My husband and I got engaged in July 2023 and as soon as we toured The Hellenic Center we fell in love with the spacious back lawn and gorgeous mansion for our elegant garden wedding. Our wedding was on August 16, 2024 and it was perfect from start to finish. Our day of coordinator, Stacey, was wonderful to work with and was very attentive! From stocking the bridal and grooms getting ready suite with our favorite drinks, handing out our vendor tips, and helping with the flow of the evening, everything was smooth! The staff were so friendly and the food was delicious! We loved our outdoor ceremony, indoor cocktail hour that lead nicely to our tented reception outside under the stars. The grounds of the venue are beautiful and a summer wedding here is breathtaking! Stacey even helped break down our decor and kept everything organized throughout the entire night. We highly recommend The Hellenic Center team, Stacey and Kelsey are extremely knowledgable and made the planning process very enjoyable. They are a dream to work with!

Our wedding at Floriana was truly a dream come true. From the moment we stepped into the venue, we felt an overwhelming sense of joy and peace. The mansion, grounds, and tent were magical, with every corner of Floriana giving off beauty and elegance. It felt like we were in a storybook. What made our experience even more special was the incredible team at Floriana. They treated us like family, making sure every detail was perfect and that we felt supported and cherished. Their warmth and professionalism made the entire day stress-free, allowing us to focus on each other and our loved ones. Kelsey really made the planning process and day run so smoothly! The food was exquisite, and our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was. Every moment at Floriana was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. We just got married at Floriana a few weeks ago and it was the most perfect day! Besides the beautiful mansion and grounds, Kelsey was so incredibly helpful in everything leading up to the wedding and we really knew we were in good hands. She answered any and all of my questions, concerns, and was also a great resource for nearby vendors and such. Kelsey and her team made my vision come to life, and I felt confident that the day would be just as I imagined. They did a lot of work to upgrade the bridal and grooms suites since we first toured, and the spaces were so ideal for getting ready. Vinwood's food was fantastic, our guests were all raving about the food, and the bartenders and serving staff were all so lovely. The customer service is the highlight of this venue and made it feel very personal and approachable. It was the perfect wedding weekend and we couldn't be happier!

Our wedding day at Floriana was absolutely SPECTACULAR. From starting the planning process with our coordinators, to finishing our day, the process was absolutely seamless and we could not ask for a better team than the ones at Floriana to depend on during one of the most important day of our lives. The quality of service from the catering staff, to the bartenders, to our day of coordinators were top tier. Our wedding coordinator, Kelsey, was extremely experienced and executed every detail on our day perfectly. She made the pre-planning process completely stress free for us and her attention to detail was flawless. Not to mention, this is the most stunning venue on the northshore. The options are absolutely endless. Rain or shine, Floriana gives you the best of both worlds with its stunning mansion, beautiful gardens, or outdoor tent. The New England weather is never dependable, but the team made sure we had back up options ready to go (though we had the most perfect weather you could ask for). Floriana was the absolute venue of our dreams and we could not feel more fulfilled that we got the absolute most value out of this venue and team. We would absolutely recommend you check out this venue. They will not disappoint! So thank you Floriana, for your stellar service and giving us a day of perfection!

I had a very special night celebrating my elopement inside the Floriana mansion. It was a very smooth and easy process planning a party of 100 guests. I couldn't recommend this venue enough; the entire staff was kind and professional.

