Flowers On the Green

Christy is an amazing florist at resonable prices. I had only a general idea of what I wanted, and Christy helped me pick out beautiful in season flowers. She was very honest about what we needed to spend to have gorgeous flowers that looked awesome. I think the flowers were one of my favorite parts about our wedding. All of the bouquets were perfect and many guests kept complimenting the beautiful centerpieces. All of the flowers looked spectacular!

Christie only met with me I believe two times in person and was able to create the most beautiful floral arrangements! She new exactly what was in my head! It was amazing how a couple of conversations turned into a perfect garden wedding! She can seem a little stand offish at first, but that's only because she is a creative genius! Worth every dollar!

My wedding was all about DIY. I love a good craft and being that I work as a visual merchandiser it only made sense that I would put my own personal spin on the wedding decor...bouquets included. I contacted so many florists about their inventory and had no luck getting a response. I traveled around to different locations checking out the place in person yet a few days before the wedding the only flowers I had were for the centerpieces (thank you Stop & Shop and one amazing flower stand at a farm) and my bridesmaids. My bouquet at that moment only had one focal flower and succulents. On a whim I stopped by Flowers On the Green while traveling to my parents and it was literally a godsend. Not only did they have my seeded eucalyptus, David Austin Roses and freesia but she offered a few other pieces that worked well with them and a some helpful hints on how to go about putting it all together. I came back the day before my wedding and they were all wrapped up and ready to go. My bouquet was amazing and exactly what I was going for. Oh and don't hesitate to call with any possible flower request. I had been on the hunt for King Proteas months before my wedding but eventually gave up and opted to use a pale pink bromeliad as my focal flower. Not only could I have ordered them through Flowers On the Green but they had better pricing per stem than the wholesalers online.

I felt like Christie at Flowers on the Green could read my mind when it came to picking and designing our bouquets and flower arrangements! I came in with some ideas and she really helped me make them blossom (sorry, I had to pun). She asked all about our event and attire to make sure her designs would work for our entire event. Christie was so fun and professional. In the end, we got absolutely gorgeous flowers that everyone loved.

Christie was awesome! She listened to all my ideas and came up with some amazing flowers. My mom and I went and she did a sample for us and when we wanted to change something it was no problem at all. She is great to work with and had beautiful flowers!

Christie Baker did a great job with our flowers. From the fist time I met her I knew she was passionate and creative. She took my ideas and delivered exactly what I wanted. I wanted to do something a little different for my bridesmaids and we came up with an idea to have them carry wands wrapped in ribbons with ribbon streamers and cherry blossoms. It was an outside wedding and it looked awesome with the wind blowing. I received many compliments on them. Her creativity comes out in her work and all her arrangements were beautiful. I would highly recommend using her for your event.

Christie was amazing!!! I still can't believe how gorgeous my flowers were at my wedding. I told her I wanted deep jewel tones, but I didn't know very much about actual flowers. I gave her pictures of my dress, and my bridesmaids' dresses and let her select what would work best. She knew exactly what I wanted and showed different color combinations with actual flowers during our first meeting. She was SO easy to work with and worth every cent!!

Christie Baker {owner of Flowers on the green}has got to be one of the nicest talented people I've met. From the second I walked into her shop was a pleasure to work with as well as she created the most amazing flowers for our wedding day. The center pieces to my bouquet were exactly what I had invisioned.
