Flores de Bosquez

Marisa of Flores de Bosquez was one of the most impressive wedding vendors I worked with. Her work is real artistry, unique, interesting, and gorgeous. It's not cliche wedding stuff- which I didn't want. She put so much time into listening and talking with me to get what I was going for and nailed it. She really goes above and beyond and is personally a warm and kind human being who genuinely cares.

Marisa literally brought tears to my eyes when she dropped off my bouquet and my bridal parties. She brought my vision to life, Actually she made it better! Marisa has an amazing artistic eye and the way she arranges florals is so organic and flows beautifully. When I saw my ceremony and reception florals, I cried again. She did such an amazing job. Everyone was blown away on how beautiful everything looked. The main compliment we got from guests was "I've never seen flowers and center pieces so beautiful like this before! So unique!" We decided to go with ikebana centerpieces since they are less traditional and more edgy looking which I loved! Hands down will always hire her for any floral needs in the future. Marisa was a darling to work with. She has such a passion for floral artistry and really has an eye for style. She also was super respectful of our budget and vision. Her flowers were beautiful and made our wedding that much more magical!

Marisa was amazing throughout the entire process. She replied to my messages quickly, met with me in person to discuss my thoughts, and really understood what flower details I envisioned. She even utilized personal touches that I requested. On my wedding day, she was on time and set up my centerpieces herself. The flower arrangements were beautiful and exactly what I wanted! My flower crown blew me (and all my guests) away! The collar for my dog was cute. Everything was unique and perfect. I could tell she really loves her job and is interested in pleasing her customers. I would definitely recommend her.

We loved working with Marisa! We knew we wanted to book her after seeing her beautiful creations. She was extremely professional and easy to work with from the start. We initially had a small budget, which she was completely fine with and willing to work with. As we continued to work together, our visions aligned so much that we decided to have her create all the floral pieces for our wedding. We trusted her work and gave her free reign to do what she does best. We were not disappointed at all. Her flowers were stunning and made our wedding come together beautifully. Had the most GORGEOUS flowers for my 1930s wedding aboard the Queen Mary! She has the most wonderful and unique choice of flowers that are perfect for a vintage wedding. She was also amazing at helping us out last minute! Highly recommended!

First off, Marisa is an artist. Her Instagram and website show you exactly what she is capable of, and what her esthetic is. I appreciated that she was very communicative, responding to emails and texts right away. She was quick to share ideas about how to cut down some costs (that's very helpful when the budget is a concern). Even though our budget may have been considered on the low end for a simple reception (about $2,500) she never made us feel like we were being cheap or unreasonable about not wanting to spend more. She respected our budget and didn't compromise our vision to stay within it. I felt very lucky to have found her and that she was able to create my dream floral-scape for our reception. It was everything we wanted and more. Extra details: She came to the venue to walk through ideas with me and provided great insights beyond just flower arrangements. She also came by my home to pick up materials which was super helpful to a busy bride. She radiated positive energy during the setup and takedown process, which you can't put a price tag on. Overall, I think Marisa has a bright future and I would confidently recommend her to any brides who want a unique and chic event.

Flowers are something I love admiring and know very little about, so I armed Marisa with little more than a Pinterest board and a list of our colors. She rose to the challenge gracefully and professionally, coming with us to see our venue and helping develop our aesthetic as we went along (if you've got more of a plan, I can assure you she'd work well with that too, she asked numerous relevant questions that would have explored every aspect of an existing vision). Cannot say enough things about how pleased we were with literally everything she did, from helping incorporate paper book flowers to donating the leftover arrangements (my mom forgot to take them home, whoops) without so much as a batted eyelash.

Flores de Bosquez was one of THE BEST wedding choices we made. Marisa has a great eye and was such a pleasure to work with. She had done a friend's wedding and I fell in love with her arrangements; I absolutely had to have her for my own wedding. She was super flexible with scheduling. We had our first meeting and I knew she understood exactly what I wanted right away. She had so many great ideas and she got me excited about what she could do. Day of, she arrived right on time and got everyone their personal flowers for pictures and installed the floral arrangement on our arch, as well as our centerpieces. Every arrangement looked exactly as we discussed. They were PERFECT. Marisa is such a nice person and a great listener. She took exactly what I had in my head and made it reality, and was a pleasure every step of the way. Very responsive over the phone and via email. She made herself available for my vendor walk though and she ensured that everything went smoothly on the day of my wedding. Do yourself a huge favor and hire her for your wedding. You WON'T be sorry you did. She does the most gorgeous work, it's unbelievable.