We had a beautiful wedding at the Mansion at the Hellenic Center in the fall of 2023. The Hellenic Center boasts a variety of gorgeous photo spots, multiple beautiful ceremony locations, and lovely bridal/groomsmen suites. However, there are a few drawbacks to choosing this venue that we wish we knew before moving forward. The drawbacks fall into three major categories: (1) Communication with venue operators, (2) Venue accessibility and (3) On-site time allotment. (1) Communication with venue operators. The venue is operated by an event planning company called Mavinhouse Events. When we were touring the venue and booking our date, they were communicative and helpful, accommodating multiple tours and answering questions about the space. Once our date was booked however, we struggled to get responses from them on pertinent information for our planning process. We were specifically dissatisfied that we were told before we paid our deposit that we could have our rehearsal at the venue the evening before our wedding, but when it came time to book the rehearsal, we were told that noon was the only time slot available because the venue coordinator had a conflict that evening. This threw a wrench in our rehearsal dinner plans. Once we were a month out from my date, we exclusively worked with Dana Sayers who offered her expertise on details we weren’t sure of and accommodated special requests such as a pinata at our cocktail hour, but we often felt like we were “bothering” her with our event, and we were unhappy with her treatment of our day-of coordinator. (2) Venue accessibility. Ipswich is convenient to travel to for guests local to Boston and the surrounding towns/cities such as Beverly, but we struggled to find nearby accommodations that were both affordable and large enough for our guest count and because most of Ipswich shuts down after 10PM, there were few options for after party locations. Plus, it's impossible to get a rideshare in Ipswich late at night. We ended up staying at the pricey Briar Barn Inn (book ASAP as they have a lot of on-site weddings that take the room blocks) and arranged transportation to an afterparty in Beverly. Also, on the topic of accessibility, the grounds are NOT accessible for elderly guests. My 97 year old grandmother had a very hard time navigating to my ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception with her walker. (3) On-site time allotment. The Hellenic Center was extremely strict about time allotted on-site, which severely impacted our day. We could not arrive on-site until 1:30 PM, which means we could not get ready in the bridal suite. Because of this timing, our photos were rushed, so we felt like we couldn’t take full advantage of the beautiful grounds. Further, vendors can’t arrive until 2.5 hours before the ceremony, which caused a huge rush that resulted in missing decor and guests arriving before everything was set up. You can pay to extend your time on-site, but it costs $500 per 30 minutes, which is unaffordable for someone paying for their own wedding. These time restrictions were extremely difficult to manage and caused a lot of stress on our day. Even if we knew about the drawbacks detailed above, we still would have booked this venue, but we would have made some different decisions knowing what we know today. This was an absolute dream wedding venue. The mansion and the grounds are absolutely stunning. And the team is amazing – we loved working with Sue as our day of coordinator. The Hellenic Center offers so much flexibility. We took great comfort in knowing that in case of bad weather, there were alternative options like the tent for the cocktail hour. We also had a big wedding (200 guests) which the Hellenic center could easily accommodate. Everything ran super smoothly and all of our guests had a fabulous time. We feel so lucky to have found the Hellenic Center!

We got married at the Hellenic Center in August and we could not have imagined a more perfect day! We went to a wedding here about 6 or 7 years ago, so when we looking at venues we knew we had to check it out. At the time when we made the decision that the Hellenic Center was going to be the place where we tied the knot we met with Deb who does not work there anymore. When we heard that Deb was no longer at the Hellenic Center and it was a new management team we were a little nervous, but the new management team was phenomenal to work with and the entire management change was so smooth. We had the pleasure of working with Sue who was absolutely incredible to work with. She was so easy to work with and communicated so well and so quickly. She truly helped make our day perfect, stress-free, and helped to make it flow with ease! She understood our ideas and decorative ideas, she gave us suggestions along the way, and she was so organized. The Hellenic center is such a beautiful mansion and the grounds are very well-kept up with. We had so many guests tell us that we picked a perfect wedding venue, and we could not agree more! The bridal suites are perfect and offer enough space for large bridal parties. We are so happy that we picked the Hellenic Center!!!

Our wedding at the Hellenic Mansion was an absolute dream. We were married in August on the perfect day and were able to be outside in the tent. It was everything I imagined and so flawlessly coordinated. We did work with an outside planner but the event coordinators were fantastic - very communicative, helpful, and lovely. They were on top of any potential weather/rain plan, helped ease my anxiety about decisions to be made, and made the wedding planning process so fun. We worked with Maggie who helped everything move seamlessly throughout the day. It was honestly the most perfect day at the most perfect venue.

I am so happy we picked this venue for our wedding. It is such a hidden gem! Literally, you might miss it from the road as it is tucked away in the beautiful town of Ipswich. This venue is so beautiful and so affordable for what it is. You don't need lots of decor because the venue is beautiful in itself! There are countless spots for photos and options for ceremony/reception location. The whole wedding planning process was a breeze. We worked with Ashley, who was the best! She was always happy to answer our many questions and was very organized. We loved having in person planning sessions with her. On our actual wedding day, she was so helpful with keeping things running smoothly. It DOWN POURED during our reception and Ashley was calm and decisive during it. I will never forget seeing her soaked as she worked to put the tent siding down to protect our guests from rain. If she was stressed it wasn't apparent to us or our guests. Thank you so much, Ashley, for rolling with the craziness of the weather and keeping calm for us. It was the most perfect day and we couldn't recommend this venue more!

