It breaks my heart to write this review...We had a beautiful wedding at flossmoor country club on November 2, 2019. Everyone seemed so nice BUT...
Multiple cards containing cash,...
gift cards and checks in excess of $1500 were stolen from our card basket. The club tried to blame our guests, our band and even us saying we must have dropped them. After a police investigation the police have arrested a member of the staff at the club. We reached out to the club about trying to get some type of compensation, and they have never responded or even apologized for what happened. This incident has left us sick at heart and totally embarrassed, as we had to contact all our guests about the missing cards. It has put a big dark cloud over our memory of what should have been the happiest day of our lives.

e the event planner. The venue itself was beautiful and there was tons of space. Mackenzie was quick to respond to emails and super helpful with all the questions we had. She was there on weekends to give myself and fiancé a tour and then my parents as well at a later date. Only great things to say about this venue and the experience we had there!

I was born and raised in the south suburbs and currently live in the city of Chicago. When I was researching wedding venues, I originally looking only at Chicago venues like the Bl...
ackstone Hotel, Art Institute, Chicago Cultural Center, Botanical Gardens, Etc. I quickly realized that those venues were all very pricey.
I had an aversion to country clubs because of my childhood, and thought they were stuffy, so I refused to visit. Once I came to terms with reality, knowing that I didn't want to spend approx. $200/person in Chicago, I decided to visit the country clubs. I liked FCC the best. They have a beautiful patio, three nicely decorated rooms, and the planner Peggy and the chef are so friendly!
Together with a dream team of florist and decorators, FCC made my wedding vision/dream a reality!
