We could not recommend Flower + Oak more! Mark and his team were incredible throughout the booking process and answered all of our questions in such a timely manner. We booked them 18 months before our wedding date and they continued to check in periodically to be sure we didn’t need anything. Prior to the wedding, they have you fill out a pdf with all important information, preferences, etc which they follow exactly! The day of, we had Jesse as our videographer, and he was wonderful! He was timely, kind, professional, and fit right in with our group. He traveled to multiple locations with us to capture all aspects of our day. He independently got with our photographers and DJ to ensure everything worked well together. We just got our films back (only 8 weeks from the wedding) and they are STUNNING! The highlight film reflects our day perfectly and the editing is just perfect. The documentary edit is a great way to relive the day from start to finish. Not to mention it is so fun and amazing to have access to all the raw footage; there are so many tiny clips that we have found and truly love all of them. The audio quality is top notch. As a team, Flower + Oak is truly amazing. We couldn’t have imagined our day filmed in any other way and now we have it forever to remember! Highly recommend!

My husband and I, and our family and friends all love how our videos have turned out! They will definitely be treasures to watch over the years. I didn't realize our videographer captured all that he did because he was so stealthy! It has been so fun to see so many beautiful moments from our wedding, whether we relived them through the videos or by experiencing new ones we didn't get to witness. Our videographer was professional, courteous, and even got our videos back to us a few weeks before he said he would! We will be recommending Flower + Oak to any future spouses-to-be! We absolutely ADORED working with Mark and Andrew at Flower and Oak! We interviewed a lot of videographers before landing on hiring Mark and his team. We were impressed with his knowledge, and the fact that he wasn’t pushy about booking with us. He genuinely wanted us to find a good fit for us whether that was him or not. But my husband and I both felt really comfortable with him right off the bat, and we were really blown away by everything we’d seen him do on social media and his website. He is a very skilled filmmaker! And gosh, he was easy to work with! He was enthusiastic about all of our ideas and got excited with me leading up to the big day! We also loved that he has such an artistic eye. Since I am an artist, that was important to us! He loved my in laws backyard where we did our first look and all our photos. It is one of my favorite places in the world, and I’m glad he appreciated how beautiful it is back there!! Our reception venue was lovely inside but less than lovely outside. It was really just a parking lot next to a grocery store and gas station. But I had this idea to take the giant backdrop that I painted (for behind our head table) outside at some point in the night to take some photos before bringing it in to use as our selfie station for our guests. It might have seemed a little weird having a big beautiful painting in the middle of a random parking lot, but Mark commented that he loved that kind of scrappy vibe where it was beautiful and then also kinda random haha. It honestly felt like it fit us pretty well lol, and it made me excited that he was excited because I knew he was going to make it look so cool! I’m so happy with how it all came out! He also got our videos back to us faster than I had expected. I think it was right on line with his projected timeline, but it felt pretty quick! When my husband and I watched the full video, we realized that they included more of the mass part of the wedding ceremony than was necessary. But when I sent over my requested edits for the video (I had kind of a lot tbh since I went through the raw footage and had some specific clips that I wanted included and a few that they had put in there that we didn’t need) they were able to take those on graciously and got us our edited film back quickly! We are so happy we booked Flower and Oak and would happily recommend them to anyone who is looking for a videographer!! (Photos in this review were taken by Emily Millay Photography because I couldn't include videos!)

After our first call, I knew that I was going to hire Flower and Oak!! They made the process so easy and include everything that’s important up front instead of charging for a bunch of add ons. Having all the raw footage was also super important to us and they include it at no additional cost. I literally can’t help but cry every time I watch our highlight video! At first, I wasn't sure about getting a wedding video but I had so many friends that got married in the past few years that wished they had booked a videographer. Our grandparents are getting older, and we have so much family & friends from out of town. We really wanted to capture all their moments with us. Flower & Oak didn't just make a video, they made an emotional memory that feels like our family. From the moment we watched some of his work on Instagram to our first phone conversation, we knew he was exactly what we were looking for. I had reached out to Mark after I asked my photographer for suggestions of who she was familiar with working with. After visiting his website while on a consultation call with him, I realized he actually shot my cousin's wedding video! And I loved their videos so much. I knew after that I had to have Mark at my wedding. Best decision to have Mark and Rodney (his second shooter) at our wedding. They were so very professional and efficient. They both really handled our big, fat Syrian wedding with such ease!! I highly recommend using Mark for your videographer! He is professional, efficient, kind, and SO great at what he does. So many family members and friends commented on how impressed they were wedding day.. and they were blown away when they saw the finished product, myself included! We will cherish this video forever, and love that it includes not only us but our closest family members/friends. Planning a wedding and communicating with vendors can be very stressful. Mark was very responsive, and we set up a phone call days after I reached out. He asked what specifics things we were wanting but did not ask too many questions that would be overwhelming. He was there early on our wedding day and continuously checked with us throughout the day/night. He worked in unison with our other vendors, specifically our photographer. Mark made sure all of the capture not only all of the important moments of our wedding, but moments we missed- family walking down the aisle, friends during cocktail hour, all dancing ect. We received the final product around 7 weeks after wedding and it was perfect. I know so much time and thought were put into the highlight reel as well as the 40 minute video and we are so appreciative.