The Hellenic Center was the perfect place for our wedding, the grounds are beautiful and offer so many locations for photos (and ceremonies!), the bridal suite and grooms suite are the perfect place to relax and get ready before the wedding, and the interior ballroom is beautiful. A couple months before our wedding we were informed of a change in management which was a little stressful to hear but we ended up working with Dana and we could not have been happier, she was phenomenal to work with. She made sure all of our decorations were set up beautifully and that the day ran smoothly. Our wedding day also brought pouring rain (which cleared up and we were able to have our outdoor ceremony in the garden!) and Dana was in contact with me as soon she arrived at the venue to let me know how the grounds looked. I can honestly say I was not stressed at all and our wedding day went perfectly. We can't recommend the Hellenic Center enough!

We stumbled upon our wedding venue unexpectedly and were blown away by the grounds. We felt at ease working with this venue as everything was very organized, no hidden fees and contracts were clearly laid out. A few months before our wedding date there was a management switch, however, the new team led by Maggie, did a phenomenal job from our first touch base through the wedding day. We cannot say enough amazing things about Maggie and her attention to detail. Our wedding night was flawless; we are so grateful we got to work with such an amazing team. We cannot recommend this venue enough, for a perfect wedding and stress free night!

If you are looking for your wedding venue, look no further than The Hellenic Center. It is the most stunning, whimsical mansion on the north shore. As soon as we walked in during our first tour, we were blown away by how beautiful the grounds are. There are so many great places for photos as well as different areas for your ceremony. From the large oak tree outside, the garden/veranda, and the beautiful interior, you truly cannot go wrong. The venue is easily accessible but still feels tucked away and private. Midway through our wedding planning process there was a management switch but the new team that came in did a great job taking over and making sure everything went smoothly (and on time!) We are so grateful for the team there and what went into making our wedding the most perfect day. We cannot recommend this venue enough!

We recently got married at the Mansion at the Hellenic Center (June), and still can’t get over how amazing it was (and our guests are still talking about it too)! 
I’ll be as concise as possible. Overall if you want a venue all to yourselves with privacy, the ability to get ready onsite in lovely suites, gorgeous gardens and lush grounds, so many places for unique photos, a stunning mansion that looks impressive from all angles, and a versatile interior, I recommend touring the Mansion at the Hellenic Center. Deb was a true professional and answered all of my questions promptly, and had all the solutions to anything that came up. She was organized during the planning process and kept us on schedule throughout. Everything ran so smoothly and (despite being someone who stresses easily), I didn’t feel stressed at all on our wedding day and we enjoyed ourselves 100%. 
We toured many venues and there is something special about this one.

Beautiful Venue, great price and the best Director of Events, Deb! I researched a lot of wedding venues before deciding on this one. The location, the mansion, the grounds, the bridal suite, the beautiful pictures from other weddings, I knew I had to visit and this was the place for us. The day we toured, we signed our contract, it was the only place we toured but we knew it was our place. Deb was so amazing throughout the planning process, so helpful and organized. She accommodated our requests and every meeting with her gave us the confidence that our wedding day would be amazing. On the day of she was there to help coordinate everything and get our DIY stuff set up, she checked on us and everything ran so smoothly. Our wedding day was perfect, the venue was gorgeous, the weather was amazing and we couldn't have asked for a better place to get married. Seeing our sneak peak wedding pictures made me SO excited to see the rest and the gorgeous venue in the background is one of the reasons I chose this place. Highly recommend getting married here, it was the perfect wedding day!

Everything was perfect! We had the BEST day ever. Our wedding was beautiful and everything ran so smoothly. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue.

There are not enough words for to describe how amazing Deb was! From the moment we first reached out to schedule a tour to the day we got married, she was always professional. She was so helpful when it came to recommendations for a DJ, caterer, and anything else you can think of. Her expertise is very valued. Now the venue, beautiful inside and out. We had our wedding in April and our biggest requirement when picking a venue was we had to like both inside and outside options because we all know the weather is not promising in New England around that time of year. Any bride to be would be lucky to work with Deb and have her (their) special day at the Hellenic Center!

The Hellenic Center was the perfect venue for our wedding. We fell in love with the property the moment we saw it! It is well kept both inside and out. We were a COVID reschedule from September 2020 to September 2021. Deb was easy to work with and accommodating every step along the way! She was responsive and organized and put our minds at ease. Our wedding was everything we could have imagined and more! I would highly recommend this venue!

Even before getting engaged I always knew I wanted to get married at the Hellenic Center, but I was truly blown away at how perfect our wedding day was. Deb did such an amazing job with helping to coordinate everything exactly how we wanted it. With the Canadian border being closed, our guest count ended up being quite a bit different than originally planned, but she was so accommodating and helpful. She kept in touch throughout the months filled with uncertainty and really kept us both at ease. I couldn't recommend Deb and the Hellenic Center enough.

