Fluid Philosophy is based out of Minneapolis, MN, specializing in custom glass creations. Owners Andy and Kacy Rook are ready to work with couples nationwide, offering custom-blown glass for a unique twist on traditional sand unity ceremonies. This husband-and-wife team got their start with glass unity ceremonies at their own wedding in 2010 and has been making custom art for newlyweds ever since. Andy works as the artist at Fluid Philosophy, making all of the pieces and giving every job his all. Kacy, meanwhile, will be your point of contact and is happy to support you in any way she can. Together, they're ready to help you create a one-of-a-kind memento of your wedding day. Start your journey towards a glass unity ceremony by choosing up to four perfect colors for your day. Additional colors are available for an extra fee. Then, Andy and Kacy will ship your glass pieces to wherever you're based for use in your wedding's unity ceremony. After you've combined your chosen colors, the glass can be mailed back to Fluid Philosophy to be transformed into a product of your choice, whether you want an array of ornaments or a one-of-a-kind vase. This company is also happy to provide custom lighting, memorial glass made with cremation ash, and other keepsakes. Glass pieces for your ceremony usually ship in under a week, so it is never too late to add this to your wedding!

In 2010 Andy and Kacy's wedding was their first Glass Unity Ceremony and they have been creating beautiful, custom pieces for couples ever since! They have added four children to their family since then and between kids and our custom glass business they stay very busy! Kacy is the business manager and is in charge of all customer service, if you are messaging Fluid Philosophy, Kacy is the one you are messaging! Kacy also does all photographing and shipping.
Andy Rock
Glass Blower/Artist
Andy Rock is a Glass Artist that currently lives in Plymouth, MN with his wife and their 4 children. In 2001 he took a glass blowing course at Anoka Ramsey Community College but mostly he has taught himself and learned by working with other artists. He makes both decorative and functional pieces in a variety of sizes, colors and prices; anywhere from 5-foot-tall chandeliers to 3-inch paperweights and everything in between. In addition to glass blowing Andy is a ceramic artist, welder and woodworker, and makes many multimedia sculptures using his variety of skills. Andy is the artist that makes all of the pieces, he puts all of his experience in every custom piece he makes!

re beautiful! We chose 4 colors and purchased a bowl and pendant for ourselves, and gift ornaments for our parents. Since our families live out of town, we had a unique twist to our unity ceremony so we could give the gifts to our parents during our wedding. We actually combined the glass in advance and went to the wedding with gifts in hand so we could include our families. We had a reader show the glass bowl and explain that one color represented the bride, one the groom, one color for the bride's family, and one for the groom's family. Then together my husband and I gave our parents their boxed gifts that were created with the same glass. It was a special way to personalize our ceremony and honor our families.
