A Blooming Marvel: Our Experience with Foraged Floral Design
When it came to the floral arrangements for our wedding, Jacque and her team at Foraged Floral Design in Islamorada exc...
eeded all of our expectations. Their creativity and attention to detail truly brought our vision to life, and we couldn't have been happier with the results.
One of the standout features of our wedding was the stunning Seussian Florida Arch that Jacque designed for us. It was whimsical, vibrant, and unlike anything we'd ever seen—an absolute showstopper that left our guests in awe. The arch was a perfect reflection of the playful yet elegant vibe we wanted for our special day.
We also adored the simple fern and wicker lanterns placed at the end of each aisle. They added a classic yet tropical touch that perfectly tied in with the overall theme, enhancing the beauty of the ceremony space.
Jacque's dedication was truly impressive, as she traveled down to Key West to ensure every detail was perfect for our wedding. Throughout the planning process, we gave her the freedom to work her magic without micromanaging, and her creativity truly blossomed. She listened carefully to our ideas, added her own creative flair, and then brought everything together in a way that surpassed our wildest dreams. The arrangements were not only beautiful but also thoughtfully crafted to complement the unique elements of our wedding.
From the bouquets to the centerpieces, every detail was meticulously executed, and the colors and textures of the flowers perfectly matched the aesthetic we were going for. Jacque and her team went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect, and their passion for what they do was evident in every petal.
We couldn't have asked for a more talented or dedicated floral designer. Thank you, Jacque, for making our wedding day so beautiful and unforgettable. Your artistry truly made our day special, and we are forever grateful.
If you're looking for a florist who can turn your floral dreams into reality, look no further than Foraged Floral Design. Jacque and her team will create something magical that you'll remember for years to come.
I am so grateful to Jacque for creating such amazing floral arrangements for my Feb. 2024 Key West wedding. Maybe one of the biggest sticker shocks when it comes to wedding plannin...
g is florals, but Jacque offered so many reasonable and flexible options and what she ultimately delivered BLEW my mind. I gave her free reign on flower choices, and I was blown away by how gorgeous it all looked. She also provided all the lanterns and candles for my wedding, which gave everything such a lovely glow. Truly one of the vendors I felt delivered huge value to my wedding, I couldn’t have imagined how incredible it would all turn out. The flower quality was incredible – my husband’s boutonniere was still alive and healthy four days later after taking quite the beating! My bridal bouquet was so beautiful from every angle, I kept turning it around in pictures to get both sides. She also repurposed our ceremony florals to create a beautiful display at our reception venue. Jacque has such authentic style and care in what she creates, I can’t recommend her enough. Plus, she’s just a genuinely warm and awesome person!
Wow wow wow! Jacque took my relatively vague, simple ideas for our bouquets, archway, and boutineers and brought them to life in ways I never could have imagined or dreamed of. Sim...
ply stunning floral arrangements, incorporating the specific types of flowers that were important to me with pops of tropical color in cohesive and beautiful arrangements. One of my bridemaids said "I want your florist to come decorate my house!" and I couldn't agree more. Jacque is VERY talented at what she does and I highly recommend Foraged.
***Edited*** First off, I rarely write bad reviews. As a business owner myself, I try to give everyone the opportunity to make things right in the event of a mistake or issue. We...
tried several time to reach out after our wedding, with no response :( I want so badly to be sharing a stellar five star review, as our flowers were absolutely gorgeous!!! All of our guests raved about the flowers! We had a truly great planning experience as well. As this was a destination wedding for us, our accommodations were not at our wedding venue. We had boat transportation back to our resort that night. Our wedding coordinator was aware of this and had told us she'd save everything for us to pick up the next day. When we arrived, we were told that our flowers were picked up by Foraged. We tried calling and emailing throughout the week after our wedding and did not receive a response at all. What bride doesn't want to save her bouquet? Why not ask before disposing of them? I am just heart broken. Not only do I not get my bouquet, but my friend had lent me her great grandmother's ring for "something borrowed", and we had put it in the bouquet. I understand if this was an honest mistake, but the fact that they refuse to respond to us proves otherwise. Why not at least recreate my bouquet and send that to me?
***Jacque has reached out and is replacing my bouquet to make things right. I am very appreciative of this!!!

Jacque was hands down one of my favorite vendors to work with! She's genuinely SO sweet, friendly, and passionate about what she does. She has such incredible style and a wonderful...
eye, so it was incredibly easy to trust that she would execute the wedding flawlessly. She used to be a planner for Blue Water Weddings before more recently opening up her florals business, so she has a very knowledgeable background, which I think helped make the day go without a hitch. Flowers truly set the tone for the wedding and end up in all the photos, so they felt like a high priority for me, but the minute I met Jacque I wasn't worried. We had the most amazing flower planning meeting that was not only incredible for bringing the vision to life, but genuinely SO much fun (champagne, coffee, and snacks that made the process feel SO special). I'm obsessed with how everything turned out! She brought my vision to life and more! She stuck around and moved pieces around/repurpose arrangements like the arch decor and bouquets so that other areas were brought to life. She even took on dance floor decor by installing incredible rattan lanterns and greens, which executed my dream vibe perfectly! While she's fairly newer to wedding florals, she's been around them for years with her planning background, and she is hungry and enthusiastic, and you'll never feel like just another one of hundreds of weddings. I shopped and priced around a lot for florists in the keys and they all came up similarly priced, so she's extremely fair. And trust me, she will go ABOVE AND BEYOND to make everything look gorgeous and make the whole planning process so special and fun.
Jacque was by FAR the best vendor for our wedding. Professional, responsive, and just a really lovely and easy to work with person. My bouquets and arch flowers were perfect. She r...
eally brought my vision to life. 100% go with Jacque, you will not regret it.
Jacque was absolutely amazing to work with for my Key West wedding. I was nervous planning a wedding from afar, but Jacque was attentive and took the time to answer all of my quest...
ions. I asked for bright, tropical flowers, and what I got exceeded my expectations. My flowers were definitely the thing I got the most compliments on from my wedding guests and vendors. Jacque drove all the way to our wedding site to deliver our flowers and set them up, and then waited until my wedding was over to then transport the flowers to our reception. Not only did she just bring and set up our flowers on the tables, but she also brought tea light candles in little glass vases. I loved that little touch, and it was something we didn’t even discuss. It perfectly fit my vision! As a full-time graduate student with student loans, I also want to mention that I appreciated Jacque’s fair pricing. As I am now making the drive back home post wedding, I am desperately looking for somewhere to create some kind of floral preservation art with my beautiful bridal bouquet. That’s how gorgeous these flowers were! Thank you Jacque for going above and beyond for us. You made our day so special and it wouldn’t have been the same without you!
Had a very pleasant experience with Jacque Barnes Flower Co. I needed a last minute birthday delivery and Jacque made it happen. I called everyone I could find in my google search ...
and Jacque was not the only one who answered the phone but went out of her way to make it happen.
I highly recommend her and she will be the only florist on Islamorada I will do business with.
Thanks again Jacque !

wedding! I felt like she really took the time to understand what I was looking for & connected on a personal level. She even made adorable name tags for all my flower crowns so it made it easy to pass out on the day of the wedding. I would highly recommend Jacque for all floral needs! She does a terrific job & makes sure you have exactly what you’re looking for- if not better!!
