Cushioned furniture is available to decorate the room for more intimate occasions. Additionally, the reception room is wheelchair accessible. French doors open out to the lush, carefully landscaped gardens that surround the building. The views from this space are spectacular, with sweeping mountain vistas, a gazebo, and a pond.

eekend so you have the day before and after your wedding to prep and clean up, making for a lot less stress. The ranch also has a kitchen and you can use any vendors of your choosing.

lcohol, and a setting that would make a statement. The Flying Dog Ranch in Carbondale was perfect for us. We had the venue for the entire weekend, so no rush to clear out for another event. We did have to set up and break down all the tables and chairs, but they were provided for us and it was no big deal at all. We had a couple days before the wedding to set up, and the day after to clean and we had plenty of help for both. Lydia, the owner, was very accommodating and helpful. Our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful the gardens were, and the vistas looking down into Glenwood Canyon, or up at Mt. Sopris, were absolutely stunning. We had our wedding ceremony in the garden and then held our reception in the "barn" (fully enclosed and updated) with space for our guests to wander outside, or stay in to dance. There was a huge kitchen for the caterer and the herb room where we set up the buffet was an attention-getter as well. We had a perfect day in a beautiful setting and I wouldn't have changed a thing!
