Flowerthyme

a lot of fun to work with. She listened carefully to our thoughts and preferences, gave her expert input, and made florals that perfectly matched our vision. She was also very flexible and understanding when we needed to add some last minute additions to our proposal. Her team was friendly, timely, and professional. Would definitely recommend!

o many compliments! Would recommend Joy to anyone !

e experience. Joy was such a pleasure to work with. She was so easy to communicate with and made such a great effort to understand my vision for my wedding day! Joy and her team made an already beautiful venue extra stunning. I would 100% recommend any couple to book FlowerThyme for a wedding or any other special event :)

nderstood our vision and the price fit into our budget for flowers. We had many phone calls and email conversations before the wedding and had no doubts that our florals were going to be something we didn’t need to worry about. On the day of our wedding, only 1 bridesmaid bouquet showed up. I had 9 bridesmaids total. My bridesmaid and family members tried to rectify the situation but were met by rude staff members who didn’t seem to care about the situation. We were going to be repurposing the flowers for our head table so I was worried I would have no decor for our table. They made small bouquets quickly and caused our ceremony to be delayed waiting for the flowers. I had booked Joy over a year in advance and was disappointed to know that she was at a wedding in Newport and sent other workers to set up our wedding. I also spoke with Joy about our color scheme and what we wanted multiple times before the wedding. The plan was for orange, peach and white flowers. My fiance loves orange so even though I wanted all white flowers, I decided to branch out and have some color for him. Our flowers for the wedding were overpowered with pink and too much greenery. I wanted whimsical arrangements and we got nothing at all even close to what we discussed. We got completely generic centerpieces that were mostly filled with greenery and no white flowers whatsoever. I trusted Joy to bring my vision to life and I was completely let down. She was always slow to respond to emails and never showed us a mock up of the flowers she would be using. In retrospect, I guess I should have reached out before, but I truly had no doubts that she understood what we wanted. I would not recommend using Joy if you are looking for creative florals. If you care about flowers, don’t go on the cheaper end and sacrifice your vision over cost. I will regret this every time I look at my wedding pictures and see the pink flowers and disappointing centerpieces that were nothing that I had wanted on my wedding day.

we live in CA but got married in RI). Joy has an array of knowledge, expertise and a great eye for detail which showed through all of the arrangements on our wedding day. We cannot recommend Flowerthyme and Joy enough for the dreamiest floral needs.

nted when I saw my bouquet and centerpieces on my wedding day. The best piece was all the baby's breathe on the arch that served as the focal point for our ceremony and then our backdrop for our sweetheart table. 10/10 recommend Florwerthyme for any floral needs you might have - especially if it's for your wedding!!

advance of the wedding, and created the most beautiful flower arrangements and bouquets! Joy went above and beyond when we asked if she could help us incorporate blueberries into our florals to honor a family member. Joy found fake blueberries (to protect the dress from stains) that were perfect. My bouquet was incredible, and we had so many compliments on our flowers throughout the day. We would recommend Joy and Flowerthyme to anyone looking for stunning arrangements and a seamless experience!

t a few photos of inspo to, and she RUNS with it and EXECUTES. She was so helpful, responsive, and we are still obsessed with our wedding arch to this day. Joy is the best!

and patient as I tried to figure out exactly what I was looking for. We loved our flowers and our experience working with Flowerthyme.

to joy with a mood board of ideas and she did an incredible job of making our vision a reality and helping us think through all the details.

ned to me in our consult call and instead of forcing new ideas on me or only looking at out of budget options, she listened to what I wanted and loved and worked with my budget. I just cannot believe how well she matched my vision and cannot thank flowerthyme enough!!

ful as well! She did a great job understanding our aesthetic, and was also very helpful in suggesting options that worked within our budget. She does many weddings a year, so sometimes it can take a few days for her to get back to you, but as your wedding gets closer, she is extremely responsive and communicative. We would definitely recommend Flower Thyme to any bride/groom!

were going for, and she provided helpful suggestions to make the day look as beautiful as possible. She is a pleasure to work with and so thoughtful. We received countless compliments on our flowers, both their appearance and their design. Hire Joy. She is wonderful.

hone we felt an instant connection and knew this was the best choice ever! Joy’s knowledge was evident when we sent her a few photos of what we envisioned for our spring wedding, and she knew exactly what flowers would compliment each other. Joy was helpful, responsive, flexible, and so easy to work with. She made planning our wedding less stressful and infinitely more beautiful. She has so much experience with all RI vendors and we cannot say enough amazing things about Flowerthyme and would 10/10 would recommend for all floral needs. Thank you Joy!

y and Flowerthyme!!!

e Ian, Joy already anticipated that I would need to move everything indoors and was prepared accordingly before I had even spoken to her about making changes. She surprised me with a stunning structure to use inside that she had made to replace the arched gate we were going to use outside. She seamlessly worked with my husbands mom to incorporate her pieces of driftwood as one of a kind centerpieces. I also love the beautiful fresh floral hair combs she created for my bridesmaids and myself and brought them over to our Airbnb where we were getting ready. She completely brought my vision to life and couldn’t have made my wedding feel more special.

thing was so perfect from the ceremony flowers, boxwood wall accents, and reception flowers. Everyone commented on how beautiful the room and flowers looked. You will not regret going with Joy as your florist!

more perfect.

