received an an email with an introduction to the local videographer who would be filming us. I reached out to Mark at Flower + Oak with concerns and he explained that Flower + Oak is a company that utilizes local videographers, but that they have a core team of editors who produce the films they publish. I was in bridezilla mode and expressed that I would still love to have Mark there if he could make it work. Without hesitation, Mark moved around his calendar so that he could be present on my wedding and drove 6+ HOURS to be there for me. He drove 6+ hours back home that evening too so that he could catch an early morning flight for a client in another state. After meeting Mark in person, I felt the passion in his work and trust that he would have never allowed someone to capture my wedding day who was not qualified. If this is your concern too, trust that their team has high standards. Mark was personable, easy to talk to, energetic, positive, and very polite. He made everything feel natural which made footage come out just as I felt it happen that day. It felt as though he blended in smoothly with all other vendors. We received our video back SO fast. My husband and I cried after watching our documentary edit because it was an exact reminder of the love we felt that day. The original plan in my wedding budget was not to hire a videographer. My heart is so happy knowing I booked with them because I can't believe I almost missed out on having these videos for the rest of my life. We can't wait to watch these every year on our anniversary and reminisce on the best day of our lives. I highly recommend Flower + Oak.