Our coordinator Deb is amazing and stays calm cool and collected during the entire process. She is truly a seasoned professional and made us feel at ease no matter what - even through postponing in the pandemic when no one really knew what was going on. The venue looked beautiful on the day of the wedding and the day couldn’t have gone more smoothly. Everyone on the team made sure our experience was top notch and that little extra care made our day even more special.

Deb was amazing and so accommodating ! My wedding was supposed to be in June 2020. Due to Covid, we had to postpone. I was so fortunate to be able to have a small NYE ceremony with my husband before our postponed party with family, both at the Hellenic. Deb was so wonderful with all communication and went out of her way to make sure our celebration was everything we wanted. I highly recommend!

Hellenic Center & Vinwood was a dream combination for our wedding. Our guests had an amazing time and the entire reception went exactly as we planned. The gorgeous grounds were perfect for our cocktail hour and photos, and the tent was beautiful for dinner & dancing. Our guests kept telling us how much they loved the venue! We had a previous venue cancel on us due to new ownership and we booked the Hellenic Center only two months in advance. Thankfully, Deb jumped in immediately and we felt so confident that she was on top of all of the details! Deb is a gem and surprised us with a bottle of rosé before we left for the night. We can't thank her enough.

Deb is amazing!! Even when we weren’t sure how our wedding was going to be with covid happening, she was always communicating and trying to give us the day we always imagined!! I’m so happy that we chose The Hellenic Center as our reception! Our wedding was everything we imagined and more. All night we kept receiving compliments on how beautiful and perfect the venue was, and I can’t thank Deb enough for that!

We choose the Hellenic Center because of its beauty and because of their events director, Deb. We would not have been able to pull the wedding off without her. The weather turned out to be cold and rainy and we needed to change our entire plan last minute and she made that possible. I would recommend to anyone looking to get married on the northshore to get married here! Thanks Deb!

We got married at the Hellenic Center just 3 weeks ago- in the midst of the chaos of changing covid restrictions, both the Hellenic Center and Vinwood caterers were so wonderful! We had to have our wedding outside under the tent they set up, which I was originally sad about but in the end it was absolutely perfect and we wouldn't have changed a thing. Deb is a superhero in regular clothes- she went above and beyond both in the planning process and on our actual wedding day. I would tell anyone to get married here!

We got married at The Hellenic Center this past February. My husband and I fell instantly in love with the entire venue when we toured it for the first time. It was everything we wanted and more! Even though our assigned coordinator changed midstream, it was a seamless change. Deb was our day of coordinator and she was awesome! She was so easy going. She answered all my questions and really put me at ease. They have great off season pricing and the mansion was a perfect setting for our winter wedding!

We went to a wedding for my cousin here years ago and it was simply gorgeous. The outdoor cocktail hour is amazing. We considered this venue for our own wedding but ultimately went in a different direction. However, Deb, the Events Manager was so helpful, flexible and had so many great ideas I still felt inclined to write a positive review for this venue.

The Hellenic Center was amazing for our wedding, unfortunately the weather did not cooperate so our ceremony had to be moved from the Oak Tree out in the gardens to inside, but the ceremony looked great and the transition to the reception was seamless! The venue was affordable and the grounds are absolutely beautiful.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about my experience with the Hellenic Center and Deb specifically. Due to a date constraint we were not able to have the wedding reception here. However, the entire process of contacting the vendor, emails and phone calls back and forth and touring the venue went on without any issues. Deb is SO flexible and made an exception on her day off to show us the venue for a second time. Everything seemed effortless. I highly recommend the Hellenic center! It is absolutely beautiful, timeless and the staff are amazing!

We got married back in August. Admittedly, there was a lot of turnover during our planning, however Deb (the woman who has since taken over) seems to be awesome and very on top of everything. Day of, the venue was even more beautiful than we thought it would be. We liked how many options of ceremony location there was and also that the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were all in different locations. We are so happy we picked the Hellenic Center!

