, making the entire process easy and fun. I wasn’t completely sure what I wanted, but after sharing my mood board with her, she created something perfectly “us”!
The one thing I knew for sure was that I wanted figurines of our dogs incorporated into the design, and Ashley placed them perfectly on the cake. It was such a meaningful and personal touch that made it feel uniquely ours.
The take-home tasting kit was a great experience, and every flavor was so delicious that choosing just one was hard! On the wedding day, the cake was not only gorgeous but also a hit with our guests. People were asking about it all night, and I even got messages afterward from friends raving about how good it was.
Ashley’s passion for baking, especially wedding cakes, really stands out. She’s creative, detail-oriented, and genuinely cares about her clients! I highly recommend Flour Child to anyone who wants a cake that’s as special as their big day.

passed away shortly before the wedding and Ashley's concept was beautiful. The groom's side of the family loved it and recognized that it was in honor of their father and grandfather. The wedding cake perfectly matched the theme of the wedding and my daughter was delighted with everything. Guest said repeatedly that the cakes were "awesome" and both of them were completely consumed, proof that they were delicious. Ashley arrived well before the events to set up the cakes on both days of the wedding weekend and the presentations were perfect. I just wish she was in California for the next wedding!
