Since day one I felt like I was in good hands and that's hard to do given that there's really nothing they can sample for you with a particular flower or color scheme. I was beyond worried hiring a florist for our event but working with Lovorka and Isabelle I was completely at ease. I sent ideas and flowers that were must haves and they created such beautiful designs. Trust their craft! Thank you so much ladies, loved everything!

We hired Lovorka and Isabelle as our florists for our wedding, and we were blown away by how amazing the flowers were. All of the guests at our wedding commented on how beautiful our flowers were, and we were very happy as well. Both Lovorka and Isabelle are very professional, and it was a pleasure to work with them. I would highly recommend them, and you won't regret it if you hire them for your wedding!

If you’re looking for perfect flower arrangements for your wedding day, look no further! I used Flowers by Laurel for my wedding in December. Due to Covid restrictions in CA I was unable to have my wedding ceremony inside the Church. I was so nervous as to how the outdoor ceremony would turn out. Lovorka and her daughter Isabelle completely transformed my outdoor Church service into a truly stunning setting. They were even able to work quickly on their feet and adjust to last minute set up changes that arose during the rehearsal. I will forever be in awe of how beautiful it looked. Lovorka has such a talent of taking your vision and completely exceeding your expectations. Every single arrangement looked like it was out of a magazine. Working with Flowers by Laurel was the smoothest part of my wedding planning. Not only are they professional and punctual, but their talent radiates from each and every bouquet.

We were impressed with Flowers by Laurel from our very first meeting with them. They had come highly recommended by both our reception hotel and our photographer, and we found that Kris was warm and knowledgeable. She quickly put together ideas for our daughter’s ceremony and reception flowers that were beautiful and within our budget. When COVID restrictions resulted in churches being closed, our daughter had no choice but to postpone her wedding. Lovorka, the owner, put us at ease. She even assured us that the flowers we had chosen for a June wedding would still work in November. Through all of the constantly changing restrictions, and with the need to move both the ceremony and reception outdoors, Flowers by Laurel patiently adapted. From the time that Lovorka’s daughter Isabel delivered the stunning bouquets and personal flowers, we knew that the results would be spectacular. Isabel was always on time, and worked closely with both the church and hotel to make sure that the flowers were perfect. In the end, the gorgeous flowers transformed the outdoor space for the wedding Mass. Our reception centerpieces were also absolutely beautiful. Our wedding guests were amazed and we received many compliments. We are grateful to Flowers by Laurel for helping to make our daughter’s wedding extra special under difficult conditions.

We had a very good experience with Flowers by Laurel. Their flowers were beautiful and looked just the way we wanted them to on our wedding day. When we initially met with Kris and Lovorka, they were very helpful in forming a vision for the flowers. They're a great choice if you know generally but not specifically want you want because they'll make specific recommendations and suggestions. To be honest, Lovorka is a bit pushy about booking with them but still very nice and her daughter Kris is really lovely to work with. There were a couple things on the day of the wedding we weren't thrilled with - flowers were left out of a couple places we discussed or looked a little skimpy in places. The boutonnières for my husband and his groomsmen also weren't delivered where and when they should have been, so they're not wearing them in a lot of our first reveal and bridal party photos, which is a bit of a bummer. We think that maybe they need a couple more people to help day of event to tighten up these details. Alternatively, Kris was very generous about throwing in a couple extra things my mom wanted, including a sample centerpiece a few months before the wedding, and working through last minute items with us. Overall, our flowers were beautiful and we were very happy with Flowers by Laurel and thank them for their services!

Kris and Lavorka at Flowers By Laurel were wonderful to work with for our May wedding! They were prompt to reply to my inquiry and to initiate our first phone video consultation. I provided photos of flowers that I liked, which helped them understand my vision, and they were able to suggest flowers that would work according to season. They made the planning process easy because they are so professional, knowledgeable and dedicated. Wow! They did a magnificent job! They created spectacular, breathtakingly beautiful fragrant flower arrangements and candle décor for the tables at our formal sit-down dinner wedding reception; and the sight of the adorned tables stirred my emotions. They also created gorgeous flower displays at the church, my bridal and maid of honor bouquets, my husband’s boutonnière, and for our wedding attendants. My husband and I were extremely pleased and impressed, and we highly recommend them.

Flowers by Laurel did a beyond amazing job with all of the florals for my daughter’s wedding! We had a destination wedding and working with them could not have been more pleasant and easy. They took our vision and made the bouquets for the bride and bridesmaids like something you would see in a magazine. The floral arrangements and decor for the chapel and reception were so fabulous. Fabulous to work with! I love the way the flowers turned out - GORGEOUS!!! I had asked for red Dahlias and Ranunculus with some white accent flowers & greenery......I was blown away by the arrangements - the Bouquets, Corsages & Boutonnieres were just as stunning as the centerpieces!

