hes were popping before I even wore the dress, the cups were uneven and lopsided, and beading was busted. I took it somewhere else and had to pay $500 to get her mistakes fixed. Luckily for me, my gown was saved. Mercal denied any wrongdoing, despite photo evidence and statements from other tailors that she did a horrific job. She refused to come to any agreement and shut me down completely. She’s ignored my many messages since. She is a SCAMMER, she is rude, and does not care about anyone but herself and your money. DO NOT TRUST HER WITH YOUR GOWN. You’ll have your dress ruined and lose a lot of money just like me.

I bought my dress online and it was quite large on me. Mercal altered it into a perfect fitting dress and made changes to the style to create the look that I wanted. She also made a fingertip veil out of a peplum skirt that came with the dress.
We met up four times to complete the alterations and she was so quick and accommodating with my schedule. She listens to what you want and is so incredibly talented. I can't more highly recommend using Focus on the Bride for alterations. Thank you, Mercal!

flawless, and she knows her stuff. My dress fit like a glove, but not a "i can't breathe or move" kind a glove more of a flexible, molded perfectly to my body type of glove. Her work is perfection and Mercal is an incredible woman. She is super, super sweet and truly cares about how you feel.
