I didn’t have to think about what I needed, one of their beautiful faces popped up holding it!! It was like magic!! I felt like I knew each one of them for years. I can’t scream it enough, BOOK!!!

new it was the right choice. From the beginning, Anthony was very helpful. He was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions quickly. The bridal attendant Charlotte was a god-sent! Her personality helped ease any nerves I had about the day. All of our guests could not stop talking about the food (the stir fry station and pretzels at the end of the night were a big hit). The ceremony area was gorgeous, and the grounds are well kept. If you do book your wedding here, keep in mind that this is also a venue that holds company picnics which means there are not a lot of different areas to take pictures. Luckily we hired a photographer that worked at The Forest Lodge many times before and she knew good spots for the bridal photos. All in all, it was a wonderful day and we felt that the staff at The Forest Lodge would have been able to handle anything that came their way!

beyond helpful without being intrusive, and atmosphere was amazing. We are being told by all of our friends and family that ours was the most fun wedding they've ever been to. Our guestts were able to smoke cigars and make smores by the fire pit which was very welcome while the weather was around 40 degrees during our reception. During planning, everything from payment planning to tasting was easy as could be. Anthony even came to help us get our belongings from the venue on his weekend the day after our wedding. The price was very reasonable. I could go on about Forest Lodge for a very, very long time, but just let me say, if you're between a choice of venues go with forest lodge and don't look back.

communication was awesome. Anthony made the whole planning process a breeze, always had the answers to my questions and reassured me when I panicked about the weather! He already had a plan B set and ready for us if it did by chance rain. He takes into account every single detail of your day to make it special. As for the day of the wedding - AMAZING. It is hard to put into words how incredible our day was because of Forest Lodge. Shout out to Anthony, Charlotte, Desi & the rest of the amazing staff for making our day literally more perfect than we could have ever imagined. When I tell you they went ABOVE AND BEYOND what we could have ever pictured our wedding day to be. The staff, service, food, drinks, atmosphere... INCREDIBLE. You can tell this team loves what they do and have it down perfectly on how to make the couple feel so special. I truly cannot thank them or RECOMMEND THEM ENOUGH!!!!

the day of to help things run smoothly. Charlotte was the best wedding attendant. Always making sure I had what I needed and was enjoying myself. We wanted an outdoor wedding bit had trouble finding a venue that wasn't DIY. Forest Lodge checked all the boxes for us. They even put out all my decorations day of and packed them up for us at the end. The food was excellent and our guests had a wonderful time!

He was so responsive and helped us reschedule our wedding in a single evening when we had to change dates just months before the original date. Sean was the same, jumping in during the month leading up to our big day and helping us finalize all of the details that made our day absolutely seamless. Day of, Charlotte was our bridal assistant. She was AMAZING. She was my advocate during pictures, helped the men find all the things they kept misplacing, and kept the drinks coming all night long. Also, it was pouring rain most of the evening and she had a huge smile on her face while getting drenched escorting guests into golf carts, holding umbrellas, and generally making sure that we were all happy. The food at Forest Lodge was amazing, from the tasting to the day itself. Our guests were so impressed by the dishes and presentation. I wish I’d had time to eat more of it! Anthony and Sean worked with us on including everything we wanted within the package we chose. Also, a short note on Sweet Passions, Forest Lodge’s partner for wedding cakes and desserts: the mini cupcake tree was nothing short of a masterpiece! Everything tasted incredible.

ok easy. Throughout the planning, Anthony and his team were there for us when we had questions and made things so easy. They thought of all the things I might not have thought of. When our wedding day finally came, I was calm and I knew we were in great hands! We can’t thank Forest Lodge enough for helping to make our wedding day so perfect! The team at Forest Lodge truly is the perfect balance of warmth and professionalism. Sean was such a calming influence throughout the planning and Daniella and Desiree were also a pleasure to work with. Desiree seriously made me feel like a movie star or something all day long!! Anything I needed, “Girl, I got you.” Today is our one month anniversary and guests are still talking about the food and how delicious everything was. Also, the servers were beyond attentive. If I had it to do over, the only change I would make would be I would ask if I could give personalized “to go” containers as favors because by the time dinner came, most of our guests were too full to eat. And that filet mignon was cooked to perfection!!! Easily ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

They go above and beyond to make sure your day is perfect and they are so organized! Anthony, Sean, and Desiree were a dream to work with and made sure everything went seamlessly! All of the staff was amazing! They made sure we were where we needed to be at all times and always made sure we were fed and hydrated. 5 stars are not enough to describe how great this venue and its staff are! 100% will recommend to anyone and everyone!

t us on the right track and laid out everything we needed to know up front! Sean (the event coordinator) was communicative, attentive and so organized. We never had to worry for one second. The food and cake were incredible, the way everything was scheduled was perfect, and the employees both decorated for us and un-decorated/boxed everything up for us at the end of the night! The bridal attendants, Danielle and Desiree, waited on our hands and feet (especially me!). They followed me everywhere I went in case I needed anything, making sure I was fed and hydrated, not to mention they were so fun to hang out with! We can’t say enough about how perfect the event went. We were so lucky to have found the Forest Lodge on The Knot, because we could not imagine a wedding better than how ours went, all thanks to their team ❤️

Anthony, Sean, and the team at Forest Lodge made my wedding day (and the days leading up) SEAMLESS. They set up all of the decorations perfectly and the Sherwood Chalet room was transformed into my dream wedding all thanks to Anthony and the staff. It rained on our wedding day and Anthony and his team did everything in their power to still make 180 guests comfortable and the day was more beautiful and BETTER than I could have imagined. Even though it rained, I couldn't have had it any more perfect.. because of the hard work the Forest Lodge Team put in to make the day ABSOLUETLY perfect. EVERYTHING from the venue, bar, food and staff was over the top great! Bar tenders.. *chefs kiss* were a big part of the party and every single person came up to us to tell us how amazing and friendly they were! Here we are almost a month later and people are STILL raving about how excellent the food and atmosphere was. Kelly was my bridal attendant and let me tell you... SHE IS GOD SENT. I have never met a more nice, caring, patient and attentive person. She was by my side every minute of the night and took the BEST care of my husband and myself. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOREST LODGE for helping us create and executing a night that no one will ever forget! Our wedding was the best day ever, thanks to Anthony and the Forest Lodge team!!!

