We booked Ashley for our wedding after interviewing a couple other DJs and and loved her personality and professionalism. She was very responsive and helpful with any questions. Her breadth of experience made her an absolute breeze to work with, from start to finish. She asks the right questions to ensure she has what she needs from you to be successful and she offers an online portal for you to upload the music you'd like. We found the portal quite helpful, since the forms you need to fill out pose a lot of questions you might not have thought about, like how you want your wedding party to be introduced during their grand entry. A few weeks before our wedding day, Ashley had a call with us to review everything we filled out in the form and to make sure she had everything she needed from us. Once wedding day came along, her and her assistant knew exactly what to do and never had questions for us. She helped keep the day moving with announcements and we trusted her completely. Big thanks to Ashley for her help and expertise! It was a pleasure working with her.

Ashley was fantastic to work with - she acted as both DJ and MC for our wedding and made sure everything on our schedule ran smoothly. She was always responsive, informative, and helpful whenever we asked questions. Members of our wedding party even mentioned how prepared she was and seemed to know exactly what to do. Ashley and her team did an amazing job making sure our day was perfect! She kept the night flowing along perfectly and made it seem effortless. She is definitely skilled in her work. I am impressed, not only by her skill, but her professionalism. From our initial Zoom consultation, to mid-way communication to coordinate our monogram, to the end of the reception, I felt like we were in good hand and would not be disappointed. And we weren’t! Ashley even maneuvered around this little “situation” perfectly: My Dad professionally recorded a song to a CD (yes a CD) for our first dance, as a surprise. When my fiancé reached out to Ashley to try and coordinate the switch from the song that we had planned to dance to, to my Dad’s professionally recorded song, they ran into a hiccup. No CD player. Not a problem! Ashley was easily able to make a work around for this and had my fiancé deliver the CD to one of her colleagues who burned it to an MP3 so they could play it at our reception. This extra effort goes above and beyond and shows that Ashley really takes pride in the way she runs her business. Fog City Entertainment is highly recommended!

I’m not usually one to write reviews but for Ashley Good and Fog City Entertainment, I HAD to! As a venue owner, I’ve met and had the pleasure of working with many DJ’s, but none have come close to touching Ashley. She’s ultra prepared, always shows up ahead of schedule, never needs anything for her set-up, and is genuinely eager to make each event better than the last. She works with her couples in advance of their big day to ensure song selections adequately meet the vibe they have anticipated and she’s always on point! Not only does she keep the dance floor full but she’s also an exceptional MC who ensures the pace and cadence of the party or reception is perfect. Ashley is fun, lively, professional, engaging, and fully “present” during each and every event and for her all of her clients. I highly recommend hiring Ashley or one of her fabulous teammates. She is absolutely our preferred vendor in this category and we are always excited for her next gig here! Call or request her soon for your next event! Ashley was fantastic! We initially weren't sure we were going to hire a DJ for our wedding, but after talking to Ashley, we both felt sure that we wanted to hire her. She was great about playing the music we wanted and other similar songs, and we appreciated that she kept the music at a reasonable volume, as we requested. Everything happened seamlessly, and we were never worried about anything related to music or mics for toasts, etc. She managed to get many of our guests dancing for a long time, which was pretty impressive given that our set of guests are not big dancers. Would highly recommend Ashley!

Ashley and her team at Fog City were so great to work with! She was very communicative with us from day 1, and we had multiple zoom meetings to coordinate everything. She is super friendly, professional and experienced, and had lots of recommendations for small things we hadn’t thought of to help make our day go as smoothly as possible. One thing I really appreciated is that she asked early on how much MCing we wanted, and we asked for minimal. The online portal for selecting songs was very intuitive to use, and allowed us to even get songs that were on Youtube and Soundcloud into the mix. The portal has lots of options for customizing your playlist (and do-not playlist), so taking your time and making sure you get everything dialed in can take a bit of time but is worth it. When it came to the day of the wedding, things could not have gone any smoother. They were able to get set up quickly, and ensure that our wireless mics were able to reach all of the places we needed them. During the ceremony, all of the music was perfectly on point. She absolutely NAILED the timing of our recessional song, something that I noticed and appreciated even through the emotion of the moment. The music during the reception was excellent as well - she incorporated all our selected songs with perfect transitions and timing to match the vibe of the night. She also incorporated some suggestions from our guests which was really fun. The audio for the night went on without a hitch. I couldn’t recommend Ashley and Fog City enough!

