Kristen is incredible! She helped us from the beginning! When we first saw this venue, we weren’t sure it was within budget. Kristen helped us figure out how to make it possible an...
d continued to guide us through the 9 month planning. Our wedding day was perfect thanks to her and our other vendors. She made sure everything went smoothly and was well organized. The food is incredible (especially the beef au poivre) & the chef is very aware of allergies and willing to work with that. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful, accommodating venue! Thank you for everything!!
We loved working with Ford Colony Country Club's Director of Private Events Kristin Collins through the wedding day planning process. She was very responsive, flexible and helped u...
s navigate through any issue that stymied our planning. We are extremely grateful and thankful to her and her team to make our wedding venue and wedding forever memorable for us and our guests. Our wedding was a huge success in part due to Ford's execellent team and we are so elated that we chose Ford's Colony Country Club as our wedding venue. The Garden Pavillion is absolutely breathtaking during evening and is a perfect venue for cocktail parties and receptions! Our guests loved the bar setup and seating arrangement on the dock outside the Garden Pavillion. The appetizers that were served prior to our wedding ceremony were loved and appreciated by our guests. Country Club's dining hall was chosen for our wedding ceremony and we couldn't have been happier with the ceremony's venue. Plenty of light in the hall. We highly recommend this venue for any couple who's looking into getting a wedding of their dreams! Staff is very professional, helpful and responsive!
The setting, food, and event coordinator were the best! Having everything done all in house is a major stress relief and everyone is so friendly and helpful.

nt. She gathered us all together and made our day fabulous! She’s organized, efficient, and full of grace! The bridal suite was just gorgeous and fit us all with hair and make up perfectly! The general manager, Peter, was so helpful when my dad needed help with his bow tie the day of!! I cannot recommend Ford’s Colony enough! You can choose any place for your special day, but if you want service, care, and value, you’ll choose Ford’s Colony!
When I was looking for a wedding venue, I wanted to make sure there was a good indoor option for both the ceremony and reception. Ideally, I wanted this to be two different spaces,...
but I wasn't sure I would be able to find it. When I walked into Ford's Colony Country Club, I knew I had found the place! Our ceremony room was beautiful with walls of windows and natural light. Cocktail hour was on the patio outside, and our reception was in the lovely Garden Pavilion. It was absolutely perfect! Ford's Colony provided the chairs and linens, and they also provided all of the food. Our meals were delicious, and I have gotten numerous comments from my guests about how good everything was. We got positive feedback on our appetizers and our signature cocktail as well. Ford's Colony was great to work with, and the venue was perfect! The spaces are lovely, so we did minimal decorations. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an indoor or outdoor wedding venue. They have some lovely outdoor ceremony spots too, but I didn't want to risk anything with the weather. Again, we are so happy that we chose Ford's Colony Country Club as our wedding venue!
Both of our daughter's receptions were held in the garden pavilion room of Ford's Colony Country Club the first reception in 2015 and the second in 2018. Obviously we were so pleas...
ed with the first event that we quickly signed up with them again ! Thank you to Shay Rybin and the entire team for helping our daughter have a beautiful and wonderful day ! Adding to the regular/normal stress of a wedding we had a hurricane heading our way in September 2018....Shay and her team were quick to help us with contingency plans and options that thankfully weren't needed but were still so helpful in making us comfortable as the week unfolded. If you are looking for a reception venue in the Williamsburg area I believe you will be as happy as we were with Ford's Colony !
We can’t say enough good things about Ford’s Colony! From the start, Shay Rybin and Courtney Driscoll were incredible to work with. They go above and beyond for their brides, and h...
ave a solution to every hiccup along the way. These ladies know how to manage groups of people in professional and efficient ways and made my wedding day run so smoothly. The food and wait staff were fabulous, and everyone was so accommodating and helpful. I highly recommend this venue- worth every penny!

t was still perfect and we were able to get some beautiful pictures at multiple locations out on the grounds. Huge plus to have the Marriott's Manor Club right across the round-a-bout for out-of-town guests. Everyone was raving about how beautiful it was and how amazing the food was! And of course, I cannot forget to mention Shay. She was the best coordinator; always answered emails promptly and detailed and gave her own advice for some ideas I had. I could not have had a more perfect day. THANK YOU!!!

ely gorgeous and Shay is the most amazing event coordinator. She ran our rehearsal and communicated with other vendors to make sure everything came off without a hitch. Staff was friendly and helpful every step of the way. I cannot recommend them more strongly to future couples!

ning went well. On the actual day we had a few issues on-site but we were able to resolve them with some very helpful wedding guests and things turned out beautifully. The place itself is very pretty and the food was quite good. The waitstaff were very friendly and nice. Ford's Colony was also very flexible with us, which I appreciated. Overall we had a very good experience and I would recommend it.

as handled great throughout the change. I was looking for a low cost venue with a BBQ menu to serve and Fords Colony was one of the very few places I could find that had this option. We served the BBQ menu and the food was GREAT. We were fairly picky about the beer that was served and they were able to find any type of keg that we were looking for. One staff member was assigned to my husband and I to ensure we had everything we needed throughout the evening, and she was very attentive and helped getting our drinks, food, and anything else throughout the night. Overall everything was great and I would highly recommend.
My reception was held in the Garden Pavilion at Ford's Colony and it was stunning. The coordinator, Lynn Ford, really takes care of all of the details and I felt like it couldn't h...