Lovorka at Flowers by Laurel is truly an artist. She made our wedding so visually stunning, and went above and beyond our expectations. Not only were the bouquets and boutonnieres and centerpieces gorgeous, she also designed the arch we got married under. She has great unique ideas (smaller bouquets for the mom's instead of the traditional corsage, a flower wreath for the flower girl, a flower bracelet for our speakers during the ceremony) and truly made our vision of what we wanted come alive. In addition to the flowers, she decorated our tables beautifully with votive candles. Lovorka is by far the best business and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great florist!

Lovorka provided more than customer service! The flowers for my wedding were perfection. I had a general idea of what I wanted and she was able to translate it perfectly. From the chuppa to the tables every detail was amazing. At every turn she was able to accommodate me and never missed a beat. I appreciated her professionalism and I was completely happy with my bouquet and the flowers for the entire wedding party. My only regret is that I rented the centerpiece containers instead of purchasing them so my guests couldn't take the arrangements home. Every detail was taken care of - it was exactly what I wanted. I was so pleased with the service provided by Flowers by Laurel. Lovorka is truly an amazing artist! I had a vision of how I wanted my wedding flowers to look and Flowers by Laurel surpassed my vision!

I had searched a perfect florist for my wedding without success. I went to a wedding show at Los Verdes Golf course and met Flowers by Laurel. Lovorka took her time to talk to me in regards to all the flowers that she offered. She asked what my vision was for my wedding and really took the time to find out more about me as an individual. I set up an appointment with her and after viewing all of the beautiful flowers I signed the contract the same day. On the day of my wedding I couldn't be more happy with my flowers from my bouquet to my center pieces my wedding looked like a dream. As soon as I entered the ballroom the smell of roses possessed me. It was so beautiful in the ballroom and the flowers were the icing on the cake. I literally cried. The romantic beach feel had came to life right before my eyes and Lovoka is to thank for the beauty. I cannot thank Lovorka enough for all of her time and effort that she put into making my wedding look breath taking. She is truly an amazing soul with a creative heart. If you are looking for someone who will take her time and fully take in all of what your visions and bring them to life. I highly recommend Flowers with Laurel.

I had gone to a couple florists and had consultations, but when I met Lovorka I was sold. I told her what I wanted originally and since she's been in the business so long, she made the best suggestions. I had originally wanted a redder bouquet for myself because my bridesmaids were going to be dressed in red. She explained that since I am wearing ivory/white, all the focus would not be on me, but my red flowers because they would be the pop of color. I am an art history major, and after thinking about it, it makes total sense! I paid attention to some other bridal photos and I noticed my eyes wanted to travel to the red bouquet. She has been in this industry for 20+ years, you can trust her recommendations completely. If you really want a red bouquet she'll do it... she'll just explain it's not the best. Mine had wonderful soft pink and white peonies, little tiny springs of green hydrangeas. It went so well with my dress that any pictures besides dancing, I made sure I had it, besides my veil and crown, top accessory. My bridesmaids bouquets came out exactly like I imagined with awesome circus roses. Our mom's instead of funny pin on flowers, had their own little mini bouquets that matched mine. Did I mention that she is so awesome that we hired her for my bridal shower too? Both events looked like something out of a magazine. At my bridal shower everyone was floored by how amazing it looked, my mom did an excellent job at the high tea theme, but the flowers pushed it over the top. I can't say enough about how awesome both events turned out. You cannot over look your flowers! They are that big "detail" that goes a long way in creating the atmosphere of your big day!

My husband and I were married in August 2014 in Rancho Palos Verdes/Redondo Beach. We decided to get flowers through Flowers By Laurel and we were glad we did. It was an easy choice because when I met with the owner, she was sweet, attentive and quickly understood what I was looking for and respected our budget. I happy to work with a reputable and local business. The flowers were stunning and a great value. The whole process was as simple as can be, everything was on time the day of our wedding and beyond our expectations. I would highly recommend Flowers by Laurel.

Lovorka and her staff are incredible florists. The quality of the work they did was truly excellent. We loved the flowers that they provided for our wedding and reception. Laurel was delightful to work with--she is enthusiastic, efficient and so helpful. She listened carefully to get the exact "look" we wanted. She has tons of photos so that it is easy to see exactly what you want. Our planning day was such fun! On the wedding day, Laurel was efficient and amazing! I have never seen such huge lilies! The color combinations she put together for bouquets were spectacular! The mantle, the gazebo, the tables....all were breath-taking and unique to exactly what we had asked. She even offered to stay around to wire orchids to put in the girls' hair. Laurel is the best! I recommend Flowers by Laurel highly!