If I knew the events that happened leading up to my wedding, would’ve happened, I would have never gone forward with the Hellenic Center. I gave them 2 stars because through all the chaos in having 3 different wedding coordinators, Deb did accommodate us...however I was reminded that this is not how it goes and they were doing us a favor and to not advertise that this was previously promised to us. It was uncomfortable to be quite honest. I expressed my gratitude for them accommodating but it’s not my fault that there was a change in management. To start, we worked with Tamie. I moved forward with The Hellenic Center because of her longevity with the venue. After seeing Tamie in action when a wedding took place, I knew she’d do everything in her power to make sure my day was perfect for us. I one day emailed Tamie only to get an auto-response from someone new, Linda. She was terrible. After a month or so of dealing with Linda, we got another coordinator about 2/3 months before our wedding day. Things were fine up until the day before and day of the wedding. When I showed up with all my stuff, Deb was asking me where everything should go. When I originally spoke with Tamie she said she’d take care of all the decorating unless I specifically wanted something somewhere. I told her I wanted ALL the mantels decorated with the candles, along with the signs put out that I bought. I had also asked that the 4 long tables have many candles on them. The day of the wedding, I arrived to 4 bare tables, without candles and one bare mantel. I even had guests tell me it was a missed opportunity not to decorate that mantel. Not only did I come back to find that the lack in decorations but my cocktail hour was all over the place. The cocktail hour was supposed to be outdoors. It had rained that day but stopped by the time we got there. My guestbook, seating arrangement and card box were outside while the hor d’oeuvres were served inside. There was ZERO direction for guests when they arrived. Some just walked in the front door, some walked around the side, no one knew where to go until our best man jumped out of point guests in the right direction. Because most walked in through the front door, they didn’t get a chance to see our guestbook. With 167 guests we only ended up with 15 messages. Guests couldn’t find where they were sitting because the cocktail hour was inside while my cardbox and seating chart was outside. Most guests were confused on where they were sitting because again, there was 0 direction and the logic of having the seating chart outside while everything else was inside didn’t dawn upon our guests. There was zero supervision on the cardbox. Guests searched for my mom to let her know the box was full and it had to be emptied out. My mom connected with Deb on this she said she’d put the cards in her locked office. We had some guests arrive late and they had cards they gave us, we couldn’t find Deb but when we tried to get into her office we did so without a problem, it wasn’t locked and we came to cards all over her office. We are also missing a handful of cards to this day. It could very well be that guests came without gifts but my immediate thought is that it was probably lost somewhere in the office since there were cards scattered around the office. All in all, we were disappointed with our experience. One thing I can say, is that we partnered with Vinwood through the Hellenic Center and the food was AMAZING! Guests raved about it.

Deb was amazing!! I love working with venues that really stay true to their word and are all about making the couple happy. There are so many venues in this area where they aren't flexible and never adapt to a couple's dream. The Hellenic Center goes above and beyond!!! Love the unique spaces for ceremony and cocktail hour. The bridal suite is beautiful!!! LOVE!

We just had our wedding at The Hellenic Center and the entire day was incredible. We experienced first hand their attention to detail, responsiveness, and talent. The event coordinator was changed during our wedding planning process which was initially unnerving but Deb stepped in and made our experience seamless, taking care of our every request and need with professionalism. If you are looking for an elegant Northshore wedding venue, look no further than this beautiful estate.

We had a beautiful wedding here. Everything was perfect, however the wedding planner we originally met with left and we were notified by email 2 weeks before the wedding. It was very disorganized when we had a final meeting. The day of was somewhat frustrating when I was being asked where things should be placed. The coordinator should know. There were some other mishaps, but than that things went fine.

This wedding venue was the perfect place! The location is beautiful and all the staff is so helpful! Tamie was great at communicating with us through the entire wedding process. We had absolutely no wedding stress and they worked great with our vendors. Highly Highly recommend for a stress free wedding.

Our wedding at the Hellenic Center was better than we ever dreamed of. Tamie and Marisa were extremely helpful throughout the planning process, answering my emails promptly and always providing great advice and direction, and always making time for a phone call if need be. The staff on the day of were phenomenal. The grounds are stunning and perfect for any number of ceremony options brides may be looking for. In our case, the mansion provided the perfect backdrop for our autumn wedding. The ballroom is similarly stunning and was the perfect place for a blast of a party. We had a few special requests for the reception that were accommodated with ease. We are absolutely thrilled with our experience with the Hellenic Center and would recommend the venue to anyone.

I booked here for my ceremony and reception on 7 October 2018 and it was everything I could have hoped for in my wedding. Tamie was very organized, easy to contact, and really knows what she is doing. I was not the most particular bride ever and didn't have a bunch of cute pinteresty details planned for the wedding and Tamie just filled in all the missing pieces. They were absolutely perfect the day of the wedding in making sure that everything went without hiccups. It sprinkled about 10 minutes prior to our outdoor ceremony and Tamie was able to let me wait until the ABSOLUTE last second to make the decision to have it outside at the oak tree. It ended up being perfect and I'm so happy they were so flexible. The venue was incredible and a dream come true. I highly recommend booking here if you have the opportunity.

