At Ford's Colony Country Club, you can host both your wedding ceremony and reception. Your special service can take place on the golfing greens, set against a background of rolling hills and trees. The property is filled with different sites for photo opportunities, which you and your photographer can surely take advantage of. A cocktail reception can be enjoyed after your ceremony, taking place on the back porch where you and your guests can enjoy the surrounding panoramic views. The clubhouse itself is a hotspot for social events in Williamsburg, owing to its spacious facilities and glamorous design. You can experience this for yourself as you host your reception meal in the main ballroom of the house. This space features floor-to-ceiling windows that bathe the room in natural light and peaked drapery above, adding to the romance of the space. You can accommodate banquet dining here, with a quick transition readying the room for an evening of dancing.
Ford's Colony Country Club offers a number of different services as part of their wedding packages. You can enjoy on-site catering and bar services, allowing you to work with the culinary staff to curate a custom menu for your celebration. Event rentals are also available, ranging from tables and chairs to lighting and sound equipment. A full team of service staff will also be on hand to assist you in making your special day a success.

Our wedding was a huge success in part due to Ford's execellent team and we are so elated that we chose Ford's Colony Country Club as our wedding venue. The Garden Pavillion is absolutely breathtaking during evening and is a perfect venue for cocktail parties and receptions! Our guests loved the bar setup and seating arrangement on the dock outside the Garden Pavillion. The appetizers that were served prior to our wedding ceremony were loved and appreciated by our guests. Country Club's dining hall was chosen for our wedding ceremony and we couldn't have been happier with the ceremony's venue. Plenty of light in the hall. We highly recommend this venue for any couple who's looking into getting a wedding of their dreams! Staff is very professional, helpful and responsive!

but I wasn't sure I would be able to find it. When I walked into Ford's Colony Country Club, I knew I had found the place! Our ceremony room was beautiful with walls of windows and natural light. Cocktail hour was on the patio outside, and our reception was in the lovely Garden Pavilion. It was absolutely perfect! Ford's Colony provided the chairs and linens, and they also provided all of the food. Our meals were delicious, and I have gotten numerous comments from my guests about how good everything was. We got positive feedback on our appetizers and our signature cocktail as well. Ford's Colony was great to work with, and the venue was perfect! The spaces are lovely, so we did minimal decorations. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an indoor or outdoor wedding venue. They have some lovely outdoor ceremony spots too, but I didn't want to risk anything with the weather. Again, we are so happy that we chose Ford's Colony Country Club as our wedding venue!

Adding to the regular/normal stress of a wedding we had a hurricane heading our way in September 2018....Shay and her team were quick to help us with contingency plans and options that thankfully weren't needed but were still so helpful in making us comfortable as the week unfolded. If you are looking for a reception venue in the Williamsburg area I believe you will be as happy as we were with Ford's Colony !

The place itself is very pretty and the food was quite good. The waitstaff were very friendly and nice. Ford's Colony was also very flexible with us, which I appreciated. as handled great throughout the change. I was looking for a low cost venue with a BBQ menu to serve and Fords Colony was one of the very few places I could find that had this option. We served the BBQ menu and the food was GREAT. We were fairly picky about the beer that was served and they were able to find any type of keg that we were looking for. One staff member was assigned to my husband and I to ensure we had everything we needed throughout the evening, and she was very attentive and helped getting our drinks, food, and anything else throughout the night. Overall everything was great and I would highly recommend.