Ashley and her team from Fog City were absolutely amazing to work with! As a wedding vendor, it's not every day that you get to work with DJs who are communicative, organized, timely, and fun, and Ashely had all of those qualities. She communicated before the event, was early the day-of, was completely setup and ready to go without me having to ask, knew what was coming up next on the timeline, and was super flexible with any changes that needed to happen. She was always right on cue and did an amazing job getting the guests to join the dancefloor and give everyone that great experience they're hoping for at the end of the night. I heard so many positive comments from guests throughout the night about her and she really went above and beyond to make sure the couple and guests were having a good time. We had a great experience working with Fog City Entertainment - especially considering that the DJ we had booked had a health emergency the day before the wedding. Fortunately, they were able to find a replacement in such short notice and one that ended up being a very great fit. For a last minute booked DJ, he was able to deliver our requests and was well complimented by a lot of our guests. Ashley also was a pleasure to work with from the booking process to getting us to wedding day. We had a huge request with a custom track for some of our dances and she absolutely delivered - even making sure that we got the right tracks and edits! We also loved how they have an all inclusive package of DJ, lights and photobooth - it made booking with them so easy and worth it! You will for sure be in good hands booking with a reputable company like Fog City especially since they have a whole team ready to meet all your needs - and emergencies!

DJ Ashley was awesome to work with! She was so professional from the first consultation to the last, and we could tell she was an expert in what she does. Despite some challenges with weather and setup, she handled it perfectly with our day of coordinator. Her music selections were on point and overall she and her team were great to work with for our wedding.

Fog City was a joy to work with leading up to (and during) our big day! After searching through a bunch of vendors, Fog City was the only one who seemed interested and enthusiastic about our music choices. It finally felt like we were having a conversation about music instead of a stilted correspondence about pricing. We had a lot of very specific music requests for our wedding (unusual first dance choice, very specific versions of processional songs, etc). Ashley (the owner) and Dave (our DJ) were both so helpful. They put together shortened versions of songs for our first & last dance as well as our father-daughter & mother-son dances, and made sure to work with us to get versions we liked well ahead of our big day! Dave had amazing intuition, playing the perfect songs to get people dancing, and somehow catching the perfect song for my dad right as he walked into cocktail hour (we both teared up). Dave made sure to take care of everything, including announcing our toasts and dances, but most importantly he made sure our wedding was full of music and life!

We highly recommend Fog City Entertainment for their DJ and photobooth services. We decided to book a DJ last minute and Ashley was a lifesaver and a pleasure to work with. Fog City has an excellent online system that helps with coordinating the DJ. Everything worked out great. Everything was played at the appropriate time for the processional, cake cutting, recessional, toasts, etc. The processional track that we chose was not long enough, but DJ Garcia was able to extend it flawlessly! He saved the day. DJ Garcia also got everyone dancing with a great choice of music and mood lighting. Thank you!

Ashley is so fantastic! She is so organized, skilled, and reasonably priced. She was masterful at managing the music and pace of the wedding, and worked great with our coordinator. Real talk, some DJs have strange personalities and energy and it can be weird to have that as the voice of your wedding. But Ashley is the total opposite of that! She instantly made us feel comfortable during our initial call, and continued to provide ease and flexibility up to and throughout our wedding. She also has fanatic suggestions and a great platform for organizing what music you want and when in your wedding. She also has a really great voice when making announcements, even our guests commented on that! Lastly, her assistant was so thoughtful and attentive as well without ever being in the way. What more could anyone ask for? Highly, highly recommend. Oh, and who doesn’t love a woman run business? :)

DJ Ashley and her team did an absolutely amazing job with our wedding! Our planner and owner of the property we got married at threw a LOT at her that day and unfortunately were less than appropriate at times (100% on them, no fault of Ashley), but she handled everything like a complete pro. We had a few great calls leading up to the event so we felt totally listened to and prepared going into the day with zero stress about music. They listened to exactly what we wanted and not only played the songs we requested, but sprinkled in some requests here and there that made the event perfect music-wise. I had multiple people come up to me at the wedding telling me how great of a job she was doing and asking where we found FCE, so needless to say I would work with this team again in a heartbeat!! And, they also braved a VERY hot day (well into the 90's) which is appreciated in and of itself. Don't wait to book them!

