Flowers by Zoie

Zoie absolutely delivered with the flowers for our wedding!!! Zoie was very communicative and responsive throughout the planning process. She helped guide us through picking the best flowers for our wedding when we didn’t have a concrete vision. On the day of the wedding, she was punctual and accommodating, and all the flowers were exactly what we had envisioned! Overall, we could not have been picked a better florist for our wedding!

Zoie was an absolute pleasure to work with. We didn't have a set theme for flowers just a rough idea. We gave her as much creative freedom as she wanted to design our floral arrangements and she went above and beyond our expectations! The flowers were delivered and set up with no issues! The flowers are very obviously high quality as we are nearly a week our from our wedding and they still look as beautiful as they did the day of our wedding. I can't recommend or thank Zoie enough!

Flowers by Zoie made the most beautiful arrangements for my daughter's wedding! The flowers were so fresh and lush. The roses were huge and lasted well over a week. My daughter planned the wedding without a coordinator, and Zoie took the lightest instructions and ran with it, which was such a stress reliever. I am so appreciative that she made things so easy for us, as well as so beautiful!

Zoie was so easy to work with! She took my vague ideas and ran with them turning them into absolutely breathtaking pieces. We were so thankful to be surrounded by such beauty on our special day!

We loved everything about having Zoie do the flowers for my daughter's wedding! She understood the vision my daughter had and designed the most beautiful flowers to complete that vision. She also worked with the baker of wedding cake as that was topped with fresh flowers that coordinated with the bouquets and ceremony arbor. Zoie is such a sweet person and very gifted for sure. Stunning work! Highly recommend!

Zoie was AMAZING to work with, I had no idea what I needed/wanted for flowers, I was about to send her photo inspiration from Pinterest and she provided so many options to choose from making my dream come true. The flowers for my wedding ended up being sooooo gorgeous. Zoie professionalism and knowledge is 10 out of 10. Pricing is very reasonable, highly recommend her for any floral needs.

We were getting married in a town we did not live in and hours away so it made meeting people and planning much harder. From the very first conversation with Zoie we sent picture ideas to her for what we were looking for but not exactly sure of the entire look. This is where Zoie’s expertise came in and she gave amazing ideas and knew exactly what we were looking for. You can tell this is her passion the way she talks about flowers and her enthusiasm! When the flowers arrived on the wedding day everyone was in awe of how beautiful they looked! Everything was arranged beautifully!

Zoie really helped my flower vision come to life! I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted in regards to flowers, and she had so many great ideas and I was able to have everything I wanted at a reasonable price!

I'm going to be that person and say that if I could give Flowers by Zoie zero stars, I would. Zoie literally did nothing for me. I sent an email, directly through the Flowers by Zoie website, to schedule a consultation for my wedding flowers. After no response for a week, I then called Zoie... she immediately answered and made an appointment with me. My appointment was supposed to be June 10th at 5:15pm. I specifically chose that time because my mom was off work and could come down from Fredericksburg and go to the consultation with me. Well it's June 10th at 5:15pm and my mom and I (again, my mom came all the way from Fredericksburg to be there with me) are sitting outside of the Flowers by Zoie shop and no one is there. I called twice, leaving a voicemail the second time. So this put my mom and I in a bad spot... I didn't want it to be a wasted trip for my mom, this was the last thing we needed to do for my wedding, so I started calling every florist shop in Richmond. Most were already closed or were closing at 6pm... it's 5:25pm by this point. The ones that were still open required me to make an appointment and I couldn't just walk in that evening. Until I called Flowerama. They closed at 6pm, but still allowed my mom and I to come in after closing for a consultation (we didn't get there until 6:10pm due to rush-hour traffic). Sally was wonderful and never once tried to rush us even though it was late. Anyways, it is now July 1st and Zoie hasn't even bothered to get back me. No apology, nothing. I'm incredibly disappointed... due to her great reviews and the proximity of her shop to my home, I was hoping it would work out. But after bailing on the appointment and not even returning my call, I will not recommend her to anyone.

