I'm not joking). From the start, they were a dream to work with. Our priorities matched up well and one of the standout features of their work is that unlike other photographers, EVERY. SINGLE. SHOT. they deliver is a beautiful one. You get so much more bang for your buck and so many more quality photos compared to the full galleries I saw of other photographers.
They are the kindest, sweetest couple and their love for one another is palpable and truly warms your heart. They made us feel so incredibly comfortable in front of the camera during both our engagement shoot and our wedding day. My husband and I are not PDA people, but we felt comfortable expressing in front of the camera. We're also a little bit silly and there was good breathing room between the poses they put us in, for us to just laugh with one another. They laughed along with us and never made us feel like us having fun with one another ruined a shot.
In the moments that mattered most, they were there to keep us calm and collected. This was most evident during the getting ready portion of our wedding day when HMU was running far behind on the schedule. I had to make up the time I was supposed to have to write my vows and it ate into the other portions of the schedule. I felt so overwhelmed and Nardia was really one of the only people that was helping to calm me down. She was truly a godsend for keeping me on track and relaxed.
Looking at our engagement photos, I felt so grateful that someone was able to capture the carefree essence of us as a couple in such a beautiful. Looking at our wedding photos, I felt the same, along with the gratitude for being able to see all the hard work we put into the day captured so artistically. It was also the first time that I, as someone who has body dysmorphia and hates most pictures of myself, ever thought I looked truly beautiful. I think of the 1,000+ images they delivered of the day, there were probably 2 I didn't like the way I looked. That is so rare for me and one of the best gifts they could have ever given me.
So looking forward to creating an album and printing and framing up these photos. I find myself looking back at the gallery often and finding a new favorite.
Words can't express what a wonderful gift their talent is. Forever recommending them to every friend and family member, and looking forward to working with them in the future as my husband and I build a family with each other.

Fast forward to today -- we got married in May 2022 and CANNOT be happier with our photos and film! Although Nardia and Dan were not our photographers on the day of, their team is just as amazing. I'll be honest -- we were a little skeptical at first when we found out it wouldn't be Nardia and Dan capturing our big day, but honestly their team is so talented and personable! As expected, many things went astray the day of while we were getting ready, and the team was so calm and pleasant to be around. Our bridal party LOVED them!! We recently received our photos and video and literally couldn't be happier. The photos are gorgeous and capture the essence and vibe we were looking for. They really take the time to listen to you and understand what your style is. The video too is just incredible, I have no words. It is the perfect balance that we wanted of sentiment and emotions while still being light-hearted and refreshing. We have gotten so many compliments from family, friends, and even other vendors! The team that captured our wedding was amazing, but I will also say that Nardia is behind all of this. I've been following her since 2020 and I just know how passionate she is about her work. I feel her presence in all of our photos and video, adding her special touch and making sure everything passes through her approval. We couldn't be happier we chose Foolishly Rushing In. Dan is EXCEPTIONALLY talented at what he does- our video balances all of the emotional, tender moments with the crazy party after. Our final product was perfection, and some of our friends hired them too after seeing our video!

We love how Dan seamlessly tied together the intimacy of our engagement shoot on the beach, the buildup to and emotion of our wedding ceremony and the crazy fun of our wedding reception. Dan’s editing work is top notch, and he captured such an amazing range of both heartfelt and wild moments all with an amazing soundtrack. While we used a different photographer for our Austin-based wedding, Nardia shot our engagement photos in Laguna Beach and we were blown away by the beauty of her work and how comfortable she made us feel. I really appreciated the tips she gave us on how to hug/kiss/interact in front of the camera to avoid awkward photos and my dreaded double-chin ;) Dan and Nardia are such kind souls who make it a point to connect with their couples and get to know them so the end product feels super personal and spot-on. they were the one. We booked them as soon as I found them and the process was so smooth. The video quality is out of this world and looks like celebrity quality. There were so many good photos to choose from and they were so candid, which we love! Nardia and Dan faced a challenge because we were ballers on a budget and we encountered a few hiccups during our wedding planning. Nardia and Dan went above and beyond to make our wildest dreams come true and made us feel secure in our decisions. During the engagement and wedding shoot, they made us feel secure in our bodies and corrected us along the way to avoid ugly photos (double chin and duck face). They were behind the scenes most of the time, but when we needed them they would fly into action. During the wedding, they were so chill and professional that it comforted us during the stressful day. Overall, I think Nardia and Dan were the best decision for our wedding and hopefully later on in life we can use them for our future adventures in life. Love you guys!

Our engagement shoot was non-traditional in the sense that my husband and I had been engaged for 3 years and never intended to do one. I’m so glad we did. Our original location was busy and while we were on our way they scoped out a new location to make it the best it could be. Our pictures came out beautiful and they made us so comfortable. My husband and I are not the serious type and they really integrated how much we were laughing and goofing off into some amazing shots. That night we had dinner together and they truly became our friends.
Our wedding day was planned out well in advance with a shot by shot timeline and I never once had to worry about their punctuality, professionalism, or anything of the sort. They corralled our crazy family for pictures, helped move the day along, and best of all they were seriously treasured guests. It’s so important to love a vendor that you’ll be spending more time with at your wedding than anyone else. Our wedding pictures are beautiful, our video is seriously movie quality, and our friends and family even have the photos from our wedding as their profile pictures because they made sure to capture all the people special to us having fun as well as the posed shots.