Ashley and her crew at Fog City came highly recommended to us by our equally amazing reception venue team at OVY Camp. Our wedding coordinator also independently recommended her-- and they were both totally right. We were looking for a DJ who could handle more than one location (ceremony site and reception site) in the middle of the forest-- she delivered. We wanted a DJ who understood our taste in music, understood the vibe we were looking for, who we could hand that responsibility to and forget about it -- she totally delivered. We gave specific song requests for certain moments throughout the ceremony and reception using Ashley's planning tool (she executed perfectly), and then we kinda just shared a bunch of Spotify playlists with her and said "This is the music we vibe with. Can you keep people dancing all night?" She nailed it. We had the dance floor packed the ENTIRE NIGHT. And it felt really genuine to our taste. Ashley hit the perfect balance of injecting energy for specific announcements, but never picked up the mic just to hear her own voice. Which was a core value for us. Also-- Ashley is just a genuinely kind person who we enjoyed chatting with at the reception. Real bonus. I hope this is helpful for you as you work to check off those wedding boxes!!

We had a great experience with Michael at our wedding! He was a great DJ and just the right amount of emceeing to keep the evening moving smoothly. We had requested tons of random songs throughout the night and he pulled through with them all! The Photo Booth set up was also a huge hit!

Mike is so amazing and made our big day great! His online portal is super easy to use, and when I did have a few questions, he was able to answer them all. He was wonderful with the music for the ceremony, and the AV requirements we had (we wanted mics for songs, and readings, and our officiants etc) Then he did a great job introducing out HUGE bridal party, and getting everyone pumped and excited. The dancing portion of the evening was truly spectacular, I thought our dance floor would be empty because our friends are not huge dances by boy was I wrong. Mike did a great job getting everyone pumped and out there to dance, and was great at reading the crowd, and keeping the party alive. Wish we could do it again, so I could dance even more!

Fog City Entertainment did a great job setting the party vibe of our wedding. People said they hadn't been to a wedding where there was so much dancing. Our friends and family truly seemed to have a great time during our wedding and that is due to the professionalism and expertise of Fog City.

We loved our dj mike Santillan!! He was the best! From the beginning he helped answer all my questions through email and even met with us to go over how to use their website and add our own music! The day of he was very helpful and guided us perfectly throughout the whole night. Definitely recommended fog city ent and dj mike!!

I was able to have Mike as our DJ for our wedding on Friday! Mike answered all of my emails and was super easy to work with! Planning a destination wedding can be difficult, but I was able to book Mike by email and I didn't get to meet him till the day before the wedding! He was able to accommodate everything that we asked. Our ceremony was on the beach and he was able to bring enough cord to have music and sound for the ceremony (300 ft down!) and he was still able to have everything set up inside for the reception too. He had an awesome online program where we were able to fill out all of the songs we wanted for the ceremony and reception, it kept everything super organized and made it easy to plan our wedding! Mike also kept us on schedule all night. He would come up and talk with us when it was time to announce everyone, do the speeches, start the cake cutting, have the first dance, do the bouquet toss, do the garter toss. He made the entire night run smoothly and easily! He made our night worry free. I would highly recommend Mike and his company!

Mike was the DJ and MC for our wedding at La Costanera, and he was perfect. Great selection of music, super easy to give him additional music that we wanted (e.g. a friend of ours plays jazz and we wanted his music for our cocktail hour, but he wouldn't be in any music databases anywhere), great voice and temperament for making announcements to move people through the event (not cheesy, clear and friendly), and kept everyone dancing for hours! He even did the music for our ceremony, and did a beautiful job cutting together and pacing the songs we wanted. Mike helped our event run smoothly and made it all the more memorable, I can't recommend him enough!