You NEED Mark for your wedding day! We originally were on the fence about hiring videography for our wedding day. However, once we saw the films Mark created for our sister and brother-in-law's wedding, it was a no brainer. Actually, our family has had 3 weddings in 2 years, and we hired Mark for all of them! He does such a stunning, genius job of capturing the feeling of each day and the relationship between each couple. Of the 3 videos he made for our family, they are each unique -from the mood he creates to the music he chooses- and each one fits each couple flawlessly. Hiring Mark/Flower & Oak to shoot my wedding was easily one of the best decisions I made around my big day! Many people in my life told me that I did not NEED a videographer and did not see the value in it. I am so glad I did not listen to them. Mark captured our wedding day perfectly from the hustle and bustle of getting ready, intimate moments shared with loved ones, our first look, the ceremony, and even family and friends dancing and enjoying their night. Every time I rewatch our film, I feel like I'm right back in the moment, reliving our special day. He managed to capture all of the feelings and excitement of the day on video. Mark is AMAZING. The moment he stepped into the room on the wedding day, he brought incredible energy and made me so excited for the day. I was so comfortable around him, and you can tell how passionate he was about creating a great wedding video. That's how nice and goal-oriented he is to make sure the bride and groom just have the best day. Mark is setting a new standard for what vending videography should be. First off, he was incredible to work with - being so flexible as to do anything within his power to make our day as easy as possible. From start to finish, Mark was fantastic! He captured our day perfectly and made the video even better than I could have imagined. He put in all the extra effort the whole day from arriving early, to traveling to multiple locations without asking and much more. I cannot recommend Mark more!!! I knew I wanted a videographer for my wedding, so I did a decent amount of research. I knew once I spoke to Mark that he was the right one to pick, I didn't talk to anyone else after. First, Mark's top package was as much as some company's starting package and it came with everything I wanted (raw footage, an extra videographer, & 12 hours with them [but Mark even threw in an extra hour for us!]). Second, he was such a sweetheart. It was my photographers first wedding, and he gladly took her under his wing, helping with tips and lens recommendations and everything. Lastly, the process was fairly simple. Easy payment and easy set up with the planning email a week or so before hand that helped gather all the info he needed and a good way for us to let him know what we wanted with our video. At the time I'm writing this review, I've only watched our highlight film, but I've already rewatched it at least 5 times. I can't wait to watch the full film, watch our raw footage, and our highlight film for years to come. If you want the film you know you'll cherish, you need to pick Flower & Oak. You won't be disappointed.

where do I begin?! We weren't even going to have a videographer for our wedding, but I brought up the point about the day going by so fast and video captures the moments we missed so my husband decided to entertain it. After our call with Mark, my husband was onboard. Let me tell you, we have only watched the highlight video so far, and my husband turned to me and said, "I still had reservations about a videographer, but I am so glad we did!" The video is incredible and we are so excited to see the rest of the footage. Mark was so easy to work with and he has a great eye. We couldn't have been happier with his work ! I highly recommend Mark and trust me, you do want a videographer !

Mark was by far the best decision we made for our wedding. We were so hesitant at first to get a videographer and as soon as I spoke to Mark, my mind changed. He felt so different than others we had talked to and truly wanted us to be happy with it and get out of it what we wanted. My now husband’s mother is very sick and was unable to make the wedding… he helped record the ceremony live for her, rushed our highlight film and full length film, and checks in on how she is doing. He was so endearing the entire day with everyone and interacted so well. His demeanor was professional but enthusiastic and became part of our crew within minutes! He listened to what we wanted and takes into consideration what’s most important to you. We got our highlight back and I haven’t stopped watching on repeat. The compliments we have already received are amazing and I will recommend Mark to everyone for allowing me to relive our wedding day over and over again. Thank you times a million! Do yourself a favor and hire Mark!
