Going into wedding planning, our two vendor priorities were photography and music. We chose to work with Dan and Nardia, after I reviewed over 600 wedding photographers (literally,...
I'm not joking). From the start, they were a dream to work with. Our priorities matched up well and one of the standout features of their work is that unlike other photographers, EVERY. SINGLE. SHOT. they deliver is a beautiful one. You get so much more bang for your buck and so many more quality photos compared to the full galleries I saw of other photographers.
They are the kindest, sweetest couple and their love for one another is palpable and truly warms your heart. They made us feel so incredibly comfortable in front of the camera during both our engagement shoot and our wedding day. My husband and I are not PDA people, but we felt comfortable expressing in front of the camera. We're also a little bit silly and there was good breathing room between the poses they put us in, for us to just laugh with one another. They laughed along with us and never made us feel like us having fun with one another ruined a shot.
In the moments that mattered most, they were there to keep us calm and collected. This was most evident during the getting ready portion of our wedding day when HMU was running far behind on the schedule. I had to make up the time I was supposed to have to write my vows and it ate into the other portions of the schedule. I felt so overwhelmed and Nardia was really one of the only people that was helping to calm me down. She was truly a godsend for keeping me on track and relaxed.
Looking at our engagement photos, I felt so grateful that someone was able to capture the carefree essence of us as a couple in such a beautiful. Looking at our wedding photos, I felt the same, along with the gratitude for being able to see all the hard work we put into the day captured so artistically. It was also the first time that I, as someone who has body dysmorphia and hates most pictures of myself, ever thought I looked truly beautiful. I think of the 1,000+ images they delivered of the day, there were probably 2 I didn't like the way I looked. That is so rare for me and one of the best gifts they could have ever given me.
So looking forward to creating an album and printing and framing up these photos. I find myself looking back at the gallery often and finding a new favorite.
Words can't express what a wonderful gift their talent is. Forever recommending them to every friend and family member, and looking forward to working with them in the future as my husband and I build a family with each other.
My husband and I got engaged back in 2020 during the pandemic and looked long and hard for the right photographer to capture our wedding. We stumbled across Nardia and Dan of Fooli...
shly Rushing In on Instagram and fell in love with their work. We immediately inquired and they were and always have been so responsive and sweet. Fast forward to today -- we got married in May 2022 and CANNOT be happier with our photos and film! Although Nardia and Dan were not our photographers on the day of, their team is just as amazing. I'll be honest -- we were a little skeptical at first when we found out it wouldn't be Nardia and Dan capturing our big day, but honestly their team is so talented and personable! As expected, many things went astray the day of while we were getting ready, and the team was so calm and pleasant to be around. Our bridal party LOVED them!! We recently received our photos and video and literally couldn't be happier. The photos are gorgeous and capture the essence and vibe we were looking for. They really take the time to listen to you and understand what your style is. The video too is just incredible, I have no words. It is the perfect balance that we wanted of sentiment and emotions while still being light-hearted and refreshing. We have gotten so many compliments from family, friends, and even other vendors! The team that captured our wedding was amazing, but I will also say that Nardia is behind all of this. I've been following her since 2020 and I just know how passionate she is about her work. I feel her presence in all of our photos and video, adding her special touch and making sure everything passes through her approval. We couldn't be happier we chose Foolishly Rushing In. I even asked my husband if we can throw another event just so that we can hire them again. Thank you so much to Nardia and team, you guys are amazing <3
Dan and Nardia are the best wedding photographers we've seen. We hired them for not only our wedding, but our engagement photos AND our elopement in 2020 when we postponed our wedd...

