Flowers by Angel

We wanted very simple flowers with a lot of candles, and he completely nailed it. At our walk through, he showed me samples that matched my inspiration (and let me take my bouquet home!) and was super flexible about any last minute details we needed added. It was so hot and humid on my wedding day, and all of the flowers still looked amazing!

It looked like something out of a dream. Every petal, every placement, every color was perfect. I remember just standing there in awe because it was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. My wedding coordinator—who has seen countless weddings—was so impressed, she told me she’ll be recommending Angel to all of her future clients. To top it all off, Angel and his team stayed an hour past their scheduled time to make sure every last floral installation was completed perfectly. That level of dedication is rare and speaks volumes about his work ethic and passion. His team was just as professional, warm, and hardworking as he was—an absolute joy to have around on such an important day. One of my favorite details was the flower baskets for my bridesmaids instead of traditional bouquets, and Angel absolutely nailed it! From the centerpieces to the aisle decor to our sweetheart table everything was beyond perfect. When I walked in and saw everything for the first time, my jaw dropped. I am truly grateful to Angel and his amazing team for bringing my wedding vision to life so beautifully. Thank you, Angel! You are truly an artist!

d not want any brides to go through my experience. The Good: Angel is a very talented florist. His arrangements are top notch. When his designs are pulled off, they are pulled off in a big way. I adored the floral decor of the alter and my bouquet turned out lovely in the end. Angel works with brides to create a vision for the day. Angel has very reasonable prices as well and encourages brides to be unique instead of simply offering white and pink arrangements. The Bad: 1) Late or Absent: Angel’s team was 4 hours late to set up florals on the wedding day. They were setting up while guests were already there. If the ceremony space was not separate from pre-ceremony drinks- they would have been setting up in front of all the seated guests. The guests DID SEE THEM SETTING UP. They did not call or communicate at ALL during the four hours. I spent my getting ready time worried that I would have no flowers. They didn’t answer my husband’s dozens of phone calls besides once to claim “traffic delays”. This was not true. Angel was 1 hour late to the venue walk through and did not call to tell me. I had taken off work and done a full walk through with the venue coordinate before he arrived. He didn’t really apologize, just said something about being busy. The day of the wedding Angel was not there! He didn’t tell me he would not be there. He sent a team that didn’t speak English. This made it impossible to communicate let alone discuss any issues. We had discussed a surprise for my husband that he would carry out himself. It didn’t happen. 2) Lack of Attention To Details: I spent a lot of time designing my florals. I was excited about it, but I also had to give specific directions like “put this in, take this out”, which I didn’t intend to do. My mock up bouquets were very much not on the mark. They were pretty- but not what we had discussed, and I sent loads of pictures for inspiration. On the wedding day there were a few weird choices, like dyed highlighter-yellow colored flowers that didn’t match the aesthetic at all. I literally ripped a few odd flowers out of the bouquets. My MOH told me that I beat her to it, bc she was going to remove them. I had also said very specifically that I did NOT want burlap anywhere. My bridal bouquet was wrapped in burlap. I had purchased hand dyed velvet ribbon from the London for my bouquet. It was not used. Luckily, I brought extra with me and venue coordinator ended up hot gluing it over the burlap to fix the issue. There were other mistakes as well. 3) LOTS of Missing Items: We were missing a minimum of $2000 worth of flowers. My aisle had NO FLOWERS. The tables had half as many flowers as planned (half of our vases were returned unopened). An entire large installation was missing, 4-5 small installations missing, outside decor that never happened, and many other big details that were paid for and never executed. This ruined several planned pictures. The worst part was after the wedding, Angel didn’t call us, didn’t apologize, & when we inquired about a refund for missing items and huge mistakes, he stopped responding. We got one reply blaming the venue (for everything) and never heard from him again. Angel has talent, but the business side is a disaster and simple cannot be trusted with such an important day.

el pictures of our envisions and he really brought all of our ideas to life. He decorated our wedding cake with the perfect amount of flowers to make the cake pop. It was beautiful. And for my flower girls I wanted them to have crowns that weren’t bulky that they could wear all night and he did just that. Our flower girls were wearing their crowns even the next day, they were in love with them. Our day really couldn’t of been more perfect. Thank you again Angel!

