a seamless experience. Not only that, but they sounded amazing. Everything I have ever dreamed of! They also worked with us to make sure we could have our first dance with them after cocktail hour. We got married at Road America- if you aren't familiar, it is a bit loud. We had the string trio mic'd up and could hear them so clearly. 10/10 would recommend!

the ceremony to life and their communication leading up to the day was great! One small thing to note: for outdoor ceremonies, they do require a tent to perform under. Since our wedding took place right in the middle of the garden, the tent did take away from the natural, open aesthetic I had envisioned.
