Five+ stars, excellent across the board. Heather designed our wedding stationary (we used one of her oak drawings, which is stunning and perfect for a Georgia wedding), and also made custom signs, wedding programs, a seating chart and gold-backed menus, and worked with another vendor to make muslin welcome bags stamped with the tree print for us. I could not have been happier with the outcome. The oak drawing is stunning and was a perfect motif to tie together all of the elements of our wedding in a beautiful, coherent way. Heather was a delight to work with and incredibly responsive and helpful, which is so important in a wedding vendor. She truly went above and beyond, even meeting us in Savannah to drop off some of the items on the one day we were there. In addition, for each idea I had, she went above and beyond to make it happen, the muslin welcome bags being just one example. She also worked with us to add gold foil to our invitation suite, which looked fantastic. We were thrilled with the finished product and got tons of compliments across the board. If I could give more than five stars I would.

We are getting married in Savannah April, 2014. I wanted my invitations to look and feel like the beautiful city we chose to celebrate our special day. I found FLYoung Studios online. Heather Young is an artist in Savannah. She does local drawing and paintings. Our invitations are just what we envisioned! Heather was very patient as I made several changes. She was always prompt and gave great advice. We didn’t have a chance to meet her due to a family emergency, but Heather is very easy to work with through email. Once we decided on colors and the layout, she sent a draft of the invitations so we were able to see the finished product before we moved forward with the printing. I even made changes to the draft and Heather graciously reprinted for me. Besides how wonderful Heather is as a person, she is a terrific artist! After all, the invitations are the first impression your guests will have of your big day. We wanted our friends and family to be just as excited as we are to celebrate our wedding together in Savannah. We couldn't be happier!

Heather Young is, in a word, amazing. I live in PA, and my wedding was located in my hometown. From the beginning of our planning process, I had a clear sense of what I wanted our "day of" print pieces to look like: something to set the mood for the day, intimate and full of family, and to convey the spirit of our theme, mid-Century American celebrations. Most of all, I wanted print pieces that people would take home with them and enjoy looking at for years to come, ideally that would include original artwork. I searched locally for an artist who could lend expertise and make this general idea a reality, but didn't have any luck. I was ready to give up, and quite by accident found Heather's work online. I reached out to her, and her understanding of what we wanted to accomplish and how we might achieve it was immediate. After I communicated the general idea, she was full of fantastic recommendations and guidance. The finished products were breathtaking, with an original illustration washed with watercolor of our Chapel for the ceremony program and a design that looked like the opening title frames of classic movies for our reception print pieces. Heather's artwork truly captured the dreams that we had for this special day on paper and set the mood for our ceremony and reception. So many of our guests commented on how special the pieces were. In addition, Heather was a true pleasure to work with... super responsive, full of creative ideas and expert guidance, and just simply a lovely person! We are grateful that we became aware of her talents in time for our wedding, and for the beauty she added to our day through her artwork!