We stumbled across Flowers by Laurel just by chance. When looking for a florist I had no idea what to expect as far as price and process goes. Meeting Lavorka was a wonderful experience. She is so kind and courteous. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted but I knew that with my Secret Garden theme, the flowers had to be perfect. Lavorka helped us create a fairy tale scene. She worked with us to find affordable options and even though we strayed far from our budget- I wouldn't have changed a thing. Flowers by Laurel helped make my wedding fantastic and it shows up in the photos.To any bride who is considering skimping on flowers- I wouldn't recommend it. Having beautiful, fresh, well designed arrangements really brought the event up a notch. Friends and family are still raving about the decor and flowers.

It matters that how much flower a florist uses to make a beautiful piece. It makes a huge difference in the budget! After 6 meetings with florists I got so frustrated and every time we had to attend in the most boring meetings with them and go over the number of each bouquet or center pieces or boutonnieres and … until the venue coordinator introduced Lavorka. After a long drive we got there and she wasn’t there (later I found out there was a misunderstanding about the appointment time between two of us) and we were so ready to hate her. She arrived with her great attitude, that we both thought she was just good at marketing, but she made us love her! First of all she was so organized, she had thousands of pictures in her computer all categorized by colors and then types. So I could see exactly what I want and compare them rather than talking about that specific flower that I could never pronounce or heard about or had seen many years ago in a picture. She is an artist and has years of experience. So she could see the whole picture not just FLOWERS and her comments were really helping me to decide. Trust her! She knows what she is doing and apparently she reads your mind too. She knew what I wanted better than I did. She gave me a quote with all the details. Off course she asked for my budget because she could work with any budget but she doesn’t go cheap so she explained different options to stay within our budget. She was confident about the flowers she could use. Other florist was keep telling me that everything depends on the flower market at the day and if they could find that kind of flower that day. With my dark bluish purple theme that I had hard time explaining to them the color I meant, I couldn’t trust anyone else. When we signed the contract we were sure we had chosen the right one (for some reason during the wedding planning process this kind of confidence is a very rare feeling) 2 weeks before wedding I asked my made of honor to call all vendors and reconfirm everything and when she called Lavorka she said she needed to see us again to finalize some few pending items and since we were in panic mood, frustrated, tired, behind the schedule and short in time got so crazy about it. But we went there anyway and I am glad we did (and make sure you go too). She was able to revive all the wedding excitement again. I don’t know how she did that but we were relaxed and focused after that meeting. She took us to her workshop and showed us some of prepared stuff for the coming weddings and she asked me to try one of those bouquets and look in the mirror and … I was reassured and excited when I left there. On the wedding day she arrived on time. Our flowers looked a lot more beautiful than what I imagined. She cared about every single detail. She stayed there until we all got ready. She moved all dual purposed center pieces from our Persian arrangement to the reception tables and arch flowers to the sweetheart table. She took picture like a family member. Make sure to have her in your bridal room. Her energy and comments are the gifts you could use. My bouquet last until 12 days after wedding although I throw it 2 times and I never put it back into the water that night. Center pieces were elegant, perfect size, full and fresh She had enough extra flowers so she could decorate any last minutes changes or missings. She never charged us for all extra stuff she brought.