We had the most amazing experience at the Hellenic Center! From the beautiful venue and grounds to the spectacular service. It was everything I could have dreamed of and more. The venue comes with the most amazing wedding planner, Tamie who made being a bride easy. She has so many years of experience and can tackle any issue that may come her way. I really enjoyed meeting with her and getting her bridal advice throughout the wedding process. I could not thank her enough for making my wedding day so amazing and memorable with no issues. I am sad it is over but so thankful for the fabulous experience! I would refer any future bridal to this venue.

The Hellenic Center was absolutely stunning at the right price! I feel like I didn’t need to buy many decorations because of the true beauty of this location. Tammie was an absolute peach and was very responsive to my emails which was very helpful and eased my stress with all of my wedding planning! I knew the minute I walked in that this was my dream wedding venue!

We had the most beautiful wedding at the Hellenic Center this past July. The venue is gorgeous, spacious, and classy, and the greenery in the summer looked so gorgeous in photos. We had around 208 guests and I was worried about it feeling crowded in the reception, but it was perfect. Most of all, the wedding coordinator Tammy was absolutely incredible. She answered all of our questions, made great recommendations, honored our wishes, and the day of was an absolute ROCK STAR. I really mean it; Tammy made our wedding go off without a single hitch, which left me with nothing to do but enjoy my day worry-free!

I can’t say enough about this venue and the people that work there. We got married in June, the grounds were well kept and Tamie made sure everything was perfect. I loved getting ready in the bridal suite and it made for awesome photos when we were getting ready. The staff were very accommodating and always there to help with whatever we needed or wanted. They truly make it a one of a kind experience for you. I also love how private the venue is, it’s surrounded by acres of greenery, and you get the mansion to yourself. Tamie is very organized and keeps you on track throughout the entire process!

We just got married a few weeks ago, but I can not recommend The Hellenic Center more. It is so beautiful on its own, you don't need to do much. Tamie is amazing and is a great asset to your day. She was there the whole night and kept everything running smoothly. Tamie was always available via phone or email. The months spent planning was easier with her on your side. I especially loved the bridal suite to get ready in. There was a lot of light and it was a great place for me and my bridesmaids to get ready in.

We had our dream wedding at the Hellenic Center this past April - we couldn’t have asked for a more incredible venue. The mansion is so well taken care of, provides a beautiful backdrop for photos and looks way more expensive than it actually is. As stunning as the mansion is, What impressed us the most was the service we received from Tamie. Tamie is so patient, creative and organized - she really knows her stuff. My florist forgot to bring flowers for our wedding cake. Tamie didn’t miss a beat and trimmed some flowers off of our ceremony decorations and arranged them on our cake during cocktail hour - none of our guests even noticed the mishap. Highly recommend Tamie and the Hellenic Center! Thanks for everything!

My husband and I got married on April 28, and with major thanks to Tamie and the staff here at the Hellenic Center our day was absolutely perfect. Tamie was amazing and helpful throughout the entire process, and was present and available throughout the day of. The grounds were absolutely amazing - inside and outside of the venue was breathtaking. They truly helped us have a fairytale wedding. If I could give over five stars, I would. Unbelievable to work with! Just wonderful.

Our October wedding at The Hellenic Center was everything we had dreamed about. The grounds are beautiful and our wedding guests loved the romantic feel of the mansion. We especially loved working with Tamie who made sure EVERY request was met and mirrored my appreciation for small details. She offered advice when we were selecting vendors and helped me plan remotely. We're so happy we chose Tamie and The Hellenic Center! Thank you for everything!

How can I begin? From the moment we stepped onto the property, we knew it was the place for us. Even the drive down the winding driveway lined with trees was magical. Then we met Tamie and it sealed the deal! She is so kind and easy going. She made us feel comfortable about the entire process and offered great ideas, many of which we used! She is also very flexible and worked with my husband and I to make our vision come to life. The property is extremely well cared for. My girls and I got ready the morning of, and the bridal suit was perfect! Enough room for 9 of us to comfortably get ready and relax, plus my makeup artist and 2 hair stylists! The gardens are beautiful and very well manicured. We held our ceremony under the large tree, and it was perfect. The dining room is a fantastic setting for a beautiful evening of dining and dancing! My guests are still complimenting the venue. As much as a beautiful setting can make a wedding, it is truly the behind the scenes coordination that ties everything together. Tamie worked so wonderfully with my wedding planner to ensure the day ran smoothly. She also has a great relationship with the caterers (Vinwood Catering), so everything was done exactly as I hoped. It was raining the entire morning of my wedding day, and I went through all of the options of our rain plan before finally making a decision. Tamie was calm and relaxed through it all, which helped me also stay calm. If there were any issues the day of, I had absolutely no idea. From my point of view, everything was more than perfect! Overall, The Hellenic Center is an amazing venue with wonderful staff who helped to make my wedding the best day of my life. I highly recommend this wedding venue to anyone out there still searching for that perfect place!

