Flowers by Olga

My daughter hired Flowers by Olga to do her wedding flowers. She was so excited! She anticipated a beautiful bouquet of fresh colorful flowers! However, there seemed to have been a type-o on the email she had sent and Kaity never confirmed the wedding date with my daughter (Kaity's customer) in any of the emails or phone conversations. Kaity claims the invoice had the date, but I was sent a link with a "payment button" that I simply clicked, proceeding in good faith, to pay the bill. Kaity had her down for a big Monday wedding in August. Kaity managed to "throw something together" for my daughters wedding, which consisted of black eyed susans, queen anns lace and milkweed. Not $500 worth of flowers I had paid for. After several attempts of contacting Kaity (including an email stating I was blocked) I finally was able to reach her. All I was requesting was that we pay for what we were given. A fair market value for the half dead flowers we received. After several emails back and fourth, She finally agreed to a refund but I have yet to see it. If I do receive a refund, I will report back. All the other vendors we worked with had confirmed the wedding date several times with us to ensure everything was correct. It's too bad Kaity hadn't done the same. It would have saved a lot of headache for everyone involved.