I have never been married before so planning a wedding was like learning a new language. I had no idea where to start or what the heck I was doing. All I knew for certain is that I wanted it to be perfect and gorgeous with no game plan. Tall order, I realize but I can be a little HM in that way sometimes. I chose Flowers by Laurel based on the fact that she was the first name on a list of recommended vendors by my venue and by her website. The flowers on her website looked amazing and much better than the other vendors'. I also met her very briefly at a bridal event held by my venue and I recalled her saying she had been doing flowers for that venue for 20+ years. Experience is key. When I met with Lavorka, I brought her ideas of flowers I liked and she guided me through photos on her computer. At the end of the meeting, the cost of the flowers were a little higher than my budget. I chose pretty expensive flowers but still thought maybe the price was a little high. However, I could tell that this woman really enjoys her job and she had really good, positive energy so I decided it would be worth it and agreed to pay a deposit. By our second meeting, we went through some more details and ideas and I ended up spending a lot more money than I anticipated. But I really wanted to do everything she suggested. I didn't feel like she was being pushy at all, I felt like she was genuinely making good suggestions. When we looked at our new total, my fiance gave me the "Are you sure about this?" look. I felt like I was pretty sure. As it got closer and closer to the wedding date I started getting anxious about everything, including my flowers. I though that maybe Lavorka didn't really understand my vision and maybe I spent too much money. Holy crap. Why wasn't I more specific?!! What if my flowers suck?! What if I got ripped off? I don't know if I'm sure about this anymore!!! Oh no!!!! Aaaaaaah!!!!!! The day of my wedding...I was SO relieved and SOOOOOO happy. Lavorka EXCEEDED my expectations by ten fold. My flowers were GORGEOUS!! The wedding arch looked amazing, the centerpieces were so beautiful, even the flower petals in the aisle were done just perfectly. And my bouquet? You wanna know about my bouquet?!! It was absolutely AMAZEBALLS!! Even my photographer said that it was the nicest bouquet she'd seen. I was in love with my bouquet. The boutonnieres were so cute and perfect. The pictures I'm posting don't do the flowers justice. Everyone remarked on how gorgeous all the flowers were. So...that was my experience. Everyone is different. I am a person who does not mind paying extra for quality and I am really glad I did. Flowers by Laurel did a perfect job.

Lavorka is no basic florist she is a on artist with a beautiful soul and heart. Speaking and working with her felt like connecting with someone tied to their craft and understands all aspects of the beauty behind creating works of art that are these flower arrangements. She gave me confidence in her vision, experience and love for what she does for her brides. She made a special connection with me and somehow through that connection and love the flowers came out especially beautiful. I am so grateful they turned out so well better than I could have ever expected.

I feel like part of my disappointment with my flowers was my fault for not being aggressive enough, but I really didn't know what I was doing. (Hey, I've never been married before!) Some of the things we ordered were beautiful and exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately, these were pre-wedding event flowers. When I saw my bouquet, I was SO disappointed. I let it go, because I had other things to think about, but now when I look at pictures, I am just pissed. My colors were dark orange and hot pink. We looked through a ton of photos to see what types of flowers I liked. Lovorka showed me some roses and I said "but not that color, right? because those are light peach?" and I was told, no they would be the correct color. So what's in my bouquet - the peach roses I specifically said I did not want. And my hot pink flowers were nowhere to be found - they were all purple. I even brought samples of my colors so I don't know why the colors were such a mess. If I ever need to use a vendor for a similar event, I would demand a sample prior to the event to make sure we're all on the same page. Overall- the flowers were beautiful, but they kind of screwed up all of my wedding decor by being the wrong colors. My photographer is going to try to color correct them for me in some photos. :( And they almost never return emails, but if you call they are responsive.

The flowers turned out amazing!!! My colors were blue and orange and they captured them beautifully. All the flowers were fresh and lasted for over a week... the team even came by after the reception to break everything down and fill my parents home full of flowers in vases.

Lovorka will deliver the most beautiful arrangements you have ever seen! She spent hours with me listening to me and getting to know me so she could arrange exactly what I wanted. She is a true artist and works best if she has some creative freedom, but once you see her vast portfolio, you will soon realize that you will not be disappointed. I was blown away by the lush, rich bouquets and centerpieces.

Lovorka is a sweetheart and the moment I spoke to her on the phone, I knew she was the one I wanted to hire! She was very understanding of my theme and budget and gave me so many suggestions. She would always respond to my emails and on the day of my wedding, she just blew me away with the arrangements! They were even better than what I had imagined. Excellent customer service and you definitely get your money's worth -- I would highly recommend this vendor!

We spent much more on our flowers than we originally intended and Lavorka did the wrong pink for the bridesmaids bouquets and the centerpieces. I told her my colors were baby pink and brown and I wanted all the flowers to be baby pink. My bouquet was correct and the sweetheart table, the chuppah and the pews were correct but the rest was hot pink. I wrote her 2 emails about it after my wedding and she never responded to me. For what I paid for my flowers, I think I deserved at least an apology. I would not recommend this vendor!

She took my vision and converted it into a masterpiece. She works within your budget to make your venue look spectacular. I loved working with her and would recommend her to any bride looking for a great florist.

Alix, at Flowers by Laurel was wonderful! Extraordinary talented, and was able to identify our tastes immediately. She also came up with wonderful ideas based on the flowers of the season that we used. She was able to work within our budget and make the flowers look fabulous.;It is important that you feel comfortable with your floral designer, and that you express your desires. We found a great designer who worked with us without pushing for more than we wanted, but we did interview several who were pushy about how things 'should' be. Don't be intimidated by florists, or let them talk you into things you don't really want. Find a person you feel comfortable working with.