On our wedding day there was sporadic rain and we made the decision to move our ceremony inside after some of our ceremony decor was setup outside and Angel and his team made the change so quickly and did not compromise any of the beauty, Angel stayed throughout to make sure that everything was executed as it should be and worked hand in hand with his team our whole wedding morning. My bouquet and my bridal parties were beyond amazing and all of our families and guests loved the table decor and said how beautiful it all was and it it is all thanks to Angel and his team. We can not thank you enough Angel for making our day spectacular and we HIGHLY recommend him and will be using him in the future!!

Overall, he is so kind and such a genuine hard worker that you see leading up to the wedding and on your wedding day. All of our guests went on and on about how our venue looked with the floral arrangements, flower arch, sweet heart table and more. If you are having a wedding in the Hudson valley area he is the person to go to. I met with many other florists around the area and no one compared to Angel. Brides you will not be disappointed!!

I was so sad when I wasn’t able to see my sample bouquet in person (we are out of state) but Angel did not disappoint, even through zoom I knew it would be perfect! Angel was also so helpful since I don’t know much about florals, he took my inspo pictures and created something amazing. d Tyler helped bring the outdoors in since the temperature was too cold for an outdoor ceremony. The bouquet designed by Angel, Tyler, and my husband was absolutely breathtaking. Angel and Tyler also provided the flowers for my bridal shower. Guests from both the bridal shower and the wedding keep commenting about how beautiful the flowers were. Those lucky enough to take an arrangement home with them were in awe over how long the flowers lasted. You cannot go wrong with Flowers by Angel. Beautiful, unique designs and high quality flowers.

utdoor ballroom cocktail hour room. After seeing their masterpieces, I immediately contacted them for our wedding. Since we don't live in the area, Tyler and Angel were more than accommodating to have a FaceTime meet with them where we discussed a high level idea of flowers, color scheme and quantity. A few months before our wedding, I met Angel and Tyler in their shop where they were able to create examples of the two different centerpieces we would have alternating on tables. THEY WERE BEAUTIFUL!! We were able to talk through the designs and pieces to add/remove to perfection. Going into our wedding day, I felt 100% comfortable and relaxed knowing that centerpieces, head table, bouquet, boutonnieres, candles, archway and cake flowers would be PERFECTION. On our wedding day, the amazing Tyler came to deliver all of our bouquets to the hotel while we got ready while the amazing Angel was at the Grandview creating his masterpieces. Since it was raining on our wedding day, their recommendation of moving the archway flowers from out in the rain to the entryway to our reception (covered) was wonderful. We appreciated their candor to ensure that none of our flowers were ruined. At our reception, all I can say is WOW!!!!! It was beyond our expectations. The centerpieces were PERFECT!!!!! The candles were all lit, flowers were perfect, flowers on the cake -- SPECTACULAR. All of our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful all of the decor looked.  Besides being fantastic at their jobs, they're amazing people that I can truly call friends after this process. Hiring Angel and Tyler for your big day will be one of the best decisions that you make and they will ensure to take care of every single detail. They're the best!!

Included in their price you get a sample of your bouquet and centerpiece and they brought it to one of my menu visits at our venue. This is something no other florist offered me and I loved the fact that I got to see what it was going to look like on the wedding day and I got to make any last minute changes. The day of the wedding they dropped off all of the bouquets to the hotel we were getting ready at, put on a charm of my late grandma on my bouquet and made a last minute flower crown for my flower girl. They were just hands down the BEST and my favorite vendor. I recommend them to anyone looking for a great affordable florist!

We provided them some photos of our ideas and they ran with it and made it way better than we could have ever imagined. Flowers by Angel provided us with sample bouquets and center pieces before the wedding to help finalize design, at no additional cost. This was not offered by any other florists we spoke to. They didn't have any hidden fees, up-charges for rentals, or delivery fees. When we hired Flowers by Angel we thought we were hiring florists, but they did more than just flowers on our wedding day! They brought the entire ballroom together with beautiful center pieces, table runners, candles and even a flower arch behind our sweetheart table. There are not enough words to describe the exceptional service provided by Tyler and Angel. I highly recommend hiring them for your floral needs. They are creative and responsive individuals who will help you transform your wedding dreams.