My wife used the bridal suite the entire morning and was treated like a queen. Charlotte and Danielle provided her with anything and everything she wanted and things she didn’t even know she needed. When I arrived at the venue I received the exact same treatment. We always had a drink in hand and Charlotte made sure our dresses stayed clean even taking us around in a golf cart. Our guests are still raving about how amazing the food was, how much food we had during cocktail hour, and all the top shelf alcohol provided. Our wedding day was perfect in every possible way and that’s thanks to the staff at forest lodge. We highly recommend this venue to anyone who wants to have the wedding of their dreams!

stion I had no matter how many times I asked it. The grounds and landscaping made for beautiful pictures, the bridal suit was spacious and well stocked with drinks and snack. Sean and Desiree were so kind, helpful, attentive from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. Everything was taken care of for us and I definitely felt like a guest at our wedding. She and the rest of the staff along with Sean and Anthony really were the highlight of our experience, but everything from the food, drinks and grounds themselves were perfect. t all went beyond my expectations. I have to give credit to two wonderful people who guided us all throughout and dispelled all my apprehensions - Daniela and Sean. They went beyond what was required of them and then some. I even had Sean move some outdoor furniture from another location on the property at the very last moment and it was done with a smile. Every time we got to visit the Forest Lodge and meet staff for our initial meeting, tasting, final planning meeting, and decor drop off, we had a fantastic experience which made us so excited for our wedding. During our Decor drop off, Daniella helped us manage all of our decor items, and went above and beyond to help us practice our first dance in the Sherwood Chalet with full audio. We fully recommend the Forest Lodge for your wedding!

Besides that my wedding day was absolutely perfect, the staff was kind and attentive, we got driven around in golf carts, the entire venue is absolutely beautiful, my husband got to play ball on the courts with his groomsmen, we had s’mores at the fire and the bartenders were friendly and fun! Wish I could get married like 6 more times here, highly recommend!!

They definitely went above and beyond. They were on top of their stuff, quick respond time and giving great suggestions, they’re absolute pros! The food was delicious and the drinks were awesome. No one had trouble getting drinks from the bar- they bartenders were fast and nice at the same time! As a bride, I felt so supported the whole wedding. There was someone by my side at every minute making sure I had a drink, reminding me when it was time to move on to the next part of the event, etc. When it was time to walk down the aisle, there were three people there with ear pieces communicating with the rest of the staff, arranging my dress train, and someone even offered to get me a shot of tequila because I was nervous. At the end of the night, my husband and I realized that someone had decorated our Jeep and I was so excited and wanted to show our guests, but I realized they had all left. I went there and was little skeptical how this venue will turn out because it seemed like perfect for company events/outings but.. I honestly underestimated this place. We wanted wedding that is not performance oriented but more interaction oriented with our guests. Forest Lodge made our dream come true. They had game stations, s'mores, play grounds, basketball courts... you name it, they will have it. I don't write reviews on social media but this one got to me to this point. Anthony is to the point and very professional. Sean is super kind, detail-oriented, professional, and knows what needs to be done. Kathy brings warm vibe and you can TRUST these people for your most special day. My husband and I got married at maple grove site (outdoor ceremony and reception) and it was so elegant and beautiful we had such a wonderful time of life here with all professionals who went above and beyond. I can rave about this venue all day. So many of my friends said they want to have a wedding here. Hands down, if you are looking for a venue, go for it. Make an appt.

My daughter had a smile from ear to ear all day and all night. Kathy is so on point, never missed a beat and kept everything on time. Her calm demeanor when ever discussing what was going to happen and assurance everything will go smooth was amazing. Every request by My Daughter and Son in Law had was met. Brunelly was such an important part of the day to me! As the father of the bride (my first child to be wed) and super softy, she knew exactly how to treat me at the right times. Assurances, silly jokes or just a simple smile to ease my anxiety. Throughout the night she made sure I had a full dish, drink in hand and an extra treat at dessert. She saw my nerves and knew exactly how to preoccupy me at the right time. The venue was well kept, decorated beautifully and organized perfectly! They made sure we had a plate of every food item from the cocktail hour and made sure we took some time to eat it together while guests were enjoying outside. They even packed up some to go boxes of our favorite dishes and extra entrees. Our drink glasses were never empty because they constantly got refills for me, my groom, and my parents too. It was like magic because I never once saw this occur, every time I was close to the last few sips, I would turn around and there’d be another one at my table! Kathy, Madison, Brunelly, Francia, we cannot thank you enough. You each helped make our special day even more than we dreamed it could be. I just want to add in that my husband and I were working with a tight budget. We did not have a wedding planner or a day of coordinator, and all of the florals and decor were DIY. Anthony was so accommodating and showed us their multiple meal packages and let us customize the perfect experience that was in our budget. He arranged the timeline, floor plan, and everything in between. Kathy made sure everything and everyone was where they needed to be the day of, not a single detail was missed. I am endlessly thankful for their dedication and professionalism. TLDR I cannot say enough good things about Forest Lodge and the amazing team of people they have. I promise you this will be the easiest and best decision you’ll make in your wedding planning process!!