The Hellenic Center checked all the boxes for us: a lovely outdoor space for the ceremony and cocktail hour, beautiful bride and groom suites, a mansion/vintage style, and a reasonable price tag. We toured about 12 venues and The Hellenic Center was our top choice by far. Tamie is so nice and easy to work with and has many years of experience. She gave us some great decor and logistical suggestions that we ended up using for the wedding. Since she’s basically a one-woman show at The Hellenic Center, it can be tough to get ahold of her at times. However, if something was very time-sensitive I was always able to reach her by text. We appreciated how our rental was for the ENTIRE day. Someone let us into the building early in the morning and we were able to hang out all day doing hair and makeup. I know some other venues won’t let you in until a few hours ahead of time. Being there all day made me feel much more relaxed and in control of the day. On the day of the wedding, a different woman named Mackenzie showed up to coordinate instead of Tamie. We were disappointed that Tamie didn’t contact us to say that she wasn’t going to be there. Mackenzie was very nice and professional, but since she wasn’t involved in any of the planning discussions there were some lapses in communication (as might be expected). For example, she walked up to my MOH during the ceremony and told her to take my bouquet when we had intentionally planned for me to keep the bouquet. Also, she was trying to direct my wedding party to do their entrances in a different location than we had planned. Overall nothing major however. All in all, we had a great experience and would recommend The Hellenic Center, especially if you are looking for an outdoor ceremony.

My husband and I got married in July 2017. Tammie was awesome! She was there for every step of the planning process and every minute of the wedding day. We couldn't have asked for her to be any more attentive. She treated our day as if it were her family. The grounds were phenomenal as was the mansion. We HIGHLY recommend this venue - you'll get the best of both worlds, exterior and interior party!

The Hellenic Center was the most beautiful venue and we couldn't have imagined anything more perfect. The wedding coordinator, Tamie saved the day on numerous occasions. She was so calm and helpful! We couldn't have done it without her!!

The Hellenic Center was the person venue for our wedding. The grounds are beautifully kept and the inside is stunning with chandeliers, pianos and hardwood floors. Tamie the coordinator was wonderful and makes planning so simple. Our wedding was actually the first wedding we both have ever been to so we had no clue what we were doing but Tamie made sure everything ame together effortlessly. We got married under the big oak tree with coctail hour behind the mansion and reception to follow inside the mansion. The bridal suite is elegant and perfect for getting ready in. We went with Vinwood( 1 of 3 caterers you have to choose) and everyone raved about the food! I highly recommend the Hellenic Center for your wedding venue or any other special event 💕

We knew from the moment we walked through the front doors of the mansion that the Hellenic Center is where we wanted to get married. There was absolutely no comparison to the gorgeous ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows, the beautiful, spacious bridal suite and the expansive, well-maintained grounds. We didn’t think there was anything that could make the venue more appealing, but then we met Tamie. During our first visit she made us feel so comfortable and explained everything we needed to know to make our decision. We didn’t leave with any unanswered questions. Over the months leading up to our wedding day, she guided us with her knowledge and patience, helping us plan the perfect day that she then made a reality on July 15th. On the day of our wedding, we were stress-free knowing the setup and timeline were in her hands. Thank you Tamie and the Hellenic Center for making our dream wedding come true!!

I can't thank Tammie enough for helping me make my dream wedding come true! My wedding guest keep taking about how beautiful this hidden mansion was! Tammie knows everything that you need help with. I had no idea where to begin when planning my wedding and she helped me figure out anything i was confused about! The grounds of the Hellenic center are so beautiful, such a elegant, classy venue. If you are looking for hidden GEM THE Hellenic Center is your venue. My wedding went off with out a hitch I simply had the perfect day and I owe that to Tammie and Timothy Hopkins catering and all the staff. I could not be more happy with everything.

