Flowers On 14th

I’ve ordered flowers countless times in my life and this is the biggest disappointment I’ve experienced. I’ve called countless times to discuss it, but no one will answer. The first picture is as advertised, the second is as delivered. 1/10. DO NOT BUY FLOWERS FROM HERE!

We initially went to Flowers on Fourteenth to get a general idea about the cost for flowers as our knowledge of flowers is about zero. We had heard from pretty much everyone that wedding flower costs can easily get out of hand but were immediately put at ease that Flowers on 14th would not have any issue staying within our budget. They were quick with their initial proposal and met with/spoke with us NUMEROUS times to go over exactly what we wanted. They also were happy to switch pretty much everything up when we changed our minds in just the couple weeks before the wedding. On the day of the wedding, everything was seriously ABOVE AND BEYOND our expectations (from delivery/service to the actual arrangements). We had expected that our budget would afford us very minimal floral arrangements but were blown away by how amazing they turned out. Flowers on 14th really stepped up to make our day awesome. And we loved that we got to use a vendor so ingrained in the DC community.

Only had a small order- a bridal bouquet and some boutonnières -but had a little difficulty getting the order right the day of the wedding. Fortunately they correcting the mistakes quickly and made extra boutonnières and we still got them on time. The bouquet came out great- Makayla did a wonderful job creating a loose yet elegant look for my bouquet and using the flowers I had requested. Also, very reasonably priced.

I didn't want a huge bouquet for my wedding, so I ordered mine bridesmaid-size. I had a general idea of what I wanted, just a small bouquet of hot pink roses, and I took a picture. The final product ended up being lovely, although probably not exactly what I wanted. It was bigger, fuller, and rounder than the picture I had showed, with a few green details, that I had not asked for. I was very happy with the product, and it was much less expensive than other flower shops in the area, but if you are a very picky bride this is probably not the place to go. I also ordered several heads of hydrangea to decorate the venue, and they provided them at a very reasonable price.
