Flying V Ranch gave us a “down home feel” as soon as we met with Claire and Page back in the spring. It’s what made us decide to choose their venue! They have a house collection that you can transform the space into whatever vision you have. It might be an old ranch but it doesn’t just accommodate those who want a “rustic” wedding. Our wedding was romantic and wintry - everything we wanted for a December 30th day! Jessica ran our wedding day and I could not be more thankful for her! She made it smooth and effortless with my team of decorators and was the glue for everything. We used the pavilion for our ceremony and added drapes to the outside for a tent like feel that worked beautifully! The staff are involved and communicate well throughout the entire process. Thank you Flying V Ranch for best day!

My husband and I could not have asked for a better venue! We fell in love with the Flying V Ranch from the moment we stepped onto the property for a tour. It was just the cute, rustic, antique, and chic style we were looking for, and more importantly, the staff at the Flying V Ranch were so thoughtful and helpful. Paige, the owner, was very involved and helpful throughout the entire process of planning until the day-of. You could tell that their goal was to make planning seamless, easy, and fun because that is how our planning experience went! Claire Adams was an absolute ROCKSTAR and angel throughout the planning process and the day-of. She met with my husband, mom, and I over zoom (we are all living in different states currently) during times that worked for us. She helped us a TON with the floor plan, timeline, and decor. The venue also helped us choose the most PERFECT vendors for our wedding which helped made our wedding so magical. The Flying V recommended Righteous BBQ, Arbutus Entertainment, Coco Fleur, the Decatur PD for security, and Hey Ms Bartender. They were the most perfect vendors for our wedding. The day-of was so seamless and Claire was with us to make sure our vision came into fruition. She even made sure the cows and donkeys were near by like how we requested months ago! Terra was our main day-of coordinator and was an ANGEL. She guided us, the wedding party, guests, and the vendors to make our wedding day an absolute dream. Not only was Terra an amazing emotional support, she kept everyone on task and on the same Paige throughout the entire day. We all loved Terra’s presence and organized guidance throughout the entire wedding day. Starting from the rehearsal until we were running through the tunnel of sparklers into our limo! The layout of the Flying V is cute as a button AND functional. My bridesmaids, my mothers, and my sisters LOVED the bridal cottage to get ready and hang out in, and the groomsmen had a great time hanging out in the groomsmen lounge. The guests has so many great choices to hang out around between the beer garden, the covered patio, and the indoor reception area. The dance floor was the perfect size- big enough for line dancing, free fun dancing, and romantic slow dancing! The Flying V Ranch was an absolute dream come true for my husband and I, and we wouldn’t change a single thing about our special day thanks to the Flying V Ranch. We 1000% recommend the Flying V Ranch to anyone looking for a fun, stress-free, and beautiful venue for their special day.

FVR was a great venue to work with and had some amazing amenities! I loved working with the staff, they were very sweet and understanding to all the crazy questions. The venue has a beautiful appeal and feel to it. Our wedding was lovely!

The venue is was so amazing! Everyone was so friendly in the process and we had the most amazing time. I loved the included decor as it helped us budget and was still trendy! I think the outdoor space though is my favorite. It’s so beautiful and the activities were a plus!!

Flying V Ranch was a dream come true. I knew as soon as we visited that it was the place Brad and I would tie the knot. Everything was so special - from the history of Flying V to best hospitality, it made our day extremely special and unforgettable. I tell people ALL the time that I would relive our wedding day over and over again if I could, and that’s because of Flying V and the staff.

This place is gorgeous!! The staff is so accommodating and there is so much included in your packet. They had table clothes, center pieces and more all including which makes a huge difference in price! The staff communicated so well leading up the wedding and day of. The bride cottage was perfect for a large bridal party (8+2 moms and all photography, videography and hair and makeup) but still felt like we were all close and could spend the day together. The grooms sweet was decorated great for photos and had all the must haves (fridge, TV, game table, etc.)! They outside site is perfect with the new pavilion addition and makes the photos stunning. They made my dream come true and it was perfect! I couldn't recommend them enough!!

We had our wedding at Flying V ranch this past weekend and our experience was INCREDIBLE! The venue staff was so helpful and easy to work with throughout the planning process and the day off. Their complimentary House Collection is to die for & made decorating a breeze!! I loved not having to buy decor items and be stuck with them post-wedding or pay for rentals. Our guests loved the corn hole games and Biergarten. The bridal suite & grooms lounge had everything we needed and more. The venue is so gorgeous you really don’t even have to decorate much! And there are tons of great photo ops on site, from the bridal suite to the beautiful ceremony site, pavilion, Biergarten and the open fields to catch sunset shots. All our guests thought the venue was stunning! I recommend Flying V Ranch for any brides looking for a beautiful, accommodating venue!!

