We cannot say enough good things about Arturo!! Arturo is truly a master of his craft. We knew that we wanted something slightly non-traditional for our wedding florals and when we found Arturo and saw his work we knew that it was the right fit. He is very warm and put us immediately at ease. We provided a general vision for what we were thinking and he ran with that and added plenty of creative touches that we couldn't have come up with on our own. His vision totally fit our overall concept yet elevated it far above what we could have imagined. Our guests were truly floored by how beautiful the ceremony and reception turned out. Arturo was also great at working within our budget and helping us to think through the areas that were most worth spending money on. We couldn't recommend Arturo more highly!!

Arturo made our floral dreams come true that we didn’t even know we had! Besides the amazingly kind person Arturo is, what I appreciated most about working with him was that he is able to translate his client’s ideas and desires (often vague in our case!) into a concrete and cohesive vision that is even better than what we could have come up with originally! For example, we wanted our reception space in a modern art museum transformed into a romantic secret garden. Based on this request, Arturo brought to life a jaw-dropping ceiling floral installation that perfectly complemented the more subtle floral bud vases and candle lights on the dinner tables. Even the more “traditional” floral pieces we requested for (like a round bridal bouquet, a ceremony arch) had the touch of Arturo magic: it was classic yet unique. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Arturo and excited to see the beautiful floral vision he will continue to bring to life with other brides! Thank you, Arturo.

When people ask me my favorite part about my wedding, I usually respond with “the flowers.” I mean, maybe I should say “marrying the love of my my life” or “celebrating with friends and family” but have you seen the flowers?! Uhm GORGEOUS! I had the pleasure of working with Arturo, who was recommended by my wedding planner (Ivory & Stone). Not only was he talented, he was so reasonably priced. He was also so patient and sweet with me. I changed my mind a few times (and definitely had some minor “freak out” bride moments), but I am so glad I trusted him. Not to mention, it was a HOT day for my wedding, and he didn’t complain once. He always had the biggest smile on his face when I saw him. Anyways, everything turned out beautiful and perfect!

When we envisioned our wedding, all I knew from the start was. So Cal Tropical Boho and that Arturo had to bring that vision to life. From the second you see his work and experience his welcoming personality, there is no way you can’t trust him with your wedding day. His use of unique florals and knowledge for the craft makes him stand out against any other florist. I gave him photos and mood boards, but man… did he surpass EVERYTHING I could have dreamed of. Not only that, our wedding was impacted by 40 mile hour winds and heavy rains, and he and his team pivoted our original vision of an outdoor ceremony and transformed what was a backup indoor space into the most intimate tropical setting. All while setting up in horrible weather. From green vines dripping from the ceiling, to a palm leave install that was originally supposed to be on a fire place. If it weren’t for him and his back up plans to make this space beautiful, I don’t think I would have slept the week leading up to the wedding. I am so grateful for his vision, knowledge, and ability to pivot… all with a smile on his face. He went above and beyond on setting up our head table with candles and greenery for our plates. Not to mention my stunning, dramatic bouquet adorned with black velvet to match the moodiness of the décor and bridesmaids dresses. I was in love with his attention to detail and I will forever be in awe of his work. His floral masterpieces and design truly is what brought the entire wedding together and I cannot recommend Arturo enough!!

Arturo was the only vendor we considered for florals because we wanted a romantic and sultry mood with very unique blooms--no surprise that he and his team delivered, AND THEN SOME. The way he combines delicate florals and unique plants is truly one-of-a-kind. We didn't want average looking wedding flowers, so we booked Arturo. We had a large installation on an olive tree that was TO DIE FOR...it created the most perfect altar for our ceremony and instantly transformed into an ornate background for guests to use to photos afterward. Florals are a big unknown until wedding day but a HUGE part of decor. If anything, I would have invested more in florals and less in other items--we were so obsessed! It was important for us to allow the creative juices to flow while providing guidance on coloring and give him and idea of other decor. He took it from there, and created a vision of floral beauty that we will remember and love forever!

Arturo is a no brainer for ANY floral needs. His creative mind, floral knowledge, and welcoming personality have made him an exceptional florist. In wanting something different from traditional wedding flowers but not knowing exactly how to verbalize it, it is incredible how he was able to create the perfect arrangements for our wedding. Looking back at pictures, our beautiful flowers framed our event perfectly and are more than we could have ever dreamed of. I highly- a million times over recommend Arturo. Worth every penny and more!

My wife and I hired Arturo to provide the florals for our wedding and he could not have done a better job. We really didn’t have a vision for what we wanted, but Arturo made it easy from our first call by asking us questions that helped make the process much easier. We mostly deferred to his expertise and he did not disappoint, as all of the floral arrangements and the arch were absolutely stunning and fit the aesthetic of our venue perfectly. His flowers truly elevated the entire venue and brought so much beauty to the space. We have received so many compliments from family, friends, and even other vendors on Arturo’s work, and would happily recommend him to anyone in need of his services!

When we came to Arturo with an extremely vague vision and some odd requests for center pieces, we weren’t sure how it would turn out. We knew we wanted to incorporate our growler collection and create a “brewery” theme with lots of greenery. With so little to go off of, we asked Arturo to fill our venue, which is mostly a white/blank space, and make it feel warm and inviting. We were absolutely BLOWN AWAY by how the décor turned out. We could not have begun to envision what would come to be the perfect look for our wedding day. I requested proteas as part of my bouquet and Arturo delivered a beautiful piece that I am excited to have preserved. Arturo was the perfect florist for us and we’re so happy we gave him the creative freedom for our wedding.

