Lindsey and Mike, we can’t thank you enough for capturing our special day. Being someone who dislikes having pictures taken, they did such a great job helping me feel at ease. They...
are incredibly organized and communication was super fast, which, as a bride who loves schedules and timelines, I truly appreciated. Special thanks to Lindsey for meticulously fluffing and adjusting my train to perfection for every single pose :) I can’t wait to utilize Lindsey and Mike for future photographable occasions!
Words can’t even express how AMAZING Focus Bay Photography is. Booking them for my wedding was the easiest decision I made during my entire planning process, and I would recommend ...
them to anyone. Not only is their portfolio amazing, Lindsey and Mike are amazing people who will make sure your day goes smoothly and that every moment is captured beautifully.
Great communication and organizational skills were must-have attributes of my vendors. From the initial point of contact to the day my wedding gallery was delivered, my emails and text messages were always answered within an appropriate amount of time (I can be a little impatient, so this is saying a LOT). Lindsey and Mike ALWAYS delivered and followed-up on their promises, and when you are planning a wedding and trying to keep track of 4+ vendors, invitations, decorations, etc etc etc, it is so refreshing to have a vendor who is 100% on top of their game! They are able to recommend locations for your engagement shoot and will fill out all the necessary forms to obtain permission to take photos there. A few months before your wedding day, they will send you forms to fill out, which will help them organize the photography schedule on the day-of, and the forms were super easy to follow and to-the-point. Their organization made it very easy for me to remain organized as well!
I can’t review a photographer without discussing the pictures themselves. After stalking their instagram and their portfolio, it was apparent that the quality of their pictures are PHENOMENAL. We loved EVERY SINGLE picture in our gallery, and when there’s over 500 pictures, you would think that there would be at least 1 that you don’t care for, but NOPE, every single picture was amazing. Also, let’s be honest, most of us are NOT models. My husband and I needed all the direction and instruction we could get when it came to posing, smiling, hand placement, eyeball placement, you get the point, but thankfully Mike and Lindsey are absolute pros at giving direction, and I promise you and your spouse will look like models if you choose Focus Bay Photography as your wedding photographer.
I was pleasantly surprised by how caring and thoughtful Lindsey and Mike were. Honestly, if it weren’t for them I don’t think my day would have gone as smoothly as it did. Examples of how they exemplified this include: holding my bouquet or drink whenever I needed to free my hands (climbing in and out of a golf cart in a wedding gown is quite difficult), offering to run small errands on the day of, making sure my hair wasn’t stuck in my armpit (gross, I know, but it’s the reality of having long hair - brides beware), taking on the role of my day-of-coordinator when she was busy doing something else, I could go on and on and on. Bottom line is, Mike and Lindsey were a huge part of my wedding day in ways I would have never expected, and I am SO thankful that Focus Bay Photography was there on my big day to capture all of our special moments!

early stages in planning, Lindsey and Mike were very involved. They also worked very professionally with several of our other vendors in order to coordinate our wedding day timeline. On the day of our wedding, Lindsey and Mike arrived on time and were quickly ready to go by moving furniture and decor around in order to capture the perfect lighting and angles. They did a wonderful job before and after our ceremony to get all of our desired shots. Once ready, our wedding photos were easily accessible and downloadable from the internet. I also have to say, their pricing was phenomenal and hard to beat in our area! We are so thankful to have had such a wonderful wedding experience with them, and now have the most beautiful photos to cherish forever!

They were professional, on time, and experienced. So lucky to have found them. Thanks again!!

asy. They were able to make sure that I got everything I was looking for, and communicated with my mom so well when she had additional questions. Most importantly for me, I felt so comfortable taking pictures on my wedding day because they were so easy to work with. We got married on a Sunday afternoon, and despite the harsh midday sun, the pictures turned out absolutely perfectly! Thanks Lindsey and Mike!!

what awkward individual photos (now stare at your dress, now smile while doing so, etc). Lindsey even offered me her earring back when we found that one of mine was missing! Our wedding day was rainy, so our outdoor photo locations were out of the question, and Lindsey & Mike were able to find wonderful back up spots for us. Our sneak peek photos were absolutely beautiful and we can't wait to get the rest of the photos back. Definitely hire Focus Bay!

o be really picky about our photographer but as soon as I saw their work and spoke with Lindsey on the phone I knew I wanted to work with them. They were so easy going, professional, and kind. Exactly the type of people you want to be with you on your big day. Not to mention even our guests/wedding party told me after the wedding how much they liked our photographers because they were so nice. They were also super helpful when it came to building our timeline and working out what the day would look like and flexible when we needed to make some changes. Our photos came out so amazing, we are in love with them I haven’t stopped looking at them since we got them. THANK YOU a million times over Lindsey and Mike!!!

o session and finally, the wedding. With every gallery, we have fallen in love with the photos and they've constantly exceeded our expectations. Lindsey and Mike are completely professional, while being fun and relatable. They even made sure we received a sneak peak the day after the wedding before we left for our honeymoon! Of course, I couldn't stop staring at them on the plane ride. We have already received so many compliments from our friends and family members as far as the quality of the photos. I can't put into words how amazing it was to work with Focus Bay and we highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for incredible proposal/engagement/wedding photos. Thank you Lindsey and Mike for capturing our perfect day!

