I- the bride- am not a huge photo taker and don’t really enjoy having my photo taken. I had been dreading the idea of an entire day of pictures. But Mat was quick and efficient and made the entire experience painless and even enjoyable. He staged really special photos and it wound up feeling more like he wasn’t even there and my husband and I were just spending time together away from the party and people for a minute together. In a crazy, hectic, whirlwind of a day, it was actually really nice to have those moments.
Post wedding, he got us a bunch of sneak peek photos SO quickly and they were GORGEOUS. And the final photos were to us in less than a month!
As we were looking through, not only were we so beyond happy with how everything came out, but we kept laughing because there were so many photos Mat took where my husband and I looked at each other and said we didn’t even know he’d been standing there and getting those great live action shots! The posed photos are beautiful and so special, but us truly enjoying the time with our loved ones are just as amazing and so cherished and to have those and not know they were coming was so fun.
Couldn’t recommend Mat more. He’s a great guy and a great photographer and you will be SO happy on your day that you chose him to work with and even happier when you get all of the amazing photos he took back.

For a groom who would rather be behind the camera than in front of it, I can honestly say that hubby-to-be was so at ease with our photo shoots and had so much fun doing it! Mat and Nicole made sure we got all our family shots out of the way early so that we could all enjoy the celebration, but also found time for us to have a blast doing some fun unplanned shots like us chasing rainbows, my dad making a mess in the kitchen and me runnning around a field in my socks!