Absolutely a dream to work with!! Marisa was so gracious and accommodating. We wanted rustic wildflowers in bold and bright colors and her arrangements were GORGEOUS! We received so many compliments at our wedding, including from our venue. Her arrangements and designs are artistic and unique. She’s also a very sweet and kind person, willing to work with your budget and vision ! Other florists I met with were trying to push their vision on me. Meeting with Marisa was a refreshing breath of fresh air. I highly recommend her - she is amazing. Love love love!!

Another happy bride here. Marisa did the floral for our traveler's dinner at Bombay Palace in Beverly Hills and wedding at the Carondelet House in Westlake. Both were very different from each other and astounding. Working with Marisa was one of our best choices. Look at her instagram! We had an nontraditional vision. We wanted wildness and pops of burgundy, lots of color. The outcome exceeded my expectations. We had compliments for months because everyone was delighted to bring an arrangement back with them from both events, and I hung on to my bouquet for quite a while. She's a genius. I will post an updated review once we have photos!

Marisa is amazing. We initially only wanted to hire a florist to do personal flowers, but the more we talked and worked with her, the more we saw how she was able to bring our vision for our wedding to life. She added some additional touches of bud vases and garlands where the ceremony was being held, and a beautiful garland on the escort card board we made, but was never pushy about adding anything, and never tried to up-sell us. Other florists pushed back on some of our ideas, but Marisa embraced them fully. She was so sweet, and all the florals turned out perfectly! She even gave me tips on how to replant the succulents in my bridal bouquet to give them continued life after the wedding. Also, if you haven't checked out her Instagram, Marisa is a TRUE artist. So lucky we got to work with her!

One of the best decisions we made in the wedding planning process was hiring Flores de Bosquez to do our florals. She worked with us (and our budget) to get the flowers of our dreams, we were getting compliments on them all day at our wedding. Highly recommend!

Flores de Bosquez is the best! Marisa is a true artist with an incredible eye and fun, fashion-forward taste, but she's still completely flexible and open to feedback. She was easy to work with and made our wedding look wild and magical, just like we wanted. She really knows her stuff too (I'd never even heard of bleached peacock feathers till Marisa told me about them!) and I'd work with her again in a second. Very happy I went with my gut and chose this florist.

I couldn’t be happier with the direction Marisa took with my wedding. The flowers were the focal point of everything and were loved by all.

I wish I’d known about Flores de Bosquez before my wedding, but I asked her to create a crown for my fourth (flower) anniversary instead. All she needed was a glimpse of my wedding photos and a few descriptors and she produced the crown I’d imagined in my head, only better. Marisa can make you beautiful standard arrangements of all sorts; but my favorite bouquets are the ones that have darker gothic elements to them. If you want a touch of that or a lot of that, just look at her Instagram! It sets her work apart and makes it totally unique. She’s almost psychic in her ability to read exactly what you want even if you are lacking the terminalogy to describe it.

Marisa was a dream to work with. Our flowers and greenery were stunning! She also added a few of the leftover flowers to our cake, which was a sweet touch. She made our vision come to life while still remaining in the budget. I still don’t know how she did it. My husband was already at the venue when she arrived and said she was very nice and extremely helpful. I knew this from speaking to her on the phone, but it was nice to be able to solidify it. I’d highly recommend her to anyone.

Marisa was fantastic to collaborate with, and with a relatively tight schedule - I pulled together my wedding in about a month - she provided such phenomenal and timely service. She is very, very knowledgeable, well organized, and incredibly thoughtful and generous - she even worked with the day of to arrange some extra pieces around our venue. We originally chose Flores de Bosquez because the work had a level of artistry and craft that really set it apart from other florists we had considered, and we were thrilled with the final arrangements.

