Fluid Philosophy is based out of Minneapolis, MN, specializing in custom glass creations. Owners Andy and Kacy Rook are ready to work with couples nationwide, offering custom-blown glass for a unique twist on traditional sand unity ceremonies. This husband-and-wife team got their start with glass unity ceremonies at their own wedding in 2010 and has been making custom art for newlyweds ever since. Andy works as the artist at Fluid Philosophy, making all of the pieces and giving every job his all. Kacy, meanwhile, will be your point of contact and is happy to support you in any way she can. Together, they're ready to help you create a one-of-a-kind memento of your wedding day. Start your journey towards a glass unity ceremony by choosing up to four perfect colors for your day. Additional colors are available for an extra fee. Then, Andy and Kacy will ship your glass pieces to wherever you're based for use in your wedding's unity ceremony. After you've combined your chosen colors, the glass can be mailed back to Fluid Philosophy to be transformed into a product of your choice, whether you want an array of ornaments or a one-of-a-kind vase. This company is also happy to provide custom lighting, memorial glass made with cremation ash, and other keepsakes. Glass pieces for your ceremony usually ship in under a week, so it is never too late to add this to your wedding!

My husband and I chose to have a glass unity ceremony. The process is easy, the owners are very responsive, the glass was well-packaged for delivery, and the glass blown products are beautiful! We chose 4 colors and purchased a bowl and pendant for ourselves, and gift ornaments for our parents. Since our families live out of town, we had a unique twist to our unity ceremony so we could give the gifts to our parents during our wedding. We actually combined the glass in advance and went to the wedding with gifts in hand so we could include our families. We had a reader show the glass bowl and explain that one color represented the bride, one the groom, one color for the bride's family, and one for the groom's family. Then together my husband and I gave our parents their boxed gifts that were created with the same glass. It was a special way to personalize our ceremony and honor our families. Our guests commented on how beautiful the glass was! Thank you, Fluid Philosophy!

Very professional, great communication. Fast turnaround on mailing the glass frit and then the finished sculpture. We got a unity twist made and it’s beautiful and so well crafted! Definitely recommend.

The unity ceremony was absolutely perfect! We had 4 colors, one for each of us and each of our parents. We had a dozen roze bouquet vase made as well as a paper weight and received them today. They are just as expected and nice quality! We look forward to cherishing them forever. Also very fast service and good communication.

Response time was great. We sent our glass out and got it back in a timely manner. The vase is absolutely beautiful and a wonderful reminder of the most special day. I also loved that they gave us the opportunity to add more to our order if we had left over glass

This small company was incredible and so easy to communicate with. The glass crystals were absolutely beautiful at our wedding and allowed the most perfect unity between my husband’s family and mine. Andrew and Kacy Rock were quick and efficient when we sent our crystals back to make the ornaments we ordered. Highly highly recommend this for your special day!!

We wanted to do a unity glass ceremony for our wedding, and chose Fluid Philosophy to purchase the glass from! They were amazing every step of the way when it came to communicating with us, from ordering, to sending the glass pieces back, to receiving the vase back. They were super fast. The vase came back just as pictured, we love it & can’t wait to use it for future anniversaries!

Such a great company! It was such a unique way to do the unity ceremony and we couldn’t be happier! They were great to work with, easily to communicate with, and shipping was super fast! If you plan on doing a unity ceremony, more specifically a glass unity ceremony, they are the BEST!!

Wonderful customer service. I sent them pictures of my flowers and they suggested which colors to purchase. So easy to work with and the shipping was quick both directions and I was able to get my items back in half the suggested wait time. My pieces are absolutely beautiful.

This was such a fun thing to do during our ceremony with a blended family. All four kids picked their own color as well as my husband and I. In the final product each on of us can see our color. This was such an easy process. A great company to work with. Everything was fluid. I would highly recommend this vendor.❤️

Fluid philosophy was amazing!! We had a unity vase for our wedding made and they were very helpful and let me know when the glass was received. They made an amazing video of the vase making process which was so cool and a wonderful touch. I highly recommended this for a nice unity ceremony keepsake.

In 2010 Andy and Kacy's wedding was their first Glass Unity Ceremony and they have been creating beautiful, custom pieces for couples ever since! Andy is the artist that makes all of the pieces, he puts all of his experience in every custom piece he makes! Kacy is the business manager and is in charge of all customer service, if you are messaging Fluid Philosophy, Kacy is the one you are messaging! Kacy also does all photographing and shipping.