As the bride of an April wedding at this venue, I could not have asked for a better experience! Everything went smoothly when booking with Flying V Ranch from day one of just touring the area. We felt at home right away, and pictured our wedding day there so easily. The staff is friendly, the packages were greatly priced for all included, communication was always in a timely manner, and they always put what we wanted first. Bridals we’re also a breeze to book. Our rehearsal went so great with the help of our family/friends but overall because our coordinator paired with FVR was amazing! The area is beautiful, and booking vendors for the venue was exciting as so many vendors have enjoyed working with the FVR staff. We are forever thankful for FVR for making our day truly a fairytale and stress free. I would highly recommend making your wedding dreams come true with booking at this venue!

What a beautiful place for an outdoor ceremony! The reception hall was gorgeous and well air conditioned. I loved the lighting and ambiance. We loved working with all their staff. They were helpful and professional in every way. Having a collection of table decor to choose from was also huge plus.

These guys are amazing! So easy to work with, so flexible, and helped me in all the ways possible! We had a cold front come through that wasn’t projected until 48 hours before our wedding and the speed and efficiency they had to try to accommodate for the weather was phenomenal. I never felt stressed with their help and the venue itself was absolutely stunning. Their decor was stunning. 10/10

For anyone looking for a beautiful country venue with the most supportive staff, The Flying V Ranch is your place. From the very beginning stages of planning the staff was so helpful with a comprehensive checklist and tons of complimentary decor. They have a website that keeps all your documents in one place and makes it easy to keep track of payments. Not to mention that the staff always returned our calls so quickly and answered every question I had. On the day of the wedding, we were supposed to have bad weather so they watched it faithfully for me and even worked with us so we could still use their beautiful outdoor site and had multiple backup plans for us. Our coordinator handled everything so we could sit back and just enjoy every minute of the day. Our wedding day was so special and I give huge credit to The Flying V Ranch for that.

Flying V and the staff fulfilled and exceeded every expectation I had for my wedding day. Our day of coordinator was fabulous. The space was set up exactly how I wanted. The provided decor fit the vision I had for the day to a T. I couldn't have asked for more!!

This venue turned out to be everything we hoped for. We booked and starting planning our wedding during the start of the pandemic. Flying V Ranch was one of the first venues we went to and fell in love with it immediately. It’s out in the country and was perfect. The bridal cottage was a nice size for my bridesmaids, mother of bride and groom, hair and makeup team and me to get dressed and ready. The guys liked the “groom’s room” and had fun hanging out. After the ceremony and before the reception while we were taking photos, guests were having cocktails and appetizers and hanging out on the multiple patios and seating areas while playing corn hole and watching the sun set. The entire day was wonderful. Page and Sosha were helpful and answered questions leading up to and after the wedding day. Such a great venue. Thank you, Flying V Ranch for a nice wedding day.

The stars are for the venue itself. Beautiful and the views are amazing, the only issue my husband & I had was the constant fees that get added on after booking. or the fact when we scheduled are wedding date we got told we would have day before access but when time came around we got denied because it was black Friday... We moved our wedding under the carport and future brides just move it inside, my dress was completely soaked from rain water and it was under the carport area but failed to mention that there are no drainage pipes and it will get soaked wet.

I cannot say enough great things about this venue! I fell in love with it from the very moment I stepped foot onto the property. It was beautiful and versatile. Our package came with the house collection decor which made decorating a piece of cake and the staff was amazing from the initial tour to the day of the wedding. We received soooo many compliments on our venue choice from our guests. I cannot recommend Flying V Ranch enough!

Flying V Ranch was a beautiful venue for our daughter's wedding. The staff was great to work with and Mandi was an awesome day of event manager. She was very accommodating and helpful during the entire event. Flying V saved us a lot of time and money on decorating because it's already beautifully decorated and our package included the use of their house collection. 100% recommend Flying V Ranch!

Great venue and staff. Page was wonderful and the recommendations from food, flowers, and other businesses was wonderful. It made the day easy and enjoyable.

