ellent, particularly the seasoning on all of the vegetables. He was willing to work with us on a gluten free menu, special dishes for my very picky brother and my elderly grandmother. The service we received on the day of was extremely good. We chose the buffet dinner, but there were still servers keeping water glasses filled and busing the tables. Chef Brech was personally there for our wedding and also brought a different coordinator to keep everything running smoothly while he prepped food in the tent they brought with them. When we ran out of white wine early in the evening, the coordinator even made a run to the store to get some more! The price was fantastic and we just got so much service for that price along with the good food.

They were quick with emails responses, always willing to suggest different ways to achieve the menu we had in mind, and always so professional and friendly. We went with a custom buffet with garden salad, beef tenderloin medallions, sicilian chicken, with traditional rice pilaf, herb roasted redskins, and fresh green bean almandine. It was phenomenal! All night we received compliments from our guest on how delightful the food was. From the beautiful linens and napkins to the amazing service, easily 10 out of 10! (the groom) had to go out behind the tent looking for the Chef Brech employees and when I found them, they were smoking! I couldn't believe the lack of preparation and professionalism from a supposed wedding caterer. I informed Steve Brechting (the owner) about what happened and he never responded. It's clear that his strategy is to get you to fork over thousands of dollars for your event, do a terrible job, and then move onto the next event without apologizing or providing compensation. Chef Brech is the definition of poor customer service. I obviously wouldn't choose them again for any event.

d to offer since we had never been to an event catered by them. It started off a little rocky and only got worse from there. The wedding size was around 100 people and the bar was unable to get the beer to pour properly, after only 1 hour of service they ran out of moscato and an hour after that the chardonnay was gone as well, by 10pm there was no white wine at all. On to what really matters, the food! The wedding party did speeches, we toasted half a dozen times over a 20 minute period, and when the dj released the head table things got weird. When the wedding party arrived to the buffet they were met with no food, nothing!! Looking confused the wedding party broke apart and began mingling with guests at the tables. 20 minutes later servers began bringing out a variety of pizzas and some warm salad for everyone to be disgusted by, that was the best part. The pizza was on frozen dough and it was obviously stone cold. The cheese was hard and dry, the chicken pesto pizza might have been good if it wasnt cold and on a crust that I assume was made from a recycled cardboard substance. At the end of the buffet was a basket of breadsticks (made from the same recycled cardboard crust) and marinara sauce that was in a chaffing dish but was also merely luke warm. It didnt ruin the night because the food wasnt the reason we were there, however Chef Brech and Food Design should consider themselves lucky this wasnt my wedding...
