Shannon is the most talented florist I have ever met! The flowers she did for my wedding truly took my breath away. She took my vision and made it a reality. She was also so great to work with, she was friendly, helpful and professional. She was very understanding when we had to move our wedding due to the pandemic. She also was very patient with me when I changed up my florals and decor design a couple times. In addition, she had great ideas when it came to centerpiece design and accents. I was told by many guests just how beautiful everything was and as a bride I could not have been happier with the flowers on my wedding day. I highly recommend Shannon, she is amazing!

Flourish’s designs are full of whimsy and elegance. The flowers were exactly what we imagined, but better. We were left in awe. Shannon listened to our specific requests for “Fall-ish” but “not Pumkin Spiced Latte Fall”. They were unique, artistic and classy. The florals and embellishments she suggested were memorable and made our wedding day even more special. Shannon was prompt and professional. A true gem. I actually took a moment, mid ceremony, to have our guests applaud my bouquet!

Shannon is amazing! She is truly a creative genius and made my low-budget wedding venue look like a million bucks. During our initial meeting, Shannon helped guide me through different options (I did not have a concrete vision other than "pinks, greens, and ivory") and even looked at my Pinterest board with me to determine the style of florals and decorations I might want. She was very thorough and followed up our meeting with a detailed cost estimate and PDF of possible flowers and decorations. She was completely understanding of my tight budget and accommodated my limitations seamlessly. Shannon was wonderfully communicative and obviously cared about making sure everything was perfect for my wedding. I cannot praise Shannon enough!!! Not only is she an incredible florist she’s a pleasure to work with. As I began to plan my destination wedding in Lake Tahoe I knew immediately that florals were going to be a VERY important aspect, if not one of the most important. I’m an avid gardener, love succulents and wanted that to show. I began reaching out to florists as soon as I set the date and became somewhat distraught....it seemed like no one understood my vision. I had spoken with several florists (and expanded my search area) when I finally found Flourish. Shannon was bubbly, passionate & said she could bring my vision to life! She sent me a mood board with colors, flower selections, ribbon colors, etc. it was in this moment I knew she was my florist! She just got it. Over the next several months we stayed in close contact and every time I changed my mind or asked to add new items I was met with an “of course” or “we’d love to”! Even a few weeks before my wedding I was adding more succulents and the team at Flourish was kind enough to say yes! When we finally met in person it was like hanging out with an old friend (who’s crazy talented!) Fast forward to my wedding day - I had wanted to include peonies in my bouquet, but they’re not in season in August. When Shannon walked in holding my bouquet and I saw peonies I felt tears well up inside. She said she found some all the way in Alaska....and surprised me! Talk about florist of the year! I decided to do a moon arch with asymmetrical flowers as the ceremony backdrop....holy moly was it even more beautiful than I could’ve imagined. As I sat down at my table and looked at how gorgeous Flourish made everything look I was overjoyed. The majority of my guests even commented on how lovely all my florals were! My husband and I were absolutely blown away with the floral arrangements, bouquets, and corsages Shannon and her team at Flourish put together for our wedding! After my first phone call with Shannon I knew I had found the right florist for our big day; she took my vision and went above and beyond with it! My jaw dropped when I first saw my bouquet and I couldn’t believe how many flowers were on our chuppah and on the tables! I cannot reccomend Flourish enough!

On the day of the wedding, everything was labeled and set up perfectly and executed seamlessly. We could not be happier with our wedding floral designs from Shannon! I don't know a lot about flowers, so Shannon took my Pinterest ideas and brought them to life seamlessly! My bouquet was stunning (and HEAVY with full, beautiful blooms!) and guests were complimenting our table centerpieces all evening (some even took the flowers home for themselves!). All of the flowers were fresh, bright, and smelled amazing. Shannon was a pleasure to work with, and stayed in constant contact with us throughout the planning process. Our day-of flowers turned out really well. I struggled a bit with Shannon during the planning process- feeling like I had to micromanage and double/triple check that my vision was being carried out. But ultimately Shannon delivered a great product.

Shannon was an absolute DREAM to work with at Flourish! She was extremely professional, sweet, and most importantly, so incredibly creative with her floral designs. I shopped around a bit when looking for a wedding florist, and most of the designs I saw looked very generic and similar to each other. The flowers at my wedding were far and away more beautiful than anything that I could have imagined and I received compliments all night from the wedding guests and other vendors at the event. She called me back promptly and provided an initial consultation, sent me the proposal and invoice, and then we met face to face at her office so that she could show me different ideas. She was able to work within our budget and put us at ease. I even asked for a last minute change to add a floral & green arch at the wedding ceremony which she was able to pull off without a hitch. Planning a wedding can be stressful but I knew I had nothing to worry about with my flowers. Where do I even start!! Right off the bat, I knew I loved Shannon based off the proposal she sent me from our initial meeting! She literally took and vision and made it happen! I loved working with Shannon through the whole process. She was flexible with my ideas and any proposed changes. I wanted flowers to be key attribute in the wedding and WOW they truly were! She is so gifted and I am lucky to have had her work apart of our special day! From start to finish, Shannon is extremely professional and enjoyable to work with! Shannon and her team were WONDERFUL!!! She had great communication and delivered above and beyond my expectations. My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary with a vow renewal ceremony. The venue was our backyard and the flowers she provided were perfect. The floating bouquets in the pool looked elegant . The arch she provided and decorated was a wonderful focal point. The bouquets and boutonnieres were fresh and eye-catching, Shannon made sure that the boutonnieres were labeled with names, including one for our son's 3 month old puppy. Flourish did an amazing job on our wedding! She took my vision to the next level, with amazing details including succulents in my bouquet that I've now planted in my garden. From the sweet flower girl flower crowns, to the delicate flower arch, to beautiful centerpieces incorporating colored glass vessels, it was just perfect. And Shannon was so great to work with, very creative and responsive. Could not recommend more!

