I got chills hearing her and her musicians play as guests arrived and during the wedding ceremony. It was an out of body experience. Working with her was fantastic and communication was a 10/10. d once we reached out to her to inquire, I can see why. Her music is lovely, she was a dream to work with and guided us through the entire process. We chose to play classical before the ceremony and contemporary for the cocktail hour. Her playlist is massive!! Unfortunately there was competing music coming from a bar next door but when Christen was playing, we never heard the other music. Christen's music was the perfect touch to the scenic backdrop of Vail. I wouldn't think twice about using her again.

She was extremely helpful through every step of the process: from an initial consultation to answer our multiple questions to providing song lists and recommendations for each key component of the ceremony to making herself available to arrive early for set-up to even preparing an outline of the musical run of show. And I haven't even mentioned her beautiful music yet! She's such a talented musician - playing both the flute then surprising us by jumping on the piano when she realized a particular song would sound better with that instrument. If that's not a gold standard of service, I don't know what is! If you're looking for a beautiful music backdrop for your big day and someone who thinks through every little detail to ensure the event goes off without a hitch, look no further than Christen!

Christen was so easy to work with- very fast responses, organized, professional and an overall lovely human. She even learned two special songs for us! One song was my parents song, which I walked down the aisle to (they were so moved with this selection), and the other was symbolic for my husband and his service in the military, and that song was our recessional (my husband was so surprised and moved). I didn't have any time to talk with Christen, or her violinist colleague, Brightin, on our wedding day itself (I had no idea how busy I would be that day!), but everything went perfectly as planned and their music was loved by all of the guests. We had several guests comment on how much they enjoyed the more modern music we selected and how the music really created and upbeat and positive energy for the ceremony. I strongly recommend Christen to any couple planning their wedding! She is a real professional, a talented musician and a kind person!

We used most of their repertoire list but Christen also was able to play a few extra pieces for us that weren’t, some from operas and some from movies that my husband and I have enjoyed watching together during our relationship.
