Flying Apron did a custom donut order for our wedding and we and our guests were thrilled with the results. We had several guests with obscure allergies and dietary restrictions, b...
ut Flying Apron stepped up to the challenge! Not only did they provide exhaustive ingredient lists so we could make allergen warnings, they had flavor combinations that allowed us to be creative and fun. This led to members of my family being able to enjoy donuts for the first time in YEARS! They were so happy, and that made us happiest of all. Thank you so much!
SO TASTY! As a bride with celiac disease AND a cake-lover, I thought it would be tough to find a great wedding cake that I could actually eat. Turns out Flying Apron was the perfec...
t fit! We went with a semi-naked tiered cake and had simple real florals added day of and it was so delicious! We also had cupcakes for guests and the floral-designed frosting on the cupcakes was beautiful and exactly what I hoped for. Colleen from Flying Apron was EXTREMELY responsive and helpful in deciding our design and even offered to help set up the rest of the dessert table with other desserts not from Flying Apron (we did an assortment of desserts from various bakeries) and add on the real florals when she arrived with the cake and cupcakes for delivery, even though it wasn't included what we purchased. A dream come true wedding cake for sure!!
I have been a loyal Flying Apron customer for years; although I am not gluten free, I am vegan, and they’re cakes and pastries are some of my favorites anywhere even though I am no...
t gluten intolerant. So when we were booking vendors, I knew even before our cake tasting that I would want them to book them for our wedding.
Setting up the cake tasting was very simple. Their bakers were very communicative through initial booking to pick up, when a few weeks prior I requested to pick up the cake a day earlier than initially scheduled.
We went with a simple, “naked” design and the cake was very reasonably priced for the size. Would absolutely work with them for another special event.
The cake tasted amazing and the frosting was perfect. I am so glad my husband stuck to his guns about getting a gluten free, vegan cake. I was a little scared to see the cake becau...
se I had ordered it over the phone, but I had nothing to worry about. And it was ready for pick up when they said it would be.
The Flying Apron made our vegan wedding cake. They were easy to work with, professional, did the exact design I asked for, and made a delicious cake! I highly recommend them for yo...

Need a GF and DF wedding cake that doesn't taste GF and DF? Flying Apron is your place!
We initially met with Elyssa who was the cake baker/decorator at Flying Apron in July and ...
my husband and I did a whole tasting to find what kind we wanted. Everything we tasted was fantastic, and we ended up going with a cardamom cake with a coconut frosting.
When she told us the price of the cake I was shocked! We had way over-budgeted and we were so surprised at how inexpensive and affordable a GF/DF cake could be! (I would even dare to say it was more inexpensive than a "normal" cake.)
About 2 weeks before the wedding I called to make the final payment and found out Elyssa had left, but didn't let the new baker/decorator, Mackenzie, know about our wedding. This might have freaked some people out, but I just found the humor in it and thanked God I called in enough time! Mackenzie was so accommodating and was actually trained by Elyssa, so I was confident it would turn out excellent.
Our cake showed up on our wedding day exactly how we expected and our guests LOVED it! I heard they couldn't stop talking about how yummy it tasted! We had so much left over - our 4" tier (which we wanted to save for our 1 year anniversary anyways) and the small 6" tier just under it was untouched too. What a nice treat to be able to come home from our honeymoon and enjoy the 6" cake with our family!
Thank you Flying Apron for making an elegant, tasty, and unforgettable wedding cake for us!
We picked up a few cupcakes for our Vegan and GF guests here. It was incredibly easy to order and for a dozen cupcakes at least they didn't need a large lead time. And our guests...
were so excited to have tasty cakes that they could eat! Highly recommended.
I needed a small cutting cake that was completely allergen friendly. What I got was a delicious cake that you really wouldn't know was gluten, dairy, egg, and soy free!
Very nice lady. Presentation looked good.;Wrong kind of cake from what we ordered. The cake was still somewhat frozen when we went to cut it. We had special wine glasses engraved...
and they broke one setting up the cake.