e will cherish for a lifetime. Mike and Lindsey were so responsive from start to finish and truly made sure they were providing us with photos that were nothing less than perfect. They took the time to have several phone calls with us leading up to the big day to ensure they were going to capture everything on our wish list and more. After the wedding they were right there with a sneak peak of our photos and then sent us the final pictures just a few weeks later. The pictures were absolutely gorgeous - soft elegant and classy - everything you could absolutely want in your wedding photos. This husband and wife couple are an absolute dream team and make you feel super comfortable even if you are not one who likes to have you picture taken. I cannot say better things about Focus Bay Photography - they truly are amazing and we were so lucky we got to have them capture our special day we have prints and they put together a beautiful album with several of our favorite photos! We are lucky we get to relive our dream wedding through their amazing art of photography. Thank you Focus Bay Photography - you are amazing!

r professionalism was perfect from the communication, down to them making sure we were satisfied before they left. If you are looking for a photographer, I would stop looking here because you can't get any better than Focus Bay.

to capture. Lindsey and Mike answered all of my emails in a timely fashion and we could not be happier with our pictures. They did a great job not only with our wedding pictures but with our engagement shots as well!
Lindsay & Mike were THE BEST situation as far as photographer/videographer team we could come by in the Southern Maryland area. Originally from Philadelphia, we had to do our rese...
arch for an affordable, yet QUALITY photographer foremost, AND doubling with film as a added BONUS. The bride having a background in event planning knew that Focus Bay had what it takes to take an event and capture the essence of the couple and true meaning behind the vows and entire vision. So, being a couple from Philly, but recently settled in Maryland, Focusbay knew by interviewing us that we wanted to share our newly beloved hobbies of living by the water (fishing, crabbing, boating, bay beach sunsets) but WITH out closest friends and family on our wedding day. They absolutely took the entire theme and ran with it all throughout our photos/video. Their video team with Blue Duck Weddings totally ROCKED out vision throughout the video. AND THEN, to add to our appreciation of this Focus Bay group, the photos you could NEVER tell, but the weather wasn't the greatest. SOOOO they came BACK to our Kent Island venue and did a second photoshoot with us AGAIN after our honeymoon. Just so that we could get some photos with sunshine and on the beach of our wedding venue the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. They NEVER made me feel like I was ridiculous for desiring more photos, even though, we all know my GROOM was doing this for THE BRIDE! Happy wife, happy life! Right!? Hah, either way, we really appreciated Focus Bay's enthusiasm for our wedded wishes from START to FINISH. They are BY FAR the best couple photography the Maryland wedding market could ask for. Highly recommend. Email if you would like to see more of our Nautical, shabby chic wedding album.
Lindsey and Mike are AMAZING and we can’t recommend them highly enough! They were an absolute dream to work with! You can tell that they have a passion for their photography and ...
are true artists. They were always responsive to every email, and had great suggestions regarding the timeline and logistics on our wedding day. Their guidance and humor helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and as someone who tends to be critical of herself in photos I can honestly say that we loved every image that we received! They came out better than we could have ever imagined! We are truly grateful that we found Lindsey and Mike to capture our day in such a beautiful way. We will cherish our wedding photos forever!

s and concerns prior to the wedding. We could not have been happier with our photos. Lindsey and Mike kept me calm before the ceremony, even with the unexpected rain, and were still able to capture all of the outdoor photos we had imagined. We are so happy that Focus Bay Photography was able to photograph our wedding weekend. Lindsey and Mike did an unbelievable job and we are looking forward to working with them in the future. The only problem is trying to decide which photos to frame!
Lindsey and Mike were an absolute dream. From the second we met them we knew they were the perfect team to handle our (my) crazy vision.
We are industry people, so our hours are ...
not only unorthodox but ridiculously unpredictable. They worked around our ever changing schedule and always made sure we were on the same page.
They were professional at all times, yet truly felt like guests at our wedding. From the detail shots to the posed bridal party, I could not be happier. They really were more than I could have ever expected or dreamed of. I cannot wait to recieve our prints, I know they're going to be even better than the online album is. If you're considering Focus Bay, do it. I promise, you will love them as much as we did.
Also, the aerial drone shots of our venue are breathtaking. If you didn't know you needed these, you 100% do.
Lindsey and Mike were THE BEST. Seriously, I had a wedding in downtown Baltimore (at The Grand) but I had to plan my entire wedding while we lived in Seattle. One of the best thing...
s about Focus Bay is that they are always quick to respond to any of my emails/calls. While planning a wedding you always want to feel like you're a priority with your vendors and they truly made me feel like I was. We hired Mike and Lindsey from 2:30pm- 10:30pm, while Lindsey was with me and my girls in the beginning while Mike went with my husband and his groomsmen. All of the pictures were quick and Focus Bay was open to getting shots I requested. One of the biggest things my husband was worried about was that the photographers/videographers would be too intrusive during our ceremony, but nobody noticed them at all! They did a PERFECT job of being totally discreet while also capturing amazing shots (same for the reception). After the ceremony they got family pictures (Focus Bay requires a shot list of family members so this went really quickly). They delivered my photos exactly 8 weeks after the wedding (they tell you 6-8 weeks) and gave us 600 photos. Everyone loves, loves the photos and videos. I'm going to recommend Focus Bay to all of my friends. Easily the best vendor we hired for high quality work and very reasonable price.

