Kay was an amazing florist to work with for our small "pandemic" wedding! From our first meeting, I knew she understood my style and preferences and made me feel at ease (and validated!) with those preferences. I loved having the design board available online to refer back to throughout the wedding planning process. She made sure that every piece of my bouquet, parents' flowers, and centerpieces was perfect. I'm so glad that my venue recommended her!

Kay Black does extraordinary work!! Right from the start she was organized, had my pinterest board up and even put together a folder of commonalities I had posted to give us a better sense of what I was looking for. Our order was really easy - only needing a few bouquets and Kay made the process seamless! After our meeting I immediately knew she was the one I wanted designing my bouquet. She brought my vision to light and it was more than perfect! On the day of the wedding she even asked for my approval on the bouquet and ribbon that I had requested and made sure I was happy with all of it before she left. I highly recommend working with Kay and wish I had more events to plan just so I could see her beautiful artwork come to life!

Kay was great to work with. She is very organized and on top of the logistics of things. More importantly, our wedding flowers were AMAZING!!!! I could not have pictured a more beautiful bridal bouquet if I tried, it even trumped all the pinterest flowers I had looked at. Our reception area looked great as well with beautiful centerpieces and a gorgeous head table flower garland. Kay definitely listened to exactly what I wanted and she nailed it! Kay was absolutely wonderful to work with! My wife and I were in AWE when the final products were delivered. Kay was punctual, prompt, productive and so very professional. My gentlemen were SHARP with their boutenieres! But, the ladies... they were exquisite and my bride was purely stunning with their bouquets. Kay had a perfect rendition of the flowers with hops we suggested and the cake was flawless! Kay's work was truly top of the charts and others would be crazy not to work with her. We are thankful she was part of our team on such a beautiful day. We love her work and highly recommend!!

I was absolutely blown away by how great of a job Kay did of my flowers. From start to finish she was by far the best vendor to work with. She was very organized and always communicated ahead of time to keep everything going smoothly. She is an absolute pleasure to work with and relieved so much stress for me. We can't thank Kay enough for all of her help. Everything was absolutely perfect and the planning process/day of the wedding was made incredibly easy. Kay and her team were prompt with the set-up and take-down of our florals. The transition from ceremony to reception decor was seamless. We were married during the first week of December and are still receiving compliments on the beautiful decorations and floral displays. Our guests were so impressed with how flawlessly our winter forest theme came together. Kay was always available to answer questions, make changes, and add to our order. We're so happy that we chose Flowers for You as our floral vendor.

Kay knocked my wedding floral vision out of the park. I planned my Oregon wedding from across the country, with only email and phone correspondence between us. Not only was she SO responsive (even after having a baby!) but she always wonderfully handled my last minute changes and uncertainty. When the flowers arrived day of, I just about cried. She took my vision I sent her via pinterest and absolutely killed it. I could not have asked for anything better at all. So kind, professional and affordable. I could not recommend her more!

Kay was absolutely amazing to work with from day one. She is professional, kind, easy going and has so much talent for creating beautiful floral pieces! After our wedding we got so many compliments on our floral arrangements - they were breathtaking and one of our favorite parts about the wedding decor. They really brought everything together. Even when last minute things came up on the day of, she was so accommodating and worked with us to make everything perfect. Kay truly helped make our dream wedding come to life and we are so grateful for all her hard work. We could not have chosen a better florist to be a part of our big day!

Words cannot express how happy I was with the flowers at my daughters wedding provided by Flowers For You. The owner, Kay Black was just amazing to work with! Not only is she the most creative florist, she was so professional, brilliant with her ideas, prompt before and after the wedding,vand worked within our budget down to the penny! I absolutely LOVED working with Kay at Flowers For You! She not only is an amazing florist, but a wonderful person. She was very responsive from the beginning and worked with me to make sure that I got exactly what I envisioned for my big day. She had amazing suggestions and ideas, but was also very understanding of my budget. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted, but using different pictures and our wedding theme, Kay created a magical set up and floral bouquets for my wedding, which was better than I could ever imagine! From the archway to my bouquet to the reception centerpieces...she totally nailed it and my day was perfect in large part because of her. I got so many compliments from vendors and guests about the beautiful flowers-I think many people were wishing they had found her for their weddings! I couldn't have asked for a better person to work with and I am so grateful that I found Kay. I can't ever thank her enough and I highly recommend her to anyone needing flowers and decor for any occasion!