I worked with Zoie to have boutonnieres, corsages, bouquets, centerpieces, and two large arrangements made for my wedding and it all turned out beautiful. Zoie was very easy to work with and her services are very reasonably priced! Although I live out of state, communicating and sharing photos of my ideas through email was easy and efficient. When I realized some of my original plans weren't going to work for our ceremony-to-reception room flip, Zoie was very flexible and helped me make some changes to make sure everything went smoothly and came together without any issues. Zoie is absolutely amazing. She will make all of your wedding dreams come true and make it within budget for you. She knows what's she's doing and she will make sure you feel confident with everything. She goes out of her way to make the flower buying process a breeze and answers all of your questions.

Working with Flowers by Zoie was great! The bouquets and arrangements she made for my wedding were gorgeous, she really captures my vision perfectly. She was also easy to work with and very flexible if I had changes I wanted to make along the way. The price was very reasonable as well. I'd happily recommend Flowers by Zoie to any bride!

Zoie was amazing to work with! I had a hard time finding a florist who listened to what I envisioned and didn't try to add things on as I wanted my flowers to be pretty simple. Zoie listened to what I wanted and made it better than I ever envisioned. My flowers were fresh and beautiful. I received so many compliments on them throughout the night and I still have people asking who did my flowers. From the bouquets to the boutonnieres to the arrangements on the table, everything was perfect. Thank you Zoie for everything! We loved it all!

I couldn't have imagined better flowers for our special day!!! When they showed up promptly at the hotel where we were getting ready I couldn't stop staring at my beautiful bouquet :) The vision Zoie had for my florals was incredible, and she truly outdid my wildest dreams!

I had mixed feelings about Flowers by Zoie. I met her at the Richmond Wedding Convention and loved her displays so much that I made an appointment with her and booked her immediately. A lot of what she had out was the feel I was looking for and her work was beautiful. I do however have a few complaints... I feel like it was very hard getting on the same page with her. Several times I had to clarify what type of flowers she would be using and the colors because she wouldn't always update or change the quote to what we had discussed. I mentioned not wanting any red that my colors were burgundy and a dusty rose color with a bunch of ivory and greenery. She didn't use flowers that we had discussed (which was fine but I wish she would have told me) some of the flowers that were pink weren't really the shade I wanted (again I didn't mind this as much) and she had red ribbon on the corsages and boutonnieres so it clashed a lot with everything else in the pictures. I wish if she didn't have ribbon that was burgundy or wasn't able to get it she would have called or emailed me asking if another color would be fine.. I definitely would have rather had a different color in the wedding like ivory, gold or a light pink shade but definitely not red!.... I also gave her a picture for how I wanted the floral arrangement on the wedding welcome sign and it wasn't like what I showed her at all and again she used a red ribbon. I feel like she couldn't easily said I can't do it that way but I can do this instead...and I would've been fine. Overall I was just disappointed with the lack of communication when it came to changes or if she wasn't able to do certain things. Really disappointed that she used red... I feel like that's an obvious don't if someone tells you point blank I don't want red. I would not recommend using her if you are particular and know what you want but if you're open to suggestions and go with the flow then I would recommend her. Overall her work and pricing is good so I would consider using her again I would just make sure she would know I would need more communication.

Zoie does amazing work. She is so easy to communicate with and had no problems changing a few things up for me when we finalized decorations and guest count for our wedding. Not to mention, my bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets were so stunning. They helped my pictures pop and everytime I looked at them after that day I couldn't help but smile. We also had Zoie make mason jar centerpieces for us and a large display to go on the mantle in our venue- nothing short of incredible and reasonably priced compared to the crazy wedding world. I would not hesitate to use her and her staff again!

Zoie was amazing! She was so easy to work with and was great at working within my budget. She showed up on my wedding day and transformed my venue into exactly what I pictured. The flowers were gorgeous and super fresh. Everyone complimented my bouquet and all of the floral throughout the night. I was very overwhelmed at first when picking a florist, but Zoie handled everything and I never had to worry for one second about the flowers. She is truly amazing!

Zoie was AMAZING to work with!! She was so sweet and knowledgeable and she sat with us and step by step explained the process and went over every detail to help our vision come to life. The bouquets were stunning and the center pieces brought the reception to life. She even did little arrangements to put on my cake and on the welcome signs. We highly recommend her!!