My husband and I are so happy we chose the Hellenic Center for our wedding. We had our heart set on a city wedding in a hotel, but when we found the Hellenic Center, the space blew us away. The open space is so easy to convert into anything you like. Since we went with the open concept we were able to bring in pipe & drape, outside table cloths, and more decorations than we would have elsewhere. The space also allows you many options. We had our ceremony outside, but when the weather started to look iffy, we had a tent brought in. There were so many different plans for the day and ended up being able to use the outside space for our ceremony but also use the tent space (side of the building) for our cocktail hour. The entire property is extremely well kept and beautiful. Tamie is wonderful and very attentive. If anything, you can tell she has done this for many years and the center does many many weddings a year. Sometimes it is difficult to get in contact with Tamie, but she also answered our questions and did everything we needed and more. We are so happy we had our wedding where we did and wouldn't change a thing!

This is a lovely location. The backyard is stunning. We got married under the giant oak tree. It was a little unfortunate that there had been a drought, and Ipswich had a "no watering" rule, so everything wasn't as green as it could have been, but it was still beautiful. On the day of the event, it felt like I didn't have to worry about any of the details. The staff at the Hellenic Center were professional and helpful. The bridal suite was a little warm, but they provided fans for us, which helped.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Hellenic Center this past October. The whole day was magical. The space is clean and well kept and although the weather did not cooperate for an outdoor cocktail hour, the property still looked beautiful in the rain. They do a great job with the landscaping and fall is a perfect time to be married at the Hellenic Center. We worked with Vinwood Caterers who did a fabulous job, from our first meeting to our final prep call, and made sure the day went very smoothly. The bridal suite is perfect to get ready in and spacious if you also use the groomsmen room for hair and makeup. The Hellenic Center has a very romantic feel with a beautiful bar and chandeliers. There are hardwood floors and the walls are painted neutrally so it is easy to dress-up the space to fit the style of any wedding. We had a large number of quests, a little over 200, a 7 piece band, as well as, food stations and managed to fit comfortably in the space. The only negative aspect of our experience was that it was often difficult to reach the event coordinator, Tamie, via phone or email. This led to multiple follow ups, confusion with our specific wedding day plans and an overbooked final prep meeting. It appeared to me that the Hellenic Center was very understaffed relative to the number of weddings they put on each weekend. Although disappointed in that particular aspect of the process, I would still recommend the Hellenic Center to any bride who is organized and willing to take charge!

We got married this past weekend. We worked closely with Tamie throughout the whole planning process. She was great to work with, answered any and all questions and allowed us to come to the venue whenever we needed. Although Tamie was sick for our wedding, her staff, Mackenzie and Erin, ran things extremely smoothly the day of. They checked in on me that morning, consulted with me during set up, and helped the other vendors throughout the night. As a bride, I felt heard and helped all day and night. Tamie and her staff are amazing. The Hellenic Center made for a beautiful venue for our fall wedding and we couldn't be happier. Our guests have continued to rave about the venue and how great the wedding was. Thank you to all who took part in making our day perfect!

My husband and I got married at the Hellenic Center in June and could not have been happier with our choice of venue. The building and property are gorgeous, and you get a lot of flexibility in choosing the ceremony location and type of decorations. Moreover, Tamie, the event coordinator, was amazing! Not only was she very helpful in the planning phase, but she made sure everything went flawlessly during the wedding. We had planned for an outdoor ceremony, but it was raining on and off on our wedding day. I was convinced that we would have to decide hours before the ceremony whether or not to bring it indoors due to set up, but there was no pressure from Tamie to make a final decision. In fact, we were able to decide just a few minutes before the ceremony start time to keep the ceremony outdoors! I don't think there are many venues that provide that amount of flexibility; it was so appreciated because we were able to have the ceremony just as we had planned.

Just had my October 9th wedding here and it was amazing!! Unfortunately we had hurricane Matthew rain out what was supposed to be our outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour. I was a little nervous about plan B but Tamie and her staff made the transition to Plan B seamless. Several people spoke to me after the event saying they couldn't believe it was supposed to be outside because everything inside was organized perfectly! Everything looked gorgeous and the transitions from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception were seamless. The setup of guest books etc also had to change but again it was totally stress free and gorgeous thanks to Tamie and the staff! My whole bridal party was also allowed to get into the Hellenic center at 8am to start on hair make up etc all on site which was extremely helpful in the flow of the day! I had the time of my life the day of my wedding and everyone was extremely accomodating making sure myself and my now husband as well as wedding party and guests had food in our bellies and drinks in our hand! I would highly recommend Tamie and the Hellenic Center for your event!