My husband and I got married in Joshua Tree this July. Being from Atlanta I didn’t know where to start when looking for someone in CA to do my flowers — but having a beautiful bouquet has always been really important to me. I think I found Marisa through some blog post about talented florist in the LA area. I was able to get a better idea of her style through her Instagram and right away I knew I wanted her to do my bouquet. I reached out to her and I loved that she wanted to make sure she was super clear on exactly what I wanted. I showed her many different photos for reference on the size, shape, specific flowers, and colors I wanted Flash forward to the day before my wedding and my bouquet is SO beautiful and I just can’t believe it’s mine. I’m still so happy with the way it looked and how it just looked so great with my dress and in all of our photos. I can’t even imagine having an entire wedding done by her! We had a morning wedding in an arboretum, and Marisa arranged the most unique, beautiful pieces for us. She worked with us to create these two large arrangements at our altar that made our ceremony special. It’s hard to describe, but her arrangements are not cookie cutter, they’re just perfect, and you can’t get them anywhere else. I honestly just gave her a general idea of what we wanted, and she completely exceeded expectations of what I thought was possible. Thank you Marisa!

Marisa is a true artist, she created the most dreamy bouquet for our desert elopement. We had a great chat in advance to talk through the story of our engagement, wedding, the location, aesthetics, vibe and she shared some mood boards with me that were spot on. It felt collaborative in the best way possible, especially as a bride with a strong aesthetic vision who planned my wedding in three weeks! She quickly got a sense of what I wanted, asked me for specifics I might want and then presented me with options to choose from. The result absolutely exceeded my expectations, and included little details that she knew were meaningful to me, specifically some herbs that we discussed to remind us of our dog. She also gave me recommendations for pressing and drying particular flowers. I framed the pressed flowers and have the larger dried ones in a vase, it's a joy to continue to enjoy her creations as artwork in our home.

Marisa was so wonderful to work with. She was super easy to communicate with and very flexible. About a month away from our wedding date I had to change the center piece design to accommodate our family style dinner and she was amazing -- she was quick to provide me with other design options. She was also very willing to work within my budget which was a huge plus. The best part about working with Marisa was her talent and skill. The flowers came out amazing! My husband and I were so thrilled with her arrangements, bouquets, boutonnieres, EVERYTHING WAS LOVELY! Even my guests couldn't stop raving about the arrangements! I heard everything from "lovely" "beautiful" "romantic" "sweet" "perfect" ...the list goes on and on! I highly highly highly HIGHLY recommend booking Flores de Bosquez as your florist. You won't be disappointed!

If you want Vogue Weddings level insane sophistication and beauty for your flowers, I can’t recommend Flores de Bosquez enough. Marisa (the owner) has a taste level and dedication that one rarely sees from artists in the service sector and the kindest personality to boot. Always quick to respond to questions and/or spec adjustments via email and phone, I found working with her seamless and easy. I told Marisa that I could have gotten married in a garbage can and it wouldn’t have mattered because her flowers were so on point. She completely understood my obscenely vague vision (“Flemish painting!!”) without a lot of specifics or direction and ran with it and the results were simply insane beauty in every corner. When the wedding day came (05.13.18), I knew that out of the all the vendors I had the least to worry about with the flowers, and rightly so; when I arrived I was simply blown away by the elegance of the table arrangements, and all the special touches placed across the entire reception. The bouquet straight up made me feel like I was in a bride editorial - you better believe I didn’t throw it to any undeserving bridesmaids and selfishly have it drying in my garage today! Hire her!

I got married on Independence Day and wanted an arrangement that reflected the vibrance and spontaneity of a firework show. This woman right here contributed so much to my wedding. We got married August 5th 2017 at the El Rey Theater in Los Angeles. She went above and beyond her role as florist and has such an enormous heart. Her organized method of creative collaboration will give you incredible confidence and peace of mind. Her experience in floral shows and her mind is a creative wonderland. I love how she interpreted my ideas and brought them to reality while working within my budget. She is very straight forward and will tell you if something isn't going to work but then follows up with a solution that will. Her flowers made my dreams come true and made my photos come to life. She was able to make big statements in my large venue while still working with my zany concept. Marisa is brilliant to work with! She arranged flowers for my baby shower and did the most amazing job. I would highly recommend Marisa if you want funky, unusual flowers with a classic touch.