We are so happy with Flowers For You! Kay did an incredible job with the flowers at our wedding! She completely understood the look we wanted to accomplish at our ceremony and reception and had so many great ideas during our meetings that made us really excited about her vision from the start. There were flowers and greenery everywhere (even in the chandeliers!) and it all was beautiful :) My bouquet absolutely took my breath away! I knew Kay was absolutely amazing from the minute we talked on the phone! Having shared some photos of the vibe I wanted, but without really knowing how to describe this in detail or put it into words, Kay's responses and suggestions immediately told me that she is great at her job and knew what to do. When our plan ran into a little issue, she immediately backed me up and worked with our coordinators for a resolution. My husband and I were blown away by how perfect our florals were, and of Kay's professionalism, how nice she is, and overall had such a great experience!

Kay was absolutely wonderful to work with. From the initial meeting we were so impressed, and then working with her throughout was amazing. She is so quick to respond and answered so many of my questions. On the wedding day she showed up right on time and delivered our bouquets and set up the rest of the ceremony and reception floral. Kay went above and beyond in helping prepare for our wedding. In our first meeting she was very realistic when I had ideas that were a little too extravagant. She let me know upfront what things would cost and was able to give me cheaper yet still beautiful alternatives. I loved her personality and commitment to making my vision come true. In working with her, she was always very responsive and willing to change anything and suggest any ideas. She even moved heaven and earth to make my flowers come to life after some crazy weather and the flowers arriving 4 days late...she only had 48 hours to make all the bouquets and they were absolutely perfect!! I would HIGHLY recommend using Miss Kay...she is amazing and will give you exactly what you want to make your wedding dreams come true!

I really enjoyed working with Kay. But unfortunately I have to give her a 3. I showed her photos of what I wanted for my bridesmaids and she did fabulous, I showed her what we wanted for centerpieces and she did fabulous... but the most important thing.... my bouquet... she didn't execute properly... I showed her photos and she didn't do mine the way I wanted at all... instead she made my bouquet basically match my bridesmaids and added some foliage... I wanted a beautiful cascading bouquet but I got a Pom Pom bouquet. Maybe she just forgot and I didn't remind her enough. But, truly, Kay was awesome to work with. Just didn't get the bouquet I was hoping for.

Working with Kay was great! She was responsive, creative, and professional. I chose her as our florist right after meeting with her; she is just so personable and fun. Her creations were SO beautiful and fragrant (lots of lilies) and I would recommend her to anyone! We spent a little more than we had anticipated… but lilies are expensive. And it was so worth it!

Kay was AWESOME to work with. She listened to all of my ideas and then found a way to make them a reality while staying in budget. The bouquets she made were absolutely beautiful and exactly what I had in mind. She is really talented, and great to work with! I'd highly recommend her.

We had many problems with the floral products from this florist. This is a list of some of the problems: 1. The usher boutonnieres were unusable. The roses were cut so close to the bud that there was no stem, so the boutonnieres fell apart when we tried to pin them onto the boys' shirts. Consequently, the boutonnieres were useless and could not be worn. 2. The mother corsages were small, brown and dying. They looked so pathetic that we were embarrassed to wear them. We promptly discarded them after the ceremony, since they were dead within the hour. For years we have purchased gardenia corsages and know that they should be large, white and should last for several days. 3. The Maid of Honor bouquet did not contain the flowers we discussed. They flowers that were used were poorly displayed and dying. 4. The Bride's bouquet was literally falling apart during the ceremony. We asked that it made predominately of gardenias and it was not. We were left dumbfounded, angry and completely disappointed, since we could do nothing to correct the floral presentations. I question the judgement of this florist since these flowers should NEVER have been delivered to a wedding or any other event.

Kay did an amazing job with our Flowers! During our consultation she sat down with me and actually talked about everything with me. And all the flowers turned out even better than I could have imagined! They were the perfect final touch to our fall themed wedding. I would recommend Flowers for You to any Bride and Groom!

