Flourish Wedding Design

mories, it was not at all in a good way. While working with Flourish was intended to ensure that my sister’s wedding was not overwhelming, apparently, it’s only the advanced design and vision boards that aren’t overwhelming; assistance on the ground day of was nonexistent. If the vision of the client hits a snag in reality, no one is prepared or has any skills to move beyond the daydream in their mind. When a huge storm hit the outdoor tent for the ceremony minutes before the bride was due to walk down the aisle, no staff were present anywhere. My brother and I were forced to rescue religious items before a table was blown over, and then forced to evacuate the guests themselves when the speaker system came crashing to the ground. Only after I was the last person in the tent, having made sure all elderly guests got back inside safely, did an assistant finally appear and tell me “You should leave the tent for your own safety.” This is just something you can’t make up. There was no backup plan for the ceremony, and it took over an hour before the ballroom (already set for the party) was suggested. It was then up to my family, my soon to be brother-in-law’s family, and the photographers we had hired, to move the tables and chairs to reset the room for a ceremony. No staff offered a hand. On top of that, the families were also forced to disassemble and then reassemble the chuppa (the canopy used at a Jewish wedding) using tools the groom’s father brought, and climbing ladders, while in their tuxes and gowns. I should mention that one member of Jennifer’s staff did appear as this manual labor was going on, but she did nothing but watch. Not a single finger was raised, not a single apology given. If you want Jennifer and her team to really coordinate your day, nothing had better go wrong. But if nothing is going to go wrong, what would you need to hire a coordinator for in the first place?

a wonderful job helping us keep organized and on schedule while we planned our wedding, and made sure that we were able to enjoy every second of the day itself. Everyone commented all day how relaxed and calm I was while getting ready day-of, and it was all thanks to Flourish; I was able to enjoy every moment thanks to Flourish ensuring that everything was set up and ready to go! Our Florals were exactly what I dreamed of having as well; working with them on designing the centerpieces and ceremony flowers was so easy, they took my inspiration photos and created exactly what we wanted and needed that day. Everything was BEAUTIFUL, their staff was great to work with, and we really couldn't be more grateful for all of the help the Flourish team provided us and the absolutely fantastic job they did.

er person and I didn’t really know what I wanted, so Jennifer worked with me to find something in our budget that incorporated our theme/colors. The florals turned out so beautiful that the day after my wedding I impulsively splurged on getting my bouquet preserved in resin as a serving tray because I just couldn’t bear to throw it away! We went with the wedding management option because it made sense with our budget and I had already selected most of our vendors, but they still provided me with vendor recommendations for the last few ones I needed, which definitely reduced the amount of time I spent researching! All wedding coordination services are expensive, but Flourish is reasonably priced, and we got a discount for using a “preferred venue” (The Rafters at Historic St. Marks)- this was also great because they knew our venue super well so they had very helpful tips for our layout and timeline. I chose Flourish because they are a small and local team with a focus on sustainability, so it was a much more personal experience. They made the last few months of wedding planning so much less stressful, and we were very happy with how everything turned out on our wedding day!

d out to Jennifer because I wasn’t sure where to go from there ( I had no idea what wedding coordinator meant and what that service included). Day of coordinator was exactly what I needed! She made everything straight forward and helped me think of details that I never would have thought about. The decorations and floral arrangements honestly looked better than I had imagined. The day of was a breeze and I didn’t have to worry about anything. We are from out of town and did not know the area well, but Jennifer took a call with me, asked for inspiration pictures, and sent me a proposal with more details than I knew I needed. She was so thorough! She worked with our budget and revised our plan as needed. Her team delivered and set up the arrangements, which were absolutely stunning, and worked with the venue coordinator (something I didn't have to do) to schedule a good time for pickup the next day. I can't say enough wonderful things about Jennifer and Flourish Wedding Designs!

I never even had to bat an eye of concern because, if I need anything done she had it done! She was amazing and made the day run so seem-less. However, on the wedding day, I wanted to be completely hands-off and be present and enjoy the day. On our wedding day, I was calm and had complete confidence in Morgen that she would handle any issues. I learned there were a few hiccups on the day of, but I was kept in the dark, thanks to Morgen and the team. Flourish was also our floral vendor. Our flowers were beautiful, and it was fantastic having the same vendor responsible for all of the aesthetics of our wedding. I also made a mistake in calculations, and on the day of realized we were short a bouquet. I could have had a major panic attack, but Morgen was prepared and able to fix the issue without anyone knowing quickly. I would highly recommend Jennifer and her team. I am incredibly grateful for all they did to make our day unforgettable. My husband is extremely thankful that he had an extremely calm bride, thanks to Flourish!

ure everything I wanted happened. We had multiple conversations leading up to the wedding and they have a great system for keeping you on track! I am a hangry person and I joked about it with Jennifer that it was important I stay fed- and I did! It was even on the schedule that I get a snack after the ceremony; it's a funny little detail but that just shows you the attention to detail and commitment she has that your wedding experience is what you need it to be. Jennifer even made sure we had food delivered to our room at the end of the night. I was hesitant to hire a coordinator because I thought I could handle it- what a disaster that day would have been without Jennifer and her team! As a couple getting married you need someone dedicated to you and your needs first- Flourish Wedding Design will be that for you!

She is a boss lady and a total bad ass and I couldn't imagine putting my wedding in any other hands than hers. Our bouquets and our arbor design was stunning and her prices are extremely reasonable for being eco friendly and sustainably sourced. ennifer was on time, and immediately jumped in to make sure everything was set for the start time. Morgan was also great to work with! They anticipated guests needs, and when they left my house, it barely looked like a party had taken place. It made for a very enjoyable and relaxing evening for me who normally would've tried to do it all myself.

o be August 2021. Wedding planning is stressful but adding a pandemic on top made it even more so. Jennifer has literally been my MVP for our wedding. Jennifer literally took the stress away. She was like let’s get your wedding planned perfectly and ride the waves together. She has helped with literally everything from moving vendors, to being our voice of hope in such a trying time.