We are so happy with our DJ from Fog City Entertainment! Everyone at our wedding had a blast. Jose played our music perfectly during our ceremony and at the reception. Our song list had so many different genres from Latin tracks to Franck Sinatra and Jose was to make everyone happy. He knew how to keep our guests dancing. I would definitely recommend Jose from Fog City to anyone looking for an awesome DJ. You will not be disappointed!

Fog City Entertainment provided a DJ and a photo Booth for me for my wedding. Mike, the DJ, was incredible because he knew how to keep people on the dance floor. He also did a great job of working with my wedding coordinator to keep the evening's schedule on track and moving. The photo Booth that was provided was a hit at the wedding. The one comment everybody made was how good the lighting was because everyone looked good in the pictures. I cannot wait to throw another party so I can hire this vendor again.

Picking Fog City was probably one of the best choices I made. They provided my DJ, photo booth, and day of coordinator. As it got close to my wedding day, it was clear that having those linked would allow things to go more smoothly since they had all worked together before. Mike, the head of the company even came out of my wedding day to make sure things ran smoothly. Sonny was my DJ and he was amazing. It's rare to have a wedding during which the dance floor gets empty for a song or two, but he pulled it off. We gave him a list of songs we liked and he put together a great mix that was reflective of our taste and well suited to keep the party going. Many of our guests told me how great the music was and people didn't want to leave when the wedding ended. Stacey was my Day of Coordinator and she was a pleasure to work with. As we talked leading up to the wedding, it was clear that she understood what was and wasn't important to me. That allowed me to truly enjoy my wedding day because I knew she would make sure that the wedding I had envisioned became reality. It all went off much more smoothly than I expected and I have Stacey to thank for that.

Mike was wonderful. Not only do they do music, they do lighting too! He answered all of my questions, was super fast with everything and did a great job. I wish more of our guests were in the dancing mood. He did a great job of keeping the energy up despite that. My husband is German American- he also found some more rare songs that we used in the reception.

Mike was the DJ at my wedding at the San Francisco. He was awesome, and looked great! I booked him over a year in adnHe put up with my numerous questions and requests. My friends can not stop talking about how great the music was. He was able to handle my requests, as well and many of the guest requests. My dad made the father-daughter dance song a surprise by speaking directly to Mike, which made it an even better experience. I would recommend Fog City to a friend, and if I need a DJ in the future I would go back to them!

My husband and I only met with one DJ in our search, Mike, from Fog City. We knew right away that he would do a great job for us and was the perfect fit. We sent him a list of the songs we wanted played, and not played, and from there, he put together the greatest playlist. The dance floor was full all night long with both the older people as well as the young ones. After the wedding we received so many compliments on the DJ and how impressed they were with him. The DJ ended up being one of the less expensive vendors we had but you would never know it based on the service they provided. I highly recommend them for anyone's wedding. Thank you Mike!

Mike from Fog City Entertainment DJ-ed our wedding on October 19th, 2012 and he was the absolute best! I've NEVER done a review on a vendor before but for Mike and Fog City - I just had to. We had approx 90 guests and Mike made everything super easy and was very professional. Most importantly, I didn't once worry about the music throughout the night and there was not a soul in a seat all night long! Mike played the perfect mix of music so that everybody got up and danced all night long - even my friends who "do not dance" were up and at it all night long! If you're looking for a DJ who plays great music and keeps the party going all night long, Mike from Fog City is for you. All of our guests had a blast and I would say a huge part of that was due to Mike. THANK YOU, MIKE!!

This is a fantastic company in my opinion. Mike was always very quick to respond to my emails, quickly got our contract in place and offered very competitive pricing. Our wedding DJ was Sonny and he was amazing. He was never cheesy or over the top but knew how to keep the crowd entertained. He did a great job announcing my wedding party and all of the different events. He played all of the music we requested and also took cues from the crowd. Sonny was nice, professional and did a great job. I would definitely recommend Fog City Entertainment...especially Sonny!

We were so happy with our DJ choice from Fog City, Sonny Garcia, because he made our reception so much fun! He did an amazing job at reading the crowd to choose which style of music to play next. He had all of our guests out on the dance floor, young and old; me and the groom had a wonderful time dancing, too, and we were so sad when the music was over! Sonny had us complete forms so he could have all the music ready for our big day, which made our reception run smoothly. We can't thank Sonny and Fog City enough for making our wedding reception such a big hit!