FABULOUS!! From the experience of working with Lindsey and Mike, to the photo and video quality, everything was fabulous! Lindsey and Mike made us feel comfortable right away when ...
we first met them before our engagement session. Their banter and love for one another really made us want to work with them because they honestly felt like friends we were hanging out with and not just professional photographers. This helped us both feel very comfortable during our engagement session and wedding because we were able to trust them 100% to capture everything. They came to Annapolis for our engagement session and did multiple locations with us which was great because I had my heard set on a few different places. During our wedding they had multiple photographers in addition to themselves which they split up into two teams to make sure they captured all the great shots! Their photos were stunning and the videos made me cry with how they were able to capture the whole experience! Having the same team to do the photography and videography was one of the decisions for our wedding I am beyond thrilled we made. They were so easy to work with! We even had a passing storm during our July wedding and they were able to adapt to the situation and still get us tons of amazing photos and you couldn't even tell that it rained at all! We also didn't want a lot of the normal just wedding party and family pictures and Focus Bay was more than willing to give us everything we hoped for! We couldn't have asked for a better team and we would use Focus Bay again in a heartbeat!
I would recommend Focus Bay Photography to anyone! Mike and Lindsey traveled to Philadelphia for our engagement session and also to our wedding. They are both extremely fun and p...
ersonable but also patient and professional. They made us feel comfortable during all of our photo shoots and captured exactly what we were looking for in our reception. No complaints here.

their videography team! Lindsey and Mike made us feel really comfortable during the planning stages and were always quick to get back to us. The videography team was punctual, super polite, and worked really well with our photographer. Everyone was impressed by their professionalism and even their equipment!
Our "short film" was everything we had dreamed of - perfect song, beautiful artistic shots, and movie-trailer-quality editing. I think I've watched it about 50,000 times already. The longer film was missing some pieces that we missed in person and were hoping to see, but we realized that the team was filming US at those times! So, not really a big deal, as it still had all the important stuff and then some!
Overall, Focus Bay really captured our day perfectly and delivered amazing quality videos that we will cherish forever. Our only regret is not booking them earlier! ; )

d I feel at home. We did our engagement shoot with them and then had them with us for the wedding day. We love the photos we got and even had a sneak peak the day after the wedding, which was unexpected and amazing. We loved that we got the full suite of photos and didn't have to pick a certain number form the whole library.
This couple worked with all of our wishes and gave us exactly what we wanted. Mike came to my parent's house to take getting ready photos and then to the venue for eveything else!...
I was so happy with the finished product and all of the memories we will have in beautiful pictures for the rest of our lives! Thank you, Mike and Lindsey!

them. The are very professional, courteous and worked with our schedules. During our engagement shoot they made us feel comfortable and relaxed, making it a memorable experience. We also got a chance to see how well they work together. When shooting our big day Mike and Jason made our wedding party comfortable and captured all aspects of our wedding. They even stayed late so we could take a photo with sparklers. We had the best time with them and we know you would too.

They took the time to get to know us as a couple, and perfectly captured Ryan and I's relationship & love for one another in both our engagement, as well as wedding photos and video. nts of our wedding and always made us feel they were enjoying being part of our special day. Mike was a real trooper, he stayed with us the entire reception and we could not thank him enough for doing that! The delivery was timely, we could not be happier with the end result of our pictures. If you are looking for photographers who you can trust I would definitely recommend Focus Bay. It'll be one less thing you would need to worry about in such a wonderful but hectic day! :)

Focus Bay Photography (FBP) did an excellent job covering our wedding. Everything from working with my (bride) particulars in photography wants to flexibility in logistics (engagem...
ent shoot and the wedding day) to working with our other wedding vendors at the church and reception location. The FBP owners provide a perfect balance to their customers because as a managing duo, they demonstrate attention to detail, organization, professionalism, and most important in photography, reputable artistic creativity. One of the highlights from our wedding day in particular was the drone! Everyone – and we mean everyone – was talking about how cool that was and how most of our guests had never seen a drone, let alone one taking pictures! People still talk to us about the drone a year post-wedding! The drone was a fun and cool added bonus that FBP offered us. In addition to excellent pictures, we were very satisfied with our wedding video. I watch it about once a month and remember how great the day was for our families, close friends and especially for us. Photography and videography last after that special day is over, so it's crucial to have an excellent group of individuals capturing those moments. And Focus Bay Photography did just that for us.
Thank you again!

ra! They go above and beyond to make sure the photos on your wedding day go smoothly and are everything you've hoped for and more. It rained on my wedding day and they were still able to get wonderful pictures. I was so impressed with the photos they took of all the small details of our wedding. Once the wedding is over sometimes it's hard to remember all the small details but they did a wonderful job of capturing everything!
