Followell Fotography

As I sit here writing this review, I am overwhelmed with a wave of happiness and warmth reflecting on our experience with Followell Fotography, and all I can do is smile. Followell Fotography provided photography for our wedding, which was originally scheduled for July 2020, but postponed to July 2021 due to COVID. I am the type of person who searches through all possible options prior to making a choice, and in comparison to the MANY photography companies who I communicated with, Robby and his team exceeded our expectations every step of the way. From their website, the frequency, clarity and authenticity of their communication, to their professionalism and responsiveness, to their fun and joyful personalities and energy (literally, their packages are named "fun" and "funner"!), they were all absolute joys to work with from the onset of our initial inquiry outreach to the last moments of our wedding night. In working with Followell Fotography, you will notice things that set them far apart from others. Robby FaceTimed us for our first communication to answer all questions we had. Robby asked us questions to get to know us, our love story, and to know our wedding vision, and without even knowing us exuded such a genuine excitement for us and a delicate care for capturing our special moments. Our next interaction was our engagement shoot when we finally saw Robby at work - DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED on his talent! The shoot was on a freezing cold winter day in New York (did I mentioned he traveled for us?!) and despite our shivering and teeth chattering he (and his wonderful wife, Jess) made us feel natural and have fun in front of the camera and captured cozy love and warmth between my fiance and I. We were beyond happy with the photos. Then, when we were faced with the awful circumstances of COVID and the decision to have to postpone our wedding, Robby and his team remained communicative, flexible and so genuinely caring about our experience. Finally, on the wedding day, without much surprise, Robby AGAIN exceeded our expectations. He kept us, each of our friends, family members, bridal party members genuinely laughing and smiling all day long (no, really, like belly laughing). He also worked very well with our videographer, who was from a separate company. Even before seeing the photos, we received texts and calls asking us "Where did you find that photographer?! He was amazing!" because of Robby's professionalism, organization, sense of humor and energy that exuded genuine care for our experience. All day, he was one step ahead of me, gently reminding ME of the schedule of the day when I was caught up spinning in bliss and forgetting what came next - thank you, Robby :). My husband and I marveled when watching him take in the surroundings and visualize the perfect shot - for every shot - his talent and passion for his craft just puts a smile on your face! His assistant, Jon, accompanied him that day and was, too, a pleasure to work with! Then, Robby offered some additional services out of the kindness of his heart, which was just the icing on the cake after everything. I really can go on and on about Robby and his team. Followell Fotography was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Despite the whirlwind of 2020/2021, Robby and his team remained a source of calm, clarity and pure joy for us. Robby will truly have a special place in our hearts (and our families' hearts) for the rest of our lives. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