If I had to do this again I would choose the Flying V Ranch all over again. They communicated through out the planning and process and helped me think of things that I would not have even known about. Their all inclusive house decorations made it perfect for the look I was going for with out the hassle of trying to find all them by myself. Every question I had was answered quickly through email and the day of I felt very relaxed about our timeline that we made and setting up the venue. They also took over when I felt overwhelmed or unsure and even handled an unnecessary situation brought on by one of the people in our wedding party. They reassured us that everything was fine and to just keep enjoying our day. The service by the owner and the coordinator's was unparalleled. I can't thank them enough for all the help and being able to provide such an amazing, beautiful venue. Oh and not only was the venue amazing but the options to keep all different type of guests was also a major plus. The cocktail garden outside was a crowd favorite as was the fire pit for those that don't like being forced to sit inside with loud music. I could go on and on about this place and the service provided. I just feel like choosing the venue can make or break your wedding day and I am beyond pleased with my choice!

We absolutely loved the Flying V Ranch! We had attended a wedding here years ago where it was pouring down rain in November and the wedding was still my absolute favorite until my own! It also rained during our venue visit. Knowing their rainy day plan was still gorgeous, we picked the venue having never seen it with nice weather and sure enough, we had the most beautiful weather under a full moon on our wedding day. This venue has a lovely vintage charm and a rustic aesthetic that is also elegant. We got the most amazing photos!!! It's a great blank canvas and the staff are wonderful to work with. We hung stars from the ceiling and went with a celestial theme, which the venue fully supported. The online portal system makes it easy to select items to rent directly from the venue and complete payments. The FVR staff were so accommodating of our desired pandemic precautions (masks, outdoor spaces, doors open, bridal luncheon tables) and worked out every little detail with us to help our guests feel safe. The staff worked diligently to make sure everything was ready on our big day and that our day-of timeline was thorough and complete, but also prioritized that the bride and groom be happy and take time for themselves. They are excellent value for money because you can save on renting from a rental company if you want and avoid buying decor items you only use once. They make it so easy we saved on not needing a wedding planner. The bridal suite is adorable. We set out tables outside of the bridal cottage so our wedding party could enjoy open air gathering, instead of being in close quarters (due to the pandemic). If we had picked any other venue, we likely would have had to postpone our wedding for the pandemic. Thankfully they were able to accommodate our safety measures and they had so many outdoor spaces to work with, our guests largely chose to spend the evening playing lawn games, chatting on couches under the pavilion, enjoying the fire pit, or sitting at the tables by the fountain in the cocktail garden. Highly recommend.

This is a wonderful venue for any bride to be! It is lovely, filled with charm and character. The owners and staff were very attentive and helpful along each step of the way. Everything turned out just the way we wanted it. It made for a perfectly special day. Highly recommended by ourselves and our family and friends in attendance!

Site manager could not have been nicer, friendlier, more helpful, calming or accommodating to us! She was just the BEST the night of the rehearsal dinner and did an amazing job the day of the wedding, as well. Superior personal customer service! Staff came through with flying colors on a day full of unexpected and immovable obstacles! I don't know what we would have done without the Flying V's flexibility and creativity. Beautiful venue enjoyed by all our guests!

The Flying V Ranch is a perfect venue! All the staff is amazing and will help you with anything you need! This was the only venue we looked at because we new this was the one!! If you’re looking for an inside /outside wedding with lots of space to spread out this is the one! Page was excellent with planning our wedding! Due to COVID we had to push our date back but the process was so easy! Terra was our wedding day coordinator and was absolutely amazing! I cannot thank the whole Flying V staff enough for how perfect they made our day!

The Flying V is the perfect place for your wedding! Page and her mom and their team were the perfect coordinators! Page worked so hard to make sure our day was perfect and exactly what I had always dreamed of! I highly recommend doing the all inclusive package. It takes away so much of the stress of planning. They took all of my ideas and executed them beautifully! It was the perfect place to get married!

I don’t have enough good things to say about Flying V Ranch and the wonderful staff. It was the first venue we visited and we immediately knew we had found our place! The ranch is not only beautiful, but Sherry and Page (the owners) are such a joy to work with. From our first visit to our wedding day, they were nothing short of amazing and did everything necessary to ensure we had the best day. Terra was our day of coordinator and made the entire day run smoothly. They are a family company and pour their heart into the venue and their clients, and it shows! All our guests are still raving about the beautiful venue. We are forever grateful to Flying V for the perfect wedding day, and if we had to do it again we’d pick Flying V a thousand times over!

The venue was excellent, and the staff as a whole were very easy to work with and accommodating. Paige put us at ease, and while there were a few minor miscommunications during the reception (things that could easily be fixed with a double check of itenerary during the rehearsal), they provided great service and value overall. I only wish it were closer to Fort Worth!