our ideas for the big day. Joy just GOT IT right away! She has such a successful business and is very busy but always makes the time to make you feel like you are her priority. When I saw the flowers delivered day of my wedding I was quite honestly floored. It was better then I could have ever imagined. The colors, the variety, the uniqueness of the flower selection - it was everything! Thank you Joy for making everything you touched look so beautiful. I cannot wait to see the professional photos and share them all over :)

d about finding a good florist. Joy was so accommodating and helpful. We chose a popular date, which I thought would be too much of a squeeze, but she got it done and the flowers were BEAUTIFUL. With just one photo of our venue, she created something that worked perfectly. The only compromise was we had to pick up because of the late timeline and popular date, but that worked out just fine for us. She was so accommodating about finding a good time for that. I'd recommend FlowerThyme to anyone in RI or nearby CT looking for gorgeous flowers.

imum without even hearing what I wanted. Joy took the time to listen to my vision and had me send multiple inspiration photos. She was willing to work with us to repurpose flowers in different locations for different parts of my wedding day. Everything came out so stunning, I was almost in tears when I walked into the venue and saw her work. I enjoyed working with Joy she was so kind and easy to work with. She did a great job for my Belle Mer wedding!

th us within our budget. The flowers for our wedding were simply beautiful - I was a bit clueless as to what flowers I wanted but had a color scheme vision and it came to life perfectly thanks to Joy! Can not recommend Joy and Flowerthyme enough!

ing infinitely more beautiful. I was absolutely blow away by my bouquet, centerpieces, cake and ceremony flowers. I would recommend Joy to everyone!

total trust in her and her designs. The flowers she delivered were gorgeous and exactly what I had envisioned would compliment my day. In addition to my wedding, she also created centerpieces for my bridal shower and rehearsal dinner which were equally beautiful. I would be happy to recommend Joy and Flowerthyme to any bride!!

lly sat in her office, showed her a few inspiration photos & she completely blew us out of the water with her creative style & vision on our wedding day! Her team worked so hard in making sure that every part of our venue, from the ceremony space, to cocktail hour, to the reception tent, looked gorgeous! We cannot thank you enough for all of your hard work & beautiful floral creations!

ion I had. I would recommend to anyone looking for a florist in Rhode Island. :)

quets were beautiful, full and fresh. The centerpieces were all a bit different from each other and some guests made a point of checking each table out and trying to decide which was their favorite. The wrist corsages were a big hit as well as they were mounted on snap bracelets - which we loved. All the flowers - from those that graced our ceremony - to the seating chart and more were lovely and set the tone for the entire event.

She was also extremely flexible in downsizing our order due to our reduced guest list. I truly could not recommend Flowerthyme and Joy enough.

top wedding venues. She is very affordable and works with your budget and design. Joy brought my floral vision to life. I wanted a classic, elegant venue look and our flowers nailed it. They made for the perfect simplicity amongst the grandeur of Rosecliff. I would absolutely recommend Flowerthyme for your wedding!

bove and beyond our exceptions! She transformed the venue and did it all without a hitch!

enough time. With all that said, Joy still managed to take the bit of direction I gave her, and run with it. Everything came out beautifully. The flowers were gorgeous and even though I ended up making some last minute changes the week before, she was still able to get everything done how I envisioned it. I'd definitely recommend Flowerthyme.

ts, centerpieces, and boutonnieres were gorgeous, and the various displays she put together for around the reception space were absolutely beautiful. She and her team re-purposed urns and pew arrangements from our ceremony to be used at the reception on a tight schedule, and everything went very smoothly. She also created a flower wall for our guests to take photos in front of, and it was a big hit! Thank you Joy!!!

was respectful of my price range as well. Thank you!!

represent my Scottish heritage and my husband's Greek heritage. The results were stunning!

was perfection and all of this was done while I was wedding planning from the DC area and without being able to meet with Joy in person. Joy is a wonderful person who really understands what her clients want. I felt like I was in very good hands with Joy. Flowerthyme's prices are also competitive/very reasonable. I highly recommend Flowerthyme if you're looking for beautiful, reasonably priced flowers and on-time delivery. Flowerthyme goes above and beyond. You will not be disappointed with their work.

Joy was recommended to me by my photographers as someone who made beautiful arrangements that never wilted. I liked joy right away and she was willing to work with some different ideas I had. Despite my varied ideas, joy made everything look perfect and cohesive. I couldn’t believe, for someone who was thinking of flowers as a necessity, how much I stopped to look at the arrangements on my tables. I got TONS of compliments from my guests as well. I also loved my large cascading bouquet, it came out incredible, was exactly what i hoped for, and looks amazing in my pictures. So if you’re looking for someone who can work with your budget, work with many different styles, and deliver amazing results, you need to go with flowerthyme. You won’t regret it!

s, Joy suggested that we use fairy lights to give the centerpieces some extra flair. She also did a mock up of the centerpieces so that I could see what they would look like ahead of time. The flowers looked beautiful. I am glad we chose to go with Flowerthyme.

t I was looking for for flowers. She went through Pinterest pages and pictures with me and was able to recreate my floral image exactly. My bouquet was incredible and the bridesmaid bouquets were a smaller version but just as nice. She was able to repurpose vases of flowers hung on the pews at our church and the large front floral arrangements at church in the cocktail and banquet space (as well and transport and place these items seamlessly). The floral arrangements on the table were gorgeous and the cake flowers, flower crown for my flower girl were timeless. I cannot say enough good things about Joy and Flowerthyme. I feel like we got amazing flowers while staying within our budget. Thank you so much! Everything was PERFECT
