nderstood our vision and the price fit into our budget for flowers. We had many phone calls and email conversations before the wedding and had no doubts that our florals were going to be something we didn’t need to worry about. On the day of our wedding, only 1 bridesmaid bouquet showed up. I had 9 bridesmaids total. My bridesmaid and family members tried to rectify the situation but were met by rude staff members who didn’t seem to care about the situation. We were going to be repurposing the flowers for our head table so I was worried I would have no decor for our table. They made small bouquets quickly and caused our ceremony to be delayed waiting for the flowers. I had booked Joy over a year in advance and was disappointed to know that she was at a wedding in Newport and sent other workers to set up our wedding. I also spoke with Joy about our color scheme and what we wanted multiple times before the wedding. The plan was for orange, peach and white flowers. My fiance loves orange so even though I wanted all white flowers, I decided to branch out and have some color for him. Our flowers for the wedding were overpowered with pink and too much greenery. I wanted whimsical arrangements and we got nothing at all even close to what we discussed. We got completely generic centerpieces that were mostly filled with greenery and no white flowers whatsoever. I trusted Joy to bring my vision to life and I was completely let down. She was always slow to respond to emails and never showed us a mock up of the flowers she would be using. In retrospect, I guess I should have reached out before, but I truly had no doubts that she understood what we wanted. I would not recommend using Joy if you are looking for creative florals. If you care about flowers, don’t go on the cheaper end and sacrifice your vision over cost. I will regret this every time I look at my wedding pictures and see the pink flowers and disappointing centerpieces that were nothing that I had wanted on my wedding day.

Joy found fake blueberries (to protect the dress from stains) that were perfect. My bouquet was incredible, and we had so many compliments on our flowers throughout the day. e Ian, Joy already anticipated that I would need to move everything indoors and was prepared accordingly before I had even spoken to her about making changes. She surprised me with a stunning structure to use inside that she had made to replace the arched gate we were going to use outside. She seamlessly worked with my husbands mom to incorporate her pieces of driftwood as one of a kind centerpieces. I also love the beautiful fresh floral hair combs she created for my bridesmaids and myself and brought them over to our Airbnb where we were getting ready. She completely brought my vision to life and couldn’t have made my wedding feel more special.

When I saw the flowers delivered day of my wedding I was quite honestly floored. It was better then I could have ever imagined. d about finding a good florist. Joy was so accommodating and helpful. We chose a popular date, which I thought would be too much of a squeeze, but she got it done and the flowers were BEAUTIFUL. With just one photo of our venue, she created something that worked perfectly. The only compromise was we had to pick up because of the late timeline and popular date, but that worked out just fine for us. She was so accommodating about finding a good time for that. I'd recommend FlowerThyme to anyone in RI or nearby CT looking for gorgeous flowers.

quets were beautiful, full and fresh. The centerpieces were all a bit different from each other and some guests made a point of checking each table out and trying to decide which was their favorite. The wrist corsages were a big hit as well as they were mounted on snap bracelets - which we loved. All the flowers - from those that graced our ceremony - to the seating chart and more were lovely and set the tone for the entire event.

She was also extremely flexible in downsizing our order due to our reduced guest list. I truly could not recommend Flowerthyme and Joy enough.

She and her team re-purposed urns and pew arrangements from our ceremony to be used at the reception on a tight schedule, and everything went very smoothly. Joy was recommended to me by my photographers as someone who made beautiful arrangements that never wilted. I liked joy right away and she was willing to work with some different ideas I had. Despite my varied ideas, joy made everything look perfect and cohesive. I couldn’t believe, for someone who was thinking of flowers as a necessity, how much I stopped to look at the arrangements on my tables. I got TONS of compliments from my guests as well. I also loved my large cascading bouquet, it came out incredible, was exactly what i hoped for, and looks amazing in my pictures. So if you’re looking for someone who can work with your budget, work with many different styles, and deliver amazing results, you need to go with flowerthyme. You won’t regret it!

s, Joy suggested that we use fairy lights to give the centerpieces some extra flair. She also did a mock up of the centerpieces so that I could see what they would look like ahead of time. The flowers looked beautiful. I am glad we chose to go with Flowerthyme.

t I was looking for for flowers. She went through Pinterest pages and pictures with me and was able to recreate my floral image exactly. My bouquet was incredible and the bridesmaid bouquets were a smaller version but just as nice. She was able to repurpose vases of flowers hung on the pews at our church and the large front floral arrangements at church in the cocktail and banquet space (as well and transport and place these items seamlessly). The floral arrangements on the table were gorgeous and the cake flowers, flower crown for my flower girl were timeless. I cannot say enough good things about Joy and Flowerthyme. I feel like we got amazing flowers while staying within our budget. Thank you so much! Everything was PERFECT
