We did a small cake for just our sweetheart table and Amanda nailed it! We wanted simple and elegant, and she did just that! The tasting was amazing too! We tried several flavors! ...
We will definitely be ordering again for fun occasions.
We did the tasting as well as purchased a small cake from her for our wedding! So delicious. 10/10 would recommend for anyone!
With my wife having a food sensitivity to eggs, we were having the hardest time finding a solution for a wedding cake that she could actually eat. Amanda came highly recommended by...
my wife's vegan friend, who swore that nobody would even notice (or care) that the cake was vegan after they tasted it. Well, that friend was totally right. After our tasting, we briefly discussed my wife putting on a mustache and pretending to be somebody else so that we could get TWO tastings. We still have wedding guests randomly mentioning to us how much they loved the cupcakes we served, and people were honestly shocked that vegan baked goods could taste so delicious.
You really can't go wrong with any flavor - almond amaretto and pistachio buttercream were our personal favorites, and there were zero leftovers of either flavor. As for Amanda herself, she was great to work with. We gave her a basic idea of what we were looking for with our minimalist, rustic small cake design and she delivered exactly what we envisioned. She also made a couple specialty custom cupcake toppers for us that were a huge hit (they were gone so fast that I didn't get a chance to snap a picture!).
Thanks so much for being a part of making our wedding such a success!
Amanda was so great to work with! We used her services for our wedding because my husband and I are vegan. I wanted to show our guests that vegan food is just as good (in my opinio...
n better) as cakes with dairy. I can confidently say that our guests were so shocked to find out it was completely vegan. not only does the cake taste AMAZING, but she nailed the look of the cake we were going for. She is so sweet to work with, and the process from start to finish was so easy. I highly recommend using Florine's Flour Shoppee for all your baked good needs, vegan or not!!
I was looking for a vegan bakery to make my wedding cake. Florine's Flour Shoppe was highly recommended so we did a tasting and we are SO impressed. During our 3+ year engagement ...
we placed a few orders of cupcakes/cakes because we love Amanda's cakes and we didn't want to wait until our wedding day!
Amanda was super easy to work with and she was really helpful during the planning process. I gave her a basic idea of what I was thinking but gave her the freedom to be creative. It was really fun to see what she came up with on the day of the wedding. Our 3-tier cake was beautiful and classic, but colorful and fun!! We absolutely LOVED it!!
We hosted a vegan wedding. My husband and I were the only vegans. I felt a little bit of pressure to make sure everything we served was amazing as it was likely the first all-vegan meal most of our guests had every had. Amanda knocked it out of the park because our guests devoured our entire cake, it was gone at the end of the night.
I would hire Florine's Flour Shoppe over and over again for my wedding!! 10/10 recommend!!
I’m eating a leftover slice of our INCREDIBLE wedding cake as I write this review (for research and descriptive writing purposes, of course!)
Our wedding cake was the most delicio...
us cake I have ever had in my entire life. We got the Almond amaretto flavor and it was amazing. I’m vegan, and was looking everywhere for a small but beautiful vegan cake for my husband and I to cut during our wedding. Someone recommended Florine’s Flour Shoppe to me and I’m SO glad they did.
Amanda was so kind, helpful, and easy to work with! She made us the perfect, most beautiful cake with very little direction from me, and seeing it on my wedding day honestly shocked me - I kept saying to my bridesmaids, “can you believe that’s my cake? Isn’t that the most beautiful cake ever?!” For how delicious and gorgeous the cake was, and how easy Amanda was to work with, I thought the pricing was extremely fair.
We’ll definitely be using Florine’s Flour Shoppe any times in the future when we need cake!
Amanda was fantastic to work with and does a phenomenal job both with the design and flavor of the cake. I highly recommend her to all my friends and family.
"Best cupcake I have ever tasted" were my now husband's first words after taking his first bite of the strawberry crunch cupcake. Coming from an avid dessert lover, who like's his...
animal products, truly made me smile and I have to agree, the baked goods are AMAZING. The cake and accompanying cupcakes were a major hit at our wedding which was full of people who may not have tried vegan food otherwise. My husband took distinct pleasure waiting until people were ooohing, ahhing, and yumming, elbow deep in crumbs and frosting before announcing to everyone what they were eating was 100% vegan. I was told during clean up there were quite a few people trying to run off with what was left. (we had a very small wedding but still ordered 4 types of cupcakes along with our cookie dough cake ensuring we would have leftovers to take home) I highly recommend Florine's Flour Shoppe for your event!
Amanda absolutely blew us away with our cake and cupcakes for our wedding! She is so sweet and easy to work with, and our guests could not get over how delicious her vegan cupcakes...
were!! She’s the best!!!
My husband and I hired Amanda to do our wedding cake and are so so happy we did! We wanted a Red Velvet painted floral buttercream cake and she knocked it out of the park! I seriou...
sly couldn’t/cant get over how beautiful it was. Annnnnd, it was Vegan! My non vegan family and friends were blown away by the fact. Highly recommend booking with Florines 😍
Amanda’s cakes are amazing! She made a Chiefs themed cake for my son’s birthday and has been my go-to ever since. My family and I are not vegan, but you don’t have to be to enjoy h...
er desserts. They’re delish! I’m not a big cake person, but her funfetti cake is literally the best thing I’ve ever had. Not only is her product 5 star, the service is great as well. She’s always quick to respond and on time for delivery/pick up. I highly recommend her for all your cake/dessert needs. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
First off - our wedding cake was the most delicious, soft, moist cake that I’ve ever had. The icing was sooo smooth and sweet (but not too sweet). Our friends and family STILL talk...
about how delicious our wedding cake was (over 2 years ago!).
Also, no one had any idea that our cake was missing animal products. Being vegan myself, I had to have a cake that I not only enjoyed, but that our non-vegan family and friends didn’t suspect. And since we had an amaretto flavored cake, Amanda thought of making vanilla cupcakes for the few kids we had at our wedding - 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
By purchasing a cake from Florine’s, you’re not only supporting a small, local business but you’re purchasing the best cake you’ll ever eat.
Being vegan, having a lot of friends that are vegan wanting to have a vegan cake at our wedding, We choose Amanda at Florine’s Flour Shoppe. Amanda creates beautiful and delicious ...
cakes and desserts. I gave her my ideas and she went with them and made my dream cake! I choose a vanilla base with strawberries inside each layer and a buttercream frosting. The cake was white with light pink accents and gold throughout. I even gave her some flowers to add on to the cake. OMG! It was incredible, to say the least. It was my favorite part of the wedding. Even all my nonvegan family friends had no idea. If you have a dairy allergy she is your go-to gal in the cake department. 10/10 would recommend over and over. Thank you so much Amanda for making my wedding a day to remember!!