tos - they captured every moment so perfectly! Everything turned out better than we could have ever dreamed of and we can't thank Nardia and Dan enough. The day of the wedding, their team was so incredibly professional, and they were both such a source of calm throughout the entire day/night. They took the time to get to know us as a couple before working together, and that truly showed in how they captured our love story. Highly recommend the Foolishly Rushing In team, and we would hire them again in a heartbeat!
Dan and Nardia from Foolishly Rushing in are an absolute blessing, photography and video super heroes, power couple goals, the list goes on… We were lucky enough to have them shoot...
our weeding and it’s the best money I’ve ever spent.
They’re incredibly TALENTED and not just on what you see on video and photo. So much thoughtfulness goes into the whole process from the initial inquiry to your special day. They’re pros at making you feel at ease, they connect so well with everyone , all the personal touch while being professional. They also use top of the line tools to help you navigate the process such a client portal and gallery portal, etc. We get nothing but compliments on our wedding video and photos.
I really can’t say enough great things about them!
Hiring Dan and Nardia to capture our wedding video was hands down the best decision we could have ever made for our special day. Every single video of theirs that I watched ahead o...
f hiring them brought me to tears, which is what I hoped for our own video, and boy, did they deliver. Dan is EXCEPTIONALLY talented at what he does- our video balances all of the emotional, tender moments with the crazy party after. Our final product was perfection, and some of our friends hired them too after seeing our video!
You will never, EVER regret trusting Foolishly Rushing In to capture your big day. I only wish I had found them earlier to have them present for our engagement pictures too!
Foolishly Rushing In was an absolute dream to work with. We worked with them to capture both our engagement and wedding day. No matter how awkward you may feel in front of a camera...
, they somehow capture your love in such a pure and honest form. If you are very particular about color grading, you'd be happy to know that theirs is consistent and just gorgeous throughout! We loved how the end result wasn't too "posey," but looked natural and candid. Their films are incredible works of art, going in perfect sync with music to create such a gorgeous product. It was such a joy to work with them and we continue recommending them to everyone we know!
WOW WOW WOW! No words can express just how talented these two are when it comes to their craft. First of all, their work is absolutely stunning! I cry and laugh (and sob) every tim...
e I watch our wedding video, and we’ve received endless compliments from family & friends who agree that it is absolute perfection! We love how Dan seamlessly tied together the intimacy of our engagement shoot on the beach, the buildup to and emotion of our wedding ceremony and the crazy fun of our wedding reception. Dan’s editing work is top notch, and he captured such an amazing range of both heartfelt and wild moments all with an amazing soundtrack. While we used a different photographer for our Austin-based wedding, Nardia shot our engagement photos in Laguna Beach and we were blown away by the beauty of her work and how comfortable she made us feel. I really appreciated the tips she gave us on how to hug/kiss/interact in front of the camera to avoid awkward photos and my dreaded double-chin ;) Dan and Nardia are such kind souls who make it a point to connect with their couples and get to know them so the end product feels super personal and spot-on. We can’t say enough wonderful things about them and would highly recommend them for engagement shoots, wedding shoots and any other photography/videography needs!
To say these two are a dream is an understatement! Not only do I have the pleasure of knowing them personally, I had the honor of having them capture our wedding day. They knew how...
to deliver without my husband Brandon and I even telling them. All the moments we thought we had missed our big day were definitely captured and even more memories! Our video was like a movie and had everyone crying all over again. We had so many photos and were able to give them out as gifts, cards, and even print and have up in our house. The quality of work these two do is so personable and they make you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. We are just smitten with them. We can’t thank them enough for all there hard work. We recommend them for any special occasion.
Nardia and Dan were amazing to work with!
Not only did they make the scheduling, communications, and all the crazy logistics super easy, but they are incredibly fun and talented...
as our photographer and videographer.
They shot both video and photo for our engagement and wedding. They always made sure we were completely relaxed and comfortable, and I remember commenting to Jack right afterwards that Dan and Nardia were able to bring out the best in us and then capture our love into a permanent memory.
The photos and video are gorgeous. We are so thankful and lucky to be recommended to them from a trusted friend.
Wishing you both the best!
C&J.

Where to even start with these two! I can't put into words how much I love working beside Dan and Nardia. They're beyond talented and working with them gets better every time. I've...
been lucky enough to work with them on several different projects and they never disappoint. Nardia has a way of taking control of any situation all well making you feel comfortable and capturing the most beautiful images and Dan videos literally bring me to tears every time. He edits things to perfection to take you right back to that moment and he always picks the best songs. I love that they are a couple because working with them is just that much better. They feed off each other and support what the other needs to fulfill the overall vision. Dan and Nardia are the real deal and you won't be disappointed. Book them immediately!

