The stunning bridal suite is finished and ready for you and your party! It features four beauty stations, two seating areas, a full-size refrigerator, mirrors, hooks/hanging racks for long dresses, and many outlets. One of our team members who specializes in wedding hair and makeup meticulously designed the space with spouses-to-be in mind. You can now get breakfast spreads, mimosas, and many other food and beverage items brought to you while you relax and get ready with your nearest and dearest.
A new dance floor, staircases, and flooring are set to be put in soon.
Originally built in the 1920s, Forest Hills Country Club is a historic country club venue in Rockford, IL, ideal for hosting weddings and other special events. The expert staff aim to do everything they can to ensure your big day runs smoothly. You can work closely with them to bring your vision for your celebration to life.
The elegant ballroom at Forest Hills Country Club can accommodate many guests and boasts unobstructed views of the carefully manicured grounds. An indoor ceremony site is available. Throughout the evening, you'll have access to the cocktail reception room for extra space. Couples will be able to use the baby grand piano, uplighting, and the in-house audiovisual equipment. You can dance the night away with your family and friends on the spacious fixed dance floor. The expansive property offers many stunning backdrops for photos. Ample parking is available on-site for your convenience and that of your guests.
Forest Hills Country Club only hosts one wedding per day, so you know you'll have the full attention of the professional team. A dedicated banquet manager will oversee your event to ensure every detail is taken care of. Tables, linens, chairs, china, glassware, and flatware can all be provided by the venue. Before the celebration, you and your partner can have a private tasting to craft a menu that suits your tastes. Our venue was more than just a venue. Our wedding coordinator at Forest Hills Country Club was Chris and WOW! She went above and beyond to make our night truly special. She was responsive to every question and need throughout the planning process. She truly showed her dedication on the day of the wedding. She was there for the entire time. I saw her bussing tables, catering to my every need, pouring drinks at the bar, and even tending to my guests needs. The venue was stunning without any decorating, which made the planning so much easier. Not only was Chris absolutely amazing, so was the staff. They were courteous and respectful to all guests and were on top of clearing tables quickly. Even when we changed our ceremony plan last minute to an outdoor setting, Chris and the staff at Forest Hills were on top of it and made it happen. THANK YOU!

This venue is the perfect size and location for a wedding. Both the golf course view and indoor venue is stunning, and the staff was incredible
Lisa was such a joy to work with! I knew I was in good hands the moment my Dad and I came in to view the country club as a potential reception venue. I thought it would be difficult trying to plan our reception in Illinois, being as I moved to Louisiana with my then-fiance a month after we booked FHCC as our venue, but Lisa kept me at ease throughout! Our food tasting was great, and the hardest part was deciding what to choose for our menu! We were able to come in the day before our wedding to set up our decorations, and when I walked into the ballroom I was nearly brought to tears because it was exactly as I had envisioned! Everything ran perfectly the day of our wedding; our food was absolutely delicious, the staff was friendly, and the room looked absolutely spectacular! We heard repeatedly from our guests how fabulous the food and overall venue was! Exceptional venue!
We had our wedding reception at Forest Hills Country Club and worked with Lisa throughout the planning process. Lisa was incredible to work with and provided a wonderful, stress-free experience. She provided significant insight and recommendations for other vendors and décor options. She was extremely flexible and responsive through communication. FHCC was the perfect place for our reception. We were allowed to decorate as we wished, and Lisa gave us access to the space the Friday before our wedding. Because of this flexibility, I did not go to FHCC on the day of our wedding to set up! FHCC did an incredible job preparing and serving food at our reception. The staff was friendly and professional. Our food was absolutely incredible!! We received MANY complements about our food. Our plates were served hot, our filets were cooked perfectly, and everyone was served in a timely manner. I would highly recommend FHCC as a wedding venue!
Working with Lisa Beardsworth was a joy! She was there every step of the way, and I really appreciated the fact that she stayed for the entire reception. She was always around if I needed her!
My reception at Forest Hills Country Club was perfect! From the food to the service everything was of the highest quality. I dropped off my decorations the day before the wedding and they set everything up for me. They also boxed everything up for me to take home the next day. The event coordinator even made sure to save me a plate of crab cakes at cocktail because I had mentioned in one of our meetings that they were my favorite. All of our guests raved about how gorgeous the venue was, how delicious the food was, and how friendly and efficient the servers were. They were easy to work with and delivered an amazing reception! Just a note, our total cost was for 220 people with open bar.
Forest Hills was such a great venue to work with. The staff were accommodating and let us have freedom to do what we wanted. We were even able to do all of our set up for a Saturday wedding on Thursday! The food was AMAZING.
Forest Hills Country Club is beautiful in itself. Add flowers, decorations, food and people and it was absolutely stunning! The staff at FHCC was incredible and the whole night ran smoothly thanks to them. Such a great value!
Forest Hills Country Club is not only one of the most beautiful venues in Rockford, but has one of the most talented and friendly staff around. They were there to help with everything for the wedding and provided excellent service. I would recommend them to anyone who is planning a wedding in the Rockford, Il area. The are absolutely the best!
