The two options for ceremony site were both stunning (mountain backdrop or aspen grove), the ranch animals within earshot added a nice touch (a cow mooed at just the right moment during our vows), and Tammy the owner was so great at everything she did--the perfect balance of get-down-to-brass-tacks and take time to get to know us as a couple/family. The venue has a great tent and floor on site as well, which was a great help in streamlining our rentals!

We've heard countless comments from our friends and family saying it was the ‘most beautiful venue they had seen’ and they couldn’t believe how gorgeous it was! Now a few months after the wedding, we look back on our photos and are loving reliving the beauty of Flying Diamond Ranch. Beyond the property being stunning, Tammy and her team were exceptional. Throughout the planning process Tammy was SO GREAT to work with. Not only is she the absolute sweetest, but she was so accommodating, helpful and knowledgeable. Then, on the day of the wedding, her and her team exceeded my expectations! They were beyond prepared (and optimistic) as they helped us navigate a rainstorm (which ended up clearing up at the perfect time!), and were so nice and helpful as they shuttled us and the bridal party around the property. Throughout the evening, Tammy and her staff stayed on site to ensure everything was perfect and all of our guests were having a great time. The level of genuine customer care was beyond anything I have seen at any other venue, and just one of the many reasons I would highly, HIGHLY recommend Flying Diamond Ranch for the most perfect Colorado wedding!

The aspen grove is so beautiful and really comes alive at night. This is such a great beautiful venue and so glad we went with it! It made our wedding!

e of but the staff is on top of everything! Tammy makes sure your day starts off just right with a beautiful cabin to get ready in. Complete with a huge area to have breakfast, mimosas, coffee, lunch and plenty of room for your hair, make up, photographer and videographer vendors and of course your bridal party! While we’re getting ready, they’re helping direct vendors who might be arriving to set up cupcakes, DJ tables or the caterer! I didn’t have to worry about a thing. The staff came to check on us multiple times through out the day and coordinated getting rings to the appropriate people, perhaps some forgotten decorations or flowers to the wedding site. They were there to take me to my First look and worked with the bridal party to get them to our pictures site right after. After that concluded they made sure to hide me from any arriving guests and helped me enter the ceremony in super secret and dramatic fashion :)!! After the ceremony, they helped make sure the rest of the evening went smoothly from getting people seated, speeches, first dances and more. The night was a dream and ended with the tent all lit up and guests enjoying the front patio area! I was told at least 30+ times “this is the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever been to” and I think we have Flying Diamond Ranch to thank for that! Thank you!

by far the best wedding location I have ever seen! The owners were very helpful and had really put a lot of work into the venue. They provided the tent, chairs for the ceremony, and outdoor bathrooms that we would have had to bring in ourselves otherwise. They have really thought of it all taking away a lot of stress from the wedding planning. Unlike the other venues we looked at, the Flying Diamond ranch lets you bring in outside vendors so we were really able to make our wedding exactly the way we wanted it. They offered two different ceremony sites in the aspen trees with spectacular views and a beautiful tent for the reception making all of our wedding photos incredible! Choosing this venue was the easiest decision of the wedding planning process and one I would do all over again!

The venue is absolutely breathtaking and everything I could have hoped for. Tammy the owner was very helpful providing local vendor info and worked great with our wedding planner to make our special day run smoothly. I can not say enough positive things about this venue and still hear from friends how great our wedding was!

and I came across Flying Diamond Ranch’s website and we just fell in love with the venue (although, the pictures don’t do its beauty justice! The venue, background/views are breathtaking in person.) This venue has so much to offer and so many beautiful views. We loved being able to have our ceremony and reception at the same location, this was really important to us. The setting is absolutely gorgeous, it’s leaps and bounds past any other venue we visited. There's not one thing I would change or wish was different about Flying Diamond Ranch or the staff. Working with the staff at Flying Diamond Ranch was such a smooth and stress free part of our wedding planning. My husband and I planned our wedding in Steamboat Springs from out of town; wedding planning from a town 3+ hours away had its challenges. But the owners of the venue and their staff were absolutely the best to work with; they were professional, organized, incredibly helpful and so nice. They were very communicative about our wedding and our planning. We also really appreciated the list of vendors the owner gave to us, very helpful. They had a 6 person Razor/ATV (I'm sure I'm not saying that correctly) to give the bride and groom rides from place to place if needed, like from the guesthouse to ceremony, to different spots to take pictures, etc. This is also a great perk for any older guests or guests with health conditions. We rented out their guesthouse on the property and it was so nice to get ready out at the ranch. My husband got ready in the downstairs of the guesthouse; it worked out great. Everything about Flying Diamond Ranch made our wedding absolutely perfect! The ambiance this venue has to offer is really special, the aspen grove is just gorgeous! From the views of the mountains and beautiful trees, the gorgeous aspens, the tipi (which guests love to take photos by), the variety of beautiful spots to take photos, the beautiful tent that can accommodate large and small groups...it's just a breathtaking location all together! Our guests loved everything about this venue and they really enjoyed the sunset and stargazing, it all just felt magical! Flying Diamond Ranch had really nice heaters on the outside patio part of the tent and we all loved sitting in the Adirondack chairs chatting and looking at the stars, taking in the breathtaking scenery. It truly was a stress free day for us, and that had a lot to do with the amazing people at Flying Diamond Ranch and the vendors we worked with. Everything about this venue was just perfect! We absolutely, positively would recommend Flying Diamond Ranch to future brides. From the breathtaking views, the accommodations and the wonderful people working out at the venue we would highly recommend Flying Diamond Ranch. Our guests were raving (and still are!) about the gorgeous and unique setting of Flying Diamond Ranch. If we could do it all over again, we wouldn't have changed a thing about our wedding out at this wonderful venue!

There were so many places to take pictures, everyone loved the aspen grove and once the sun set we couldn’t ask for a better place to watch the stars move across the sky, it was our own peace of heaven.

We opted to have our ceremony in the aspen grove and dinner & dancing in a tent onsite, and it was truly the most magical day of our lives. Tammy is great at communicating leading up to the big day and is either there or has staff onsite at all times to ensure everything is going perfectly. Our guests are still raving about what a beautiful setting it was and we are so thrilled to have had our photos amongst the romantic aspens. It was all truly spectacular. Thank you so much for helping us celebrate and create the happiest and best day of our lives!!!

n but all the guests commented on how magical it was. The ceremony was held in a magnificent aspen grove, then after cocktails outdoors, the guests and wedding party moved into a beautiful, spacious white tent that the owner, Tammy, purchased this year. We had about 150 guests but the tent will accommodate over 300. Tammy and her crew worked tirelessly the whole day to make sure everything went perfectly. Hosting such an event at a ranch is no small feat logistically and they pulled it off without a hitch. Also, prior to the event, Tammy worked with the kids throughout the planning process to understand their vision of their special day. A couple of other noteworthy items: the guesthouse worked perfectly for the bridal party that day. It was well-equipped with everything a girl might need! Tammy also installed new bathroom facilities for the wedding site that were very luxurious. Flying Diamond Ranch is a spectacular venue as it is a working ranch with rolling hills and aspen groves and scenic mountains as a backdrop. We ended up with a perfect Colorado summer day and everywhere you gazed, it was a thing of beauty - including a beautiful sunset! As with most memorable events in life, the photos can't measure exactly how great the venue and the day was - but, in this case, they come close!