Shannon did such a beautiful job on our wedding. I showed her my favorite Pinterest pictures and to just go from there. I didn't have "colors" for our wedding and I told her I wanted a wild flower look and for them to really stand out. I loved what she did! The tables looked beautiful with the candles she paired with the flowers and the extra greenery touches on the other tables were great. Highly recommend Flourish!

Our wedding day turned out even more beautiful than I could have hoped for, in large part because of Shannon and the amazing florals she created for us. She listened very closely to me throughout the process and understood what I was looking for, and made a ton of suggestions that I ended up loving. She even was able to create arrangements to fit the arch my dad hand-made for the ceremony, and sketch out and execute a last minute design for climbing vines up a wall at the reception! I loved the little extra unexpected touches like jasmine in my bouquet, which made it smell wonderful. The wedding was local, and delivery and pickup was as easy as could be. I used Shannon based on venue referral and she was responsive and helpful on the business end. I never met with her in person just communicated through email and this may have been a matter of communication breakdown. The bouquet I picked up the day of the wedding wasn't what I thought I had asked for and with her pricing being more than most I expected the work to reflect. Nevertheless, I made her aware of my dissatisfaction and she came to the venue and altered it to be more so what I wanted. I wasn't 100% pleased but she made the effort. You may want to research her style and make sure it matches yours prior to booking her.

Brides, Shannon was a blast to work with and knows what's she's doing! We are in the grocery industry and we wanted to add personal touches to our wedding by incorporating some herbs into our arrangements. She did such a wonderful job, we felt like our personal touch was incorporated into every arrangement. Everyone was commenting on our flowers. We had a door where we were married in front of and we decided that a wreath would be perfect, and it really was! I can not recommend Flourish enough to all couples. She is creative, easy going, and will work with you until then end.

I cannot say enough good things about Flourish. Shannon and her team were fantastic! She completely understood the vision I had for my wedding and she made it come to life. She even made it BETTER than I had imagined and I didn’t think that was possible. The best part was, she really listened to my wants and needs and came up with a plan that I was comfortable with at a price I could afford. She presented me with two different proposals, at two different price points, to really ensure that I had options and was satisfied. I even through her a curveball at the 11th hour and she didn’t bat an eye. She was so flexible and accommodating, even when it really was asking her to go above and beyond. The floral design that Flourish provided for my wedding was STUNNING and BREATH TAKING. To top it off, Shannon was a delight to work with! She did a wonderful job at providing exactly what we asked for and offered additional decor items (votives and vases) that helped bring our vision to fruition. Shannon transformed our neat industrial venue into a soft and elegant space. My favorite part of any wedding is the florals and Flourish met every expectation that I had and much more.

When my fiancé and I left our first appointment with Shannon, we had an overwhelming feeling that we had made the right choice for our wedding florist. Shannon was able to use the floral arrangements from the ceremony for the reception décor, a big cost savings. The wedding day was filled with flowers in perfect bloom, carefully crafted bouquets, spectacular table arrangements and floral accents. They will always be a vivid part of our wedding day memories. You know you made the right choice, when your photographers spend as much time taking photos of your floral arrangements as they do of you! Shannon was great to work with! Our wedding planner, Stephanie Teague, recommended her and once we met her I knew why! I had found ideas on Pinterest and Stephanie had sent them to Shannon for our initial meeting. Since we were planning the wedding from out of state, I did not get to see the flowers or the arrangement until the day of. We ended up going with sunflowers and other wild flowers for the bouquets and center pieces. It was a rustic chic theme and she did an amazing job. My bouquet was GORGEOUS and I wish I could have taken it home with me! Thank you so much for all of your hard work - the bouquets and arrangements were beyond what I could imagine:)

Shannon was amazing!! She brought our vision to life and beyond. The flowers were out of this world gorgeous, and truly made the event. Two brides= twice as much work, but she rocked it! She donated the left over flowers to a senior home too, which made us very happy.