If you want to know more... here is the 411! Nardia and Dan are two kind, professional, enthusiastic, loving souls. I don’t even think they realize how talented they are individually, and together their work is simply magic!
For our engagement shoot they found this wonderful and unique LA loft that truly captured our essence as a couple. During the shoot I was so nervous but they had music and knew exactly what to say to allow my (then) fiancé and I to get comfortable. We thought we had seen the best of their work that day, but there was more...
On the actual wedding day they just surpassed any expectation that we had. They were like silent ninjas getting the job done. I don’t recall seeing them at certain points in the wedding, yet they captured every single moment.
We are forever fans of them as people and of their work. I literally look forward to their daily Instagram posts because their work is truly based on the purity of love. Not the posed type of moments... but the candid, pure, once in a lifetime types of moments.
We feel so blessed to have worked with you! And can’t wait to see how much more you will grow, and how many more amazing moments you will share with the world.
I can't remember how I found Nardia and Dan, but it's the best decision for the our whole wedding experience. We fell in love with some of their earlier work and that's how we knew...
they were the one. We booked them as soon as I found them and the process was so smooth. The video quality is out of this world and looks like celebrity quality. There were so many good photos to choose from and they were so candid, which we love! Nardia and Dan faced a challenge because we were ballers on a budget and we encountered a few hiccups during our wedding planning. Nardia and Dan went above and beyond to make our wildest dreams come true and made us feel secure in our decisions. During the engagement and wedding shoot, they made us feel secure in our bodies and corrected us along the way to avoid ugly photos (double chin and duck face). They were behind the scenes most of the time, but when we needed them they would fly into action. During the wedding, they were so chill and professional that it comforted us during the stressful day. Overall, I think Nardia and Dan were the best decision for our wedding and hopefully later on in life we can use them for our future adventures in life. Love you guys!
Hire them now! Choosing Nardia and Dan will seriously be the best decision you will make during your wedding planning process and for the rest of your lives. We hired them for phot...
ography and videography and they did such a fantastic job curating and capturing such a stunning representation of our special day. The lighting, color, angles, expressions, music, etc. were perfect and so beautiful. We have received so many compliments from our family and friends on their work. They are truly masters at their craft and we are so grateful that we were graced to work with such a talented and down to earth duo. Their chemistry, calm and lighthearted husband & wife collaboration has shown us what beautiful things can come out a happy marriage and serves as an inspiring example of what we would like work towards as newlyweds. Once you meet them you will agree!
WOW! WOW! WOW! There are no words. Nardia and Dan were so incredible to work with. Hands down the best decision we made for our wedding day was hiring them. They have such a wonder...
ful approach to their work- it's clear that this isn't just a profession for them, but a passion that they both share. Dans' videography was absolutely breathtaking and I am so happy that we found them through the knot! My only regret is that I can't share any of the pics on this review!
Not only is their work incredible, but they are some of the nicest human beings on the planet- so down to earth and easy to get along with. Just all around amazing people and their love of life and love is contagious. Drool over their instagram. Hire them. You won't regret it.

ate Dan is about his videos & Nardia's photos turned out so dreamy. They are overall just awesome to work with. One thing that really stood out to me is that they went out of their way to help us capture our perfect engagement photos (actual 100+ miles) - it was one of the best experiences my then-fiance and I had throughout our whole wedding process. Planning a wedding is stressful but knowing I had them helped alleviate a lot of the stress.

ght I wouldn’t find the right one for us. After sending a request for pricing, they checked out my Instagram for bits of my personal style and scheduled time for us to video chat about specifics.
Our engagement shoot was non-traditional in the sense that my husband and I had been engaged for 3 years and never intended to do one. I’m so glad we did. Our original location was busy and while we were on our way they scoped out a new location to make it the best it could be. Our pictures came out beautiful and they made us so comfortable. My husband and I are not the serious type and they really integrated how much we were laughing and goofing off into some amazing shots. That night we had dinner together and they truly became our friends.
Our wedding day was planned out well in advance with a shot by shot timeline and I never once had to worry about their punctuality, professionalism, or anything of the sort. They corralled our crazy family for pictures, helped move the day along, and best of all they were seriously treasured guests. It’s so important to love a vendor that you’ll be spending more time with at your wedding than anyone else. Our wedding pictures are beautiful, our video is seriously movie quality, and our friends and family even have the photos from our wedding as their profile pictures because they made sure to capture all the people special to us having fun as well as the posed shots.
I can not recommend this pair more. They truly have passion for what they do and love for the couples they work with And. It. Shows. They made our dreams come true and we’re blessed to have become their friends through this experience.
I found this hubby/wife team through The Knot and have absolutely zero regrets. Nardia & Dan are so talented, easy to work with, and fun to be around! I love their vision and edits...