Wedding DJs are weird. We talked to a lot of DJs and many just didn't fit into the fun/casual but still tasteful vibe we wanted for our wedding. We probably spent more time picking a DJ than any other vendor (and were sort of amazed at how hard it was!) So when we found Mike we were really grateful. He's a pro - easy to deal with, confidence-inspiring and still fun in the way you want a DJ to be. He dealt with all our requests taught us a few things about how our wedding day might flow and listened carefully to understand what was important to us. Also - he'd coincidentally worked with our coordinator before (we selected them separately) and they did a bunch of coordination behind the scenes that made everything seamless. Just a great experience. We'd recommend Mike and Fog City Entertainment enthusiastically and without reservation.

Our DJ was Sonny. I liked that he took the time to get to know us outside of simply meeting us to discuss music. My only complaint would be that some events were not really announced, on the positive side, he was easy to hear and easy to understand!

They were great for planning purposes; no complaints there. However, during my reception, she played songs on my do not play list (and we were very clear about only playing songs on list). Also, there was a time where everyone was loving the music and dance floor was full. At this time, there was sudden silence and she said she had to play Journey because a 10yo asked for it (and this was on my do not play list). The dance floor completely cleared; quite disappointing.

I am so happy I went with this company. They paired me with Sonny Garcia as my DJ, and he was SO MUCH FUN! When he came over to do the interview at the house, he was completely open to whatever my husband and I wanted to have played. He didn't mind that we didn't want the traditional money dance or garter toss... he just got excited about what we did want. When the day of the wedding came, Sonny kept everybody on the dance floor the entire night. There wasn't an off moment. I thought I would be talking with the guests more and walking around, but I was instead dancing all night with all of the guests. The best part is that Sonny was more than just a DJ. He helped out with everything. When I arrived, he was the first person there and helped me get all my things in my room. At the end of the night, he helped carry things, organize what was going where, and had a smile on his face the whole time. ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! The affordability and service of this place is unbeatable!

DJ Mike was a better DJ than we could have asked for. Our goal was to keep the dance floor going all night long and he achieved that 110%. Mike played a mix of pop, oldies, as well as a good mix of latino music (per our request). He played every song we requested before hand as well as those our guests asked for at the reception. Great vendor to work with!

I used Fog City for my wedding and Mike was amazing from beginning to end. When I first started researching DJs I was very overwhelmed with all the options out there, but something about Fog City's website put me at ease and made me feel like they were "the one". Sure enough, they did not let me down. They have been in business for years and definitely know their stuff. Mike even came all the way out to our neighborhood to meet with us on a Saturday afternoon! They have an entire process to help nail down what will be played exactly at which point in the reception, and they'll take the time to guide you through and help you out if you're unsure. Mike is super patient, reliable and just a really good, nice guy. The day of the wedding he was totally "feeling" the crowd and everyone was on the dancefloor. People are still commenting about how awesome the music was. And Mike did not take over the mic or play any anything I asked him not to, and did not do any cheesy conga lines or chicken dances (but I'm sure he would if you're into that). I would highly recommend Fog City Entertainment for your wedding.

He was great. he didn't take over the microphone, only made announcements whe necessary. he played great music, had everyone's requests, and didn't play any cheesy music or anything on my do not play list. He was very easy to work with. he also stayed overtime, for a small fee.

David Carvalho was our DJ and he absilutely amazing. It was very important to us that everyone dance and have fun at the wedding and David made sure of that there was not one person sitting the entire time it was unbelievable!

Russ was easy to work with and helped us plan our whole reception timeline. He played a great selection of music and kept the dance floor busy!

David Carvahlo was our DJ and he was great to work with. He met with us to go over the music selection and understood our personalties and family backgrounds well. He was able to blend in music to appeal to different cultures and generations.

Great dance DJ. He took a list of our song choices and got a good feel of our tastes.;After we left and the party went on, the music got a bit louder when guests just wanted to mingle. Designate a person to take care of the DJ and let him know if the crowd looks like they might just want some toned down music.