Zoie was very pleasant and great to work with. All the flowers were beautifully made. We picked an uncommon flower and she was able to accommodate us and they were beautiful. All the bouquets lasted for over 2 weeks. She delivered them on time and very fresh. Very reasonably priced as well.

Zoie did such a lovely job putting together the flowers for my wedding. From day one, she was professional and fun to work with. She responded to my inquiry in less than a day, and was able to quickly set up a meeting to learn about my needs. She presented me with a lot of options and got very creative to be able to work within my budget! When my fiancé and I decided to postpone our wedding (two weeks out!), she was not only flexible and understanding, but was extremely supportive of our decision and patient for us to set a new date. We re-scheduled a few months later, and as we had a new venue and a few other changes, she was extremely willing to meet with me again to make sure everything was going to work for those new needs. On wedding day, she was on time and "did her thing" to get the flowers and greenery where they needed to be, and I didn't have to worry about a thing! Everything was beautiful (we received many compliments!) and just what I was hoping for. I highly recommend Flowers by Zoie for your wedding or event! Thank you so much Zoie for helping our "woodsy" wedding come to life!

My wife and I could NOT have been more pleased with how our bouquets turned out! We told Zoie during our consultation that I wanted a brightly colored bouquet with an assortment of flowers. I have her a few flowers that I definitely wanted in there and let her do her thing. My wife did the same. Everything was beautiful! From the bridal bouquets to the bridesmaid bouquets, to the boutonnières/corsages and decorative flowers, we couldn't have been more pleased. We would definitely recommend her!

Working with Zoie for our wedding flowers was the easiest part of my planning process. I met with her and immediately loved her ideas and suggestions. I was so excited when she came to the venue to drop off the bouquets. They were perfect and more beautiful than I ever could have imagined! So much so that I've preserved my bouquet for a wedding shadow box. Thank you Zoie!!

I met Zoie at the Richmond Wedding Expo, and the moment I knew was when she told me that I could have whatever flower I wanted at any season, it just took her finding it. I also had seen gold calla lillies, and Zoie made sure I had spray painted silver Callas in my bouquet, which werent even the best part. She had giant blooms (I can't remember the flower) that were neon blue and green and purples and went amazing with my peacock theme. Everyone gushed over the flowers and how hard it must have been for them to come together so perfectly...and thats all thanks to Zoie!

I met with Zoie and was so very pleased!! She showed me all sorts of flowers and offered suggestions, which I asked her for her input. She is so creative and wonderful to work with. She and her crew were there setting up and were so efficient!! The flowers she designed were more beautiful than I could have imagined!! Lots of compliments on everything, especially my flowers...the most beautiful pomander..everything was perfect!!! Thanks to Zoie!!

Zoie was very pleasant while meeting with her. All of my flowers were as imagined except for my bouquet which to me was the most important bouquet out of the bunch. My bouquet was super small and we paid a lot for that bouquet and showed her a picture of what we wanted so that for me was the biggest disappointment. She was nice to me, however I could tell she had a little attitude on the day of. My mother really experienced her attitude and didn't like it, so I decided to write this review. Zoie overall I liked your service but all, not just some, ALL of your clients should be important to you and you should treat us all with respect throughout the entire process especially on the day of. You can't imagine the stress of a bride on the day of and treating us like we were a nuisance can make things worse. My big day is done now but she by far was my biggest disappointment when it came to my outside vendors so I had to post.

We had a wonderful experience. Zoie was super helpful and could read me like a book. I thought I knew what I wanted, but was terrible at describing. She talked me through the feel I wanted and the type of wedding I dreamed of and NAILED my vision. We were fortunate to have a decent budget, but she helped us keep it in under control. I was also an out of town bride and see worked with my schedule like a pro. She also recommended a baker when my original choice dropped out and that person was just as amazing. When she arrived day of, I didn't have to do a thing. Her and her assistant took over and made everything look wonderful. If I had to do it all over, I wouldn't change anything she did!

Zoie did an amazing job on all of the arrangements, and took special care with all of my items. She did silk flowers for all of the bouquets, and real flowers for everything else. She added the special touch of electric candles in one of my alter pieces, and really brought everything together with a few of the same flowers. Zoie was always professional, and always very caring and considerate. I loved working with Zoie, and hope that I get another chance to work with her in the future.