We had so much fun with Nardia and Dan...so THANK YOU to you and your team for an awesome experience.

. From the first phone call we felt comfortable with them and knew we wanted them to capture our special day. With crazy schedules we were able to find something that worked for us for our engagement shoot. They gave us guidance but never made us feel like we weren’t being who we are as a couple. When we received our photos from our engagement session it exceeded my expectations and we are so happy with how they turned out. We would highly recommend them to anyone! They are professionals at their craft but have such a personal touch it truly makes the process that much more enjoyable. We can’t wait to see how our video and wedding photos turn out! They are truly the best!

young couple to shoot your wedding they know how to be creative and what is popular in social media nowadays.
They listened to what and how I want them to capture our special moments and it was beyond than what I expected.
I like Nardia's creative photo shoot style, she spends time editing them and it was well worth the wait. I like the softness she captures in her pictures and the warm feeling it gives off. It was perfect for my wedding theme and the more her pictures made my wedding feel elegant and classy like it came straight out of a bridal magazine.
I look forward to seeing Dan's video :)
My fiance and I can't say enough great things about Nardia and Dan from Foolishly Rushing In. We had a vision of what we wanted from our wedding photographer/videographer, so when ...
we randomly came across their work on Instagram, we knew we had to reach out!
From our first chat over FaceTime (suggested by them!), to our engagement session, they made us feel at ease; they genuinely want to get to know each couple they're working with in order to capture who they are. We shared our ideas of what we wanted for our engagement shoot and they not only delivered, but the photos and video were better than we could've asked for!
Nardia and Dan are such a talented couple that I want all my engaged friends to hire them for their wedding!

and Nardia were so enjoyable to work with - from the initial emails and phone conversations to the day of our wedding, to the final footage, everything was so organized and professional. After receiving our film, I shared the link with our guests so they would be able to see the video as well. I received comments, texts, and calls from not only our wedding guests, but a number of other individuals remarking on how beautiful the film turned out and how unexpectedly emotional they became while watching it. We received the photos and videos sooner than I expected. They work around the clock to make a perfect product that is so personal and custom to each couple. Look at their videos and you will see each one is so unique. Dan and Nardia truly portrayed the essence of our day - from start to finish. I am so grateful for this husband/wife team and would highly recommend them to any couple in search of gorgeous and authentic wedding photos and film.

We were fortunate to be introduced to them through a coworker who happened to work alongside us, and voila! they became our wedding vendor for videography. They are such a fun couple and their skillset definitely shows in the finished product. Needless to say, this is the one vendor that you MUST BOOK.
You guys rock!

solutely no one else that would have been a better fit. We had a mixed wedding so it was so important to us (and our families) to be able to capture the cultural aspects on both sides. They were with us every step of the way and made sure not to miss a minute of it (seriously, every single detail was captured!). We felt like family by the end of the weekend! ❤️ When we got the video though, it was beyond phenomenal and better than anything we could have ever imagined! I had friends, family, and even friends of friends reaching out to me about how amazing it was. They captured Jeromy and I’s relationship so perfectly. I watched our video over and over again and still do! Please don’t hesitate to hire them, it will be one of the best decisions you make for your special day! They are the most hardworking and passionate people we know!!

They were so great to work with, professional but tons of fun, and always on point capturing the perfect shot! I love their creations so much that I subscribed to their Vimeo account just to keep up on the new releases! Each one is so different from the other. SO creative! They really take the time to understand each and every couple to showcase what makes their love story so unique and special. I love these two and couldn’t say enough how incredible they are as people and creative forces of nature :) Thank you so much!