Shannon did an exquisite job on floral designs for our wedding over Labor Day weekend 2015. We had a rustic outdoor wedding in the Sierra Mountains, and because it was set in the forest, we wanted to make sure that the floral arrangements celebrated and amplified the natural beauty of our surroundings without looking out of place. Shannon came up with wonderful ideas for how to incorporate elements from the forest into arrangements, including using beautiful lichen-covered branches from our property on the dining tables. Shannon was such a careful listener and totally ‘got’ what I wanted for my bouquet, flower crown, boutonnieres and other wearable florals too. Our guests kept commenting on how lovely the flowers were, and my husband says that my bouquet was the most beautiful one he’s ever seen. I’d have to agree!

My husband and I were recently married at a winery in Sonoma County, Ca. We chose the location due to the great indoor and outdoor locations the winery provided. Due to the natural beauty of our location as well as our asthetic I wanted our flowers to be simple, romantic and unstructured. Upon meeting Shannon of Flourish she answered my questions, listened, made suggestions based on pictures and my ideas. She even provided a mock up of my bouquet on her ipad. The day of we were nothing but impressed with the efficiency, the set-up, break down, and the overall product that was provided. The truly made my day stress free and more stunning than I ever could have imagined. They were professional every step of the way and worked very hard to make all of our dreams a reality. The flowers on the tables and our bouquets were unbelievable!! Many complements and we are all drying our bouquets to keep forever. I hope Flourish will do our flowers.

Shannon did an amazing job on our flowers. It wasn't in our budget to be able to do a mock up of what the flowers would look like for the day of the wedding, so that made me nervous. But when I first entered the ceremony room and saw the floral arrangement Shannon put together for behind the altar area, I couldn't stop admiring it. The set-up was beautiful and it worked perfectly with our venue. I was in even more shock when we entered the reception room and I saw all of the centerpieces. It was simple, elegant and gorgeous - exactly how we wanted it! Many people approached me about the centerpieces and couldn't stop talking about how gorgeous they were. My bouquet and the bridesmaid's bouquets were simply beautiful and it looked perfect with our dresses. I am so happy that we went with Shannon and Flourish Designs, they did an amazing job and made our wedding looking beautiful!

I can't express how in love I was with the flowers and bouquets at my wedding. They were more amazing than I ever could have imagined. Shannon is a true genius and knows what she is doing. After our consultation she knew exactly what I wanted and went above and beyond what I'd ever envisioned. If you don't have a florist, you just found one!

We used Flourish for our wedding and we don’t regret it for a second. Shannon was 110% willing to work within our limited budget and even added some free extras for the day-of. Her assistant also MacGyvered a second boutonniere for one of the groomsmen after a miscommunication (partially our fault) on our wedding day. To top it all, the flower arrangements were beautiful. Highly recommended.

My partner and I have little knowledge or experience when it comes to flowers, let alone weddings. We had no color scheme, no real ideas, and our botanical knowledge only related to edible plants. Shannon, however, knew how to take the reigns and offer up options that were colorful and contemporary by interviewing us and getting a feel for us as a couple. She developed a color scheme based on my partner's military army green uniform and my khaki linen suit - working with blue and yellow flowers and various green succulents. Since I work as a food writer she surprised me by working sage and rosemary into my boutonniere, and into the corsages for the ladies in our wedding party. It was darling! The table settings and the beyond breathtaking backsplash she set up at the banquet table astonished everyone. Smart, inventive, and able to work in a tight budget and offer good suggestions Shannon is THE florist to have at your wedding.

My flowers were one of the biggest expenses of my wedding, but they were absolutely stunning and you definitely get what you pay for! Everyone was raving about my bouquet and the centerpieces. They were breathtaking My only issue was that the delivery fee did not include retrieval of items, so the day after my wedding we drove 20 minutes to return the items. Other than that, I was extremely pleased.

Shannon just did my wedding and her work was AMAZING! She's simply the best, and everyone is still commenting on how beautiful the flowers were! We couldn't have been more thrilled, and the special touches and extra work she put into everything was both gorgeous and memorable. Shannon at flourish is incredibly talented creative. I felt like she got me from the moment we met. I know absolutely nothing about flowers. She was able to help me guide my flower selections form pictures I brought in and came up with a beautiful concept on my tight budget. She was so easy to work with and a great communicator. I cannot count the number of complements that I received on the flowers at our wedding. They were gorgeous and she incorporated original things like grapes, figs and artichokes to help us to achieve the dark purple look we were going for. She even made my flower girl a purple artichoke pomander that was to die for. I would absolutely recommend her highly!

In spite of my sad attempts to describe how we wanted the flowers and decor to look (I'm pretty sure I just kept repeating non-words like "glowy"), Shannon knew exactly what vibe we were going for. She pulled together a gorgeous mix of simple and classic flowers with tons of candles, hurricanes accented with gold and silver foiling, and mercury glass - it was everything we wanted but that we didn't even know we wanted! Also, if there was a way I could figure out how to carry around the bouquet she made me every day without looking like a crazy person, I would do it in a heartbeat. Shannon was great to work with - she paid so much attention to all the little details, even tying a special ring of mine to my bouquet, and was incredibly patient with us when we changed our minds about things.