We absolutely LOVED Zoie! when we met her she was so down to earth and easy to work with! she did an amazing job with out flower arrangements and they lasted 2 weeks after we got married!!! I would use her again in a heart beat!

I had a bouquet, corsages and boutonnieres made as well as a memory vase made. Flowers were fresh and beautiful! I met with Zoie and she was quick to look at photos of what I had seen online and interpret what I wanted. VERY friendly and wonderful to work with!

I went to a couple of florists in the area, but none were personable and imaginery as Zoie. She took my ideas from paper and from my idea and made them more than I could have dreamed.

I worked with Flowers by Zoie for my wedding. Zoie made my centerpiece arrangements, cake topper & decor, bouquets, and boutonnières. They were BEAUTIFUL. When I first met with Zoie, I gave her my ideas and told her what I was imagining. She perfectly created what I wanted at a very reasonable price and she was SO GREAT to work with. I can't say enough wonderful things!

Zoie at Flowers by Zoie was great to work with. She was quick to respond to any emails I sent and was always willing to work with my ideas. We sat down and went through my ideas and she took my ideas and turned them into the most beautiful centerpieces,bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids, and a gorgeous trellis decoration. She also came and setup all of the flowers at the venue and tied individual mini bouquets on each row of chairs for the ceremony and placed extra bouquets around the venue for a great tied-in look. She's super easy to work with, has lots of great ideas, and is very affordable.

Flowers by Zoie was wonderful to work with! Zoie was incredibly personable, helpful, and insightful. When my husband and I first met with Zoie, she listened to all of our suggestions, looked at all the pictures we brought, asked about what we liked and didn't like, and paid careful attention to the vision we had for our wedding. We felt like she created a custom order for us based exactly on what we wanted. She also gave us a lot of great suggestions that helped our vision be even more beautiful. She worked incredibly hard to make sure everything was perfectly set up/delivered on time on our wedding day. Not to mention, her flowers were absolutely beautiful!

Everything was what I asked for in the budget that I was able to work with. However, my bouqet was smaller than all my other bridesmaids bouqet and I was not aware of this till my maid of honor and mother told me they had to take out some of the flowers from the centerpieces and add to my bouqet. Everything else was beautiful and flowers were spot on.

Zoie is fabulous. I found Zoie at a Bridal show. I had been disappointed by another florist and was a little frustrated. Zoie was awesome I explained what I wanted and she gave a few suggestions and was very affordable. The flowers were beautiful! Her shop is fun to explore, lots of antiques and other things to look at. If you need a florist in Mechanicsville or Richmond area I would highly recommend her.

When I first called Zoie, she was very helpful over the phone and gave me an estimated price of what flowers would cost for my wedding by asking me a few questions. She is a talented floral designer and will work with what you ask for, and will make great suggestions if you don't know exactly what you want. Her prices are very fair. In fact, I asked her to work within a certain budget and she respected that. My wedding was out of town in Charlottesville and she had no problem traveling there for a small fee. My mom and I had a couple of meetings with her (she is also responsive by email) to tell her the ideas that we had and we could tell she was experienced. On my wedding day, it was the best feeling to arrive at the venue and see Zoie setting up the ceremony decorations. Then, she dropped off the bouquets and boutonnieres and was on her way. It was as simple as telling her what we wanted and her showing up on the day of the wedding to set up. She is a pleasure to work with and I would definitely recommend her services for your wedding!

Having a winter wedding indoors and a small flower budget, I didn't ask for a lot with my florist. When I met with Zoie, I had no idea what I wanted for my bouquet or the centerpieces. I explained what I liked and then she helped me pick out a design. My bouquet was beautiful, she added bling and the palest pink roses. The centerpieces were also perfect for the venue, being very simple and understated. Everything was delivered on time and in great condition.

Zoie was so wonderful to work with. Flowers were something that my mother was so excited to do. She drove from Atlanta that morning to meet Zoie later in the day. Zoie made my mother feel so great about our wedding and they were very much on the same page with what my mother was looking for. The centerpieces, altar flowers, etc all looked amazing!