Arturo is a GEM. I immediately felt so comfortable with him and could tell that he understood my vision and would execute it perfectly. I sent him some inspo pictures and we chatted a bit, but I told him that I wasn't specific about which flowers were used and just let him work his magic. He was very conscious of and willing to work around our budget as well. I know he (and all wedding vendors) have been absolutely slammed this year, but he was so dependable and helpful every step of the way. His artistry and energy are just incredible and we were so lucky to get to work with him!

Arturo and his team are amazing! Not only is he extremely personable and just amazing to work with but he is also amazingly talented. I was able to give him a general vision of what I was looking for and he just delivered! He's reliable, communicative and was on time. Could not have asked for a better florist!

Arturo went above and beyond in creating the most beautiful bridal bouquet, boutonnieres, and floral arrangements for our wedding. He even arranged flowers for our simple cake. Even though Arturo created an amazing customized proposal to help us visualize what our flowers would look like, the real deal was even better. We got married at Cabrillo National Monument and the flowers, dried elements, and color scheme fit the venue perfectly. My partner and I appreciated Arturo's positive energy and creativity and will be looking for an excuse to work with him again for any special event. Arturo's work is truly exceptional!

look no further for a florist, Arturo is all you will ever need! He just did my wedding on July 10th and I have nothing but amazing things to say about his work. He tried and overly succeeded from the beginning of planning to understand my vision and literally ran to the moon with it! I was in shock when I walked into our reception to see how beautiful it all was all thank you to his work. He went above and beyond as a florist and did the final walk through with me and helped guide me on what would look good and where. I seriously cannot thank him enough and credit him for the entire aesthetic of our reception. He has such a good eye and will help you every step or the way. So thankful I was introduced to him!

Arturo is such a creative talent and his florals are pieces of art that scream originality. I remember sitting down with him only having a vague idea of what I wanted and he was able to take little comments about color, personality, and lifestyle to whip up a vision that was spot on. It was refreshing to have a florist who just ‘gets it’ and not have to spend hours scouring the internet for outdated images of arrangements that I didn’t like anyway. Most importantly, I was one of Arturo’s 2020 brides (EEK!) and when I had to change venues he was incredibly gracious even though things did not work in his favor (through no fault of his own). When I didn’t know how to navigate the situation, Arturo contacted the new florist to try and keep our original plan intact and ensure his vision for my personal florals matched the reception florals at the new venue. The best part about working with Arturo was that I never had to worry. He’s flexible, funny, and has a great personality. He sets a high standard for himself and his work so I knew I would love whatever he designed. After working with him, I’m confident he could turn my least favorite color and plants into something I would like. He’s just that good. I cannot recommend him enough and I’m still looking for excuses to use Arturo again in the future!

I'd give Arturo 100 stars if I could! He is simply a bride's dream. His work speaks for itself with its beauty and attention to detail. He listened to my vision, brought it to life (did even better then what I envisioned) and really enhanced the beauty of my whole day. Not to mention, he did it all in 4 days!!!! You have found your florist. I promise. Arturo is a florist like no other - a kind person, funny as hell, and knows his shit (can I swear on here?). I would hire him to bring the flowers to my own funeral if I could - family please take note. The wedding world might be on fire right now but if you hire Arturo you can count on him to get your flowers absolutely perfect, regardless of the situation.

You NEED to hire Arturo! I can't say enough good things about him and his talent. From the amazing ceremony arch, to bridal & bridesmaid bouquets, to a floral covered cabana for dinner - our wedding was magical thanks to Arturo's vision and attention to detail. Our wedding plans were up in the air for several months due to COVID, and Arturo was always so kind and quick to reassure us that he would be willing to change and adapt wherever we landed. When we went from 200+ guests, to a 10-person micro wedding, Arturo ran with an entirely new vision and everything came together beautifully and exceeded every expectation we could have had. He is an absolute delight to work with and always has a smile on his face. We're already coming up with reasons to work with Arturo again in the future. I highly recommend you do the same!

Loved, loved, LOVED working with Arturo. We had an elopement planned that evolved into a micro-wedding and Arturo was flexible with all of it. He listened when I mentioned things I really didn’t want to ensure that there was no miscommunication, and he made the most beautiful bouquet (he even taught me how to dry out some of the stems to keep)! We added a dog collar and a boutonnière and they turned our beautifully. I would absolutely work with him again and plan to order from him in the future. He was professional, polite and responsive which took so much anxiety out of our wedding day.

This review is long overdue! Arturo is the best to work with. He knows his flowers and can take your small ideas like I want xyz color flowers and create a master piece. We knew nothing about flowers besides what we didn't want (my husband hates roses), and Arturo went above and beyond what we imagined our day would look like. He is so easy to work with and on top of that he is hilarious and a fun person to be around. It honestly felt like we were working with a friend when we were planning with him. He required minimal check-ins from our one meeting, and trusting him with our flowers was the best decision. When you find the right vendor for your day, and trust they have your best interests (which he does) the results are beyond what you imagined possible. Booking Arturo was one of the best decisions we made, and we are so grateful he came recommended to us by friends.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Arturo. I am a native San Diegan who currently lives across the country, and has literally no creative bone in her body. Luckily, I had Arturo (and my amazing planner, Jessica at Plan Prep Party). He truly took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, even when I had no idea how to communicate it. He was patient, and immediately set me at ease with his light-hearted, hilarious soul. Our flowers were jaw-dropping. I had been worried before hiring Arturo since our flower budget was a bit tight, but OMG. The morning of my wedding, I ran around just in awe of our centerpieces. The bouquets and boutonnières--amazing. Our ceremony decor--perfect. Seriously, if you need flowers and just beautiful decor magic in general, hire AHR Florals.