We could not have been more pleased with our experience with Kay at Flowers For You. She was upbeat, knew how to interpret our vision for flowers, and her prices were very reasonable. And, since she was a preferred vendor with our venue, her experience with the space enabled her to give us great advice, and communication directly with the venue planner on coordination details, which resulted in a positively seamless experience.

Kay was beyond amazing. Superb would be a better word for her work. From our first meeting she was able to use my beyond messy Pinterest board and see our vision. She helped us become realistic on what we could do versus what we could not do based on the time of year. About 5 months before the wedding, we realized we were way over budget. I called Kay and she was able to slice our flower budget in half by using different flowers and changing the feel a bit. When we walked into the reception space the day of the wedding, I started crying. It was magical. She did a phenomenal job and made our dreams come true! Thank you so much Kay! You Rock!

Absolutely Perfect!!! Kay from flowers for you is so passionate about what she does and it shows in every detail of her work! The first time we met with Kay we knew we wouldn't have to worry for a second about our flowers. She took the time yo listen to our ideas and look at pictures of what we liked and she knew immediately the look we were going for. What I loved about Kay (beyond her excitement) was that when we told her what we wanted and what our budget was she immediately found a way to have both! She offered different types of flowers that would keep us well within our budget and still give us what we wanted which many other florists I talked to didn't offer. On the day of the event she was there early and did all of the set up on her own making sure that our vision was never compromised. Kay was one of the best parts of our whole wedding!!

Kay from Flowers for You was awesome!! I had met with 2 other florists before meeting with her and I knew instantly that I wanted to hire her. She is super friendly, affordable and understands what brides are going through. She made it so easy for me to decide what I wanted to do for my wedding. I showed her the pictures of the flowers and colors that I wanted and she did a great job replicating them!! The orange roses were the perfect combination for my fall wedding! The quality and experience were worth every penny and I highly recommend her to anyone. I will be using her for all my floral needs from now on.

I wanted to use the floral from Flowers For You as a big statement at our wedding. Kay incorporated the flowers beautifully into each aspect of the ceremony and reception. I didn't know much about floral arrangements and flowers in general and put a lot of trust into what she would create. I couldn't have been more impressed with what she designed and put together. I basically told her the colors I wanted and she did the rest. We had a lot of compliments about all the arrangements and I was thrilled with them. Simply amazing. I was able to do all of my flower planning with Kay long distance. My wedding was in Portland and I live in Tacoma. I sent her example of the things that I loved. I talked with her over the phone a few times, and lots of emails. A lot of the flowers that I would have liked to have in my bouquet were out of season, but she gave me alternatives that were similar to the look that I was going for. The flowers came out exactly how I had envisioned in my head. She did a beautiful job.

I had a hard time finding a florist but when I met Kay at a bridal expo I knew she was the one right away! (yes, I am going to be that cheesy). She is a blast to work with and was quick to respond to my emails whenever I needed something. She was also flexible and easy to arrange meetings with. The flowers were beautiful and the centerpieces lasted a few weeks after the wedding! Everything was perfect!

What can I say about Flowers For You other than wow, amazing, and breath-taking. I chose Kay from Flower for You to be the florist for my wedding on October 5th 2013. I am a visual person and had a very hard time putting into words what I wanted the flowers at my wedding to look like then I met with Kay and she made the process so easy! She was able to take my vision and made it the most beautiful reality. Kay made several suggestions of how I could incorporate the flowers from the ceremony into the reception in order to help save me money. Kay was incredibly sweet and easy to work with she even sent me a card after my wedding congratulating me and thanking me for allowing her to be part of my wedding, for me that speaks volumes not only about a person but also how they run their business. I received so many compliments on how beautiful my wedding was I know the flowers provided by Flower For You were a huge part of that. I loved working with Kay from Flowers For You. I met her at the Portland Bridal Show and was drawn to her wonderful personality and lovely designs. Working with her was a fantastic experience and also very reasonable. She really listened to my vision and created something that was just as unique as it was beautiful.