I was looking for the perfect outdoor Texas venue - without being too rustic and also wanted the option to add my own style to it! The Flying V Ranch was perfect for us! They were most accommodating during planning, the ceremony, and reception. We had some weather issues and they helped with last minute decisions and arranging! The ceremony site is seriously like no other- it was the perfect day thanks to the Flying V. Many of our guests commented to me how beautiful and simplistic the wedding was. We love the staff and location!

The Flying V Ranch was the most perfect place for our Texas wedding! Sherry and Page were so helpful, informative and welcoming for our big day. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, and it was a dream to tie the knot under those big oak trees. Our guests had such a fun time, and the reception area was perfect for hosting them (we had about 130-140 people). I couldn’t be happier with our choice. I cried as we left the cute little town of Decatur, because of all the wonderful memories it created at one lovely ranch in June. I highly recommend!!

I would highly recommend getting married at Flying V. Page was my main point of contact, and she was wonderful to work with from the moment my husband and I walked in to tour the venue. She is professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and you can tell she cares deeply about her business. I felt she went above and beyond by helping me find our photographer (whom we also loved), and by helping me recover my "something old" (a tiny broach that belonged to my great-grandmother) that I lost on the wedding day. Also, on the wedding day, she was out at the venue herself, tidying and making sure everything was good to go. To me, that speaks volumes about her character, both as a person and as a business owner. I think working with people who really care makes all the difference. The only reason I am not giving five stars is because at the rehearsal (and a little bit on the day of the wedding) I felt like I had to repeat lots of things that were discussed at the 30 day meeting. Flying V is a gorgeous place to get married, and the staff is excellent. You will not be sorry if you choose it.

We absolutely loved the Flying V Ranch! We were planning our wedding from abroad, and Page was so helpful throughout the process. You can tell that it is still a family-owned business by the attention to detail in and around the venue, as well as their willingness to accommodate our needs in order for us to have the perfect day. Our guests couldn’t stop complementing the venue, and it worked perfectly for the vintage boho style wedding we envisioned. The bridal cottage was perfect for my bridesmaids and I to get ready, and even our photographer fell in love with the setting. We’d totally recommend Page and the Flying V team!

Absolutely beautiful venue! From the outdoor "chapel" with paved walkway, covered tree altar, and classic white pews; the covered pavilion as a back up if it rains, we used it as a cocktail hour setting with beautiful vintage furniture (provided by Flying V); the outdoor picnic area with industrial chair and a s'mores pit, perfect for after the sun sets; and the indoor barn with beautiful string lights that added the perfect touch to our photographs, a picturesque fireplace and vintage chairs. They allowed outside catering, bartender and were there every step of the way to help us make our event perfect. The Flying V Ranch was EXACTLY what we were looking for when booking our vow renewal. We couldn't have picked a better venue!

Our son and daughter-in-law had the perfect start to their marriage by having Page plan and carry out an amazing wedding and reception. There are so many rustic wedding venues popping up but the Flying V is authentic while being elegant and beautiful. We couldn't recommend them any more!!

It is gorgeous and unique, unlike many other "cookie cutter" wedding venues in the DFW region. It is one of the only authentic ranches that I have seen. They have designed everything to be a romantic yet elegant feel. Page and her mom are the owners and do an INCREDIBLE job helping you plan your special day. They made it stress free, flawless, and tailored perfectly for my husband and me. I couldn't recommend them more. They deserve 10 stars not just 5!!!

We celebrated our daughter’s wedding on Saturday, June 8th, and everything was perfection. From our first planning meeting with Page and Sherry, our every desire was met with great professionalism and care. Our wedding coordinator and her staff ran the day beautifully, attending to every detail graciously as if it was their own event. Beautiful venue! They went out of their way to make our ceremony and reception beautiful! The owners are super sweet and helpful through the entire planning process! Only reason for less stars is that they did try to charge us more at the end of the night for no reason and they should've sent out a list of what items were available for rent at the BEGINNING of the planning process rather than the week of the wedding. We bought so many things, not knowing they were available to rent there for cheaper.

WE LOVED THE FLYING V RANCH! Our wedding here a little less than a month ago was nothing short of perfect. Paige and her mother are so sweet, caring, and welcoming! I was sold on this place just from the white church pews at the outdoor ceremony area, but that is just one of many details that make the Flying V perfectly simple and elegant - exactly what I was looking for. The bridal cottage was a perfect place for my girls & I to spend the day getting ready. The reception area is beautiful all on its own and requires very little additional decorations.
