I don’t typically write reviews but tried to include information I would have found relevant before our wedding. Happy Hunting:-)
The finished product was our perfectly wholesome ...June afternoon wedding flawlessly executed in a breezy field… Fortunately the process / working with Jeff and Lindsey was also a breeze. Lindsey often was the one to initiate contact (not this bride!) to be sure communication between us and expectations were on point.
During the planning process Lindsey was very clear about the venue’s needs from my vendors as well as myself and fiance. Flower Bee cooperated with vendors brilliantly, including solving some last-minute logistical hiccups that, fortunately, were kept entirely from us on our wedding day. (We only found out about it in the “recap” discussions that followed the wedding. Thank goodness.)
After seeing the venue twice, my husband and I booked it about a year out from the wedding.
We had a few meetings with Jeff and Lindsey where we discussed the general plan and decided we would like to use the “flower house” for the bride’s “finishing touches” photos.
It was ADORABLE! I will say I’m incredibly glad the weather cooperated on our special day as I tend to run hot and the flower house was a perfect escape from the sun to cool off and relax.
We also opted to have Lindsey do our flowers. I was so impressed with her knowledge about the blooms themselves in addition to how they would go together in arrangements. I was very overwhelmed by the seemingly endless option and was grateful to have Lindsey sherpa us through. The end result was incredible and I took a lot of comfort in the simplicity of our venue also being our florist.
and we were very grateful she knew which questions to ask to make my vision reality… Without her lead I would have not known how to communicate my ideas.
Our ceremony (held in the prairie right next to the venue building) was lovely and although we had days of heavy rain preceding our wedding I don’t think we saw a single mosquito. We used Flower Bee’s chairs and lectern for the ceremony and were happy with both.
The venue itself was incredibly clean on our wedding day and everything was arranged as discussed. I changed my mind a few times on placement of furniture and tables in the days preceding the wedding and the changes were happily obliged. I was initially a bit concerned about the necessity of port-o-potties for the event but was very, very happy with the surprisingly clean and well-placed units. I was comfortable “using the facilities” in my poofy wedding dress so I anticipate our guests were comfortable as well.
For the reception we used the burlap table linens supplied by Flower Bee plus a few of their white tablecloths. We were very pleased with the quality of the linens and the simplicity of the process.
We danced, everyone worked together appropriately, and we had one of the best days of our lives. The image of sweet string lights and romantic seating groups (provided by Flower Bee) will forever be one of my favorite memories.
I strongly recommend the Flower Bee.