Kay really pays attention. She's fun, flexible, professional, and loves putting together your vision in the form of floral arrangements. I had a lot of fun meeting and collaborating with her. She worked with me and my budget to create a beautiful array of florals for our wedding. The week of the wedding I was stressing out because I had run out of ribbon for one of my floral components. After looking everywhere for more, I had to get to Kay's for an appointment. With a smile she put me instantly at ease when she said she had the same ribbon and please not to worry. She even offered for me to call her if I had any other décor snafus in case she could help! My bouquet was gorgeous. Kay made it look exactly as I was envisioning it. She went above and beyond to help me fulfill my vision. Kay also did a beautiful job setting up our flowers at the ceremony site. I didn't have to worry about a thing because she had it all well in hand.

Kay is an amazing florist and a delightful person! I used her for my wedding on July 28th, 2013. From day one she was nothing but a pleasure to work with that radiated happiness and excitement over being able to be a part of my wedding flower process. She is kind, flexible, responsive, and truly talented at her work. I came to her with what I felt was a vague idea about the colors I wanted and some of the flowers I liked. She went through some pictures with me and her floral books, listened attentively, was patient, never pushed ideas I didn't care for, and showed genuine interest and pleasure in helping me create my floral "vision" for my wedding. I went to other florists before I decided on her and none showed the same enthusiasm and passion for their work like she did. Some other florists were condescending towards me for not knowing 100% what I wanted from day one and Kay never once said a rude word or made me feel pressured to do anything. She makes the whole process about you and what you want. Her passion is to make your flowers a dream come true and she truly did just that for me. I couldn't be happier with the way my flowers turned out and would recommend her not just for weddings but for any other floral needs. She is absolutely one of the best florists in town!

I love the florist! My flowers were beautiful! However, the bouquets when they showed up were not what I expected. I had showed her a picture of mostly pink flowers and when it showed up there were a couple of pink, a lot of white and about 6 really big...orange flowers. She was wonderful about fixing it and went and got spray paint. (They DID NOT look spray painted in the end.) However, I was somewhat disappointed there wasn't more pink. I would COMPLETELY recommend her! Just be clear about what you want.

Flowers for you by Kay was wonderful! Kay met with me many times before our wedding date to make sure everything was in order! She was so prompt on emails and stayed in contact constantly! My flowers turned out AMAZING! They were above and beyond what I expected and she even helped out with my center pieces and other little projects to make my wedding look amazing! Thank you Kay! Do yourself a favor--book Flowers for You as your wedding florist! Kay Dietl, the owner and florist, is amazing! She is really enthusiastic and loves flowers--she brings a lot of great ideas to the initial meeting, but is also great at taking your vision and budget into account. She shows no interest in the "hard sell"--just making your wedding as beautiful as possible. And she definitely follows through with this. My wedding venue was completely transformed by her floral arrangements. Not only that, my bridesmaid overhead the hotel staff (where the wedding was held) talking about the flowers when they were delivered: "Those are the most beautiful wedding flowers that I've ever seen." We also had Kay do flowers for the cake and the result was gorgeous--I didn't want to cut it! I also highly recommend her for her service. She delivered the flowers on time as scheduled, decorated the tables, the cake, the altar, and picked up all of the flowers later (she told me that this sometimes means that she doesn't go to sleep until after 2:00 am!). There is a delivery and set-up charge, but it's worth it, especially since the last thing that you want to do after a wedding is clean up the venue (and the charge was minimal). As for the value, Kay's prices seem pretty standard and the results are so beautiful that they were well worth the price. I can't recommend Flowers for You enough. Honestly, you could have your wedding in a parking garage and Kay would manage to make it look beautiful!

From our first meeting, I knew that Kay was the right florist for our wedding. Kay is such a nice, sweet person. She truly cares and wants to make the most beautiful flowers for her brides. During our first meeting I brought in a picture of exactly how I wanted my bouquet to look. Kay was completely upfront and honest with me and let me know that it would be nearly impossible for me to get the flowers I was looking for (wrong season, region and all). We worked together in order to pick out flowers that would give me the same overall look and feel of what I had been looking forward to. Flash forward to the day of my wedding, Kay came into my bridal room and presented me with my flowers. IT WAS THE BOUQUET from the pictures I HAD WANTED!! I don't know how, but she was able to order the flowers I wanted from New Zealand!! It was so special, it was one of only a few surprises for ME on my wedding day. It is something I will never forget. It really made the day that much more special. Thank you Kay! I have already told friends who are getting married within the next couple years, that they shouldn't look anywhere, but with Kay at Flowers for you!!
