rried on 08.21.21 outside in the mountains where our love took shape. When our original photographers cancelled a few months prior due to the pandemic, our wedding planner connected us with Forrest Picture Company. They came to our rescue just in time and they made us feel as if we were a part of their crew. They surprised us with an engagement gift that we ended up using all the time; a candle in the shape of a mountain. We had SO much fun shooting our wedding photos at the rehearsal dinner and on the wedding day. It didn’t hurt that they buttered us up with our favorite cocktails (an old fashioned for him and Manhattan for me) before our sunset photos. We had a blast to traipsing around in the woods with my dress collecting bugs and sticks. Such a classic adventure for both of us. Amanda and Zac were super easy to work with and we loved all of their photos and the wedding weekend video. We’ve recommended them to all of our best friends getting married in CO. And one of their photos even made it’s way to the cover of a Steamboat Wedding Magazine! We have continued to stay in touch and I hope to work with them to capture all of our major life events in the future.

We hit it off with Amanda and Zac from our first Zoom meeting and had an absolute blast with them on our engagement shoot in Rocky Mountain National Park. We knew that they would be a dream to work with during our wedding. Not only are they wonderful humans, but they are extremely talented and truly captured us and the moment. We wanted to look back at the pictures and videos of our wedding and see ourselves and the people we love in their truest and most pure form, and that is exactly what Amanda and Zac delivered. They stand out among wedding photographers in being able to capture the emotion and memories that we will cherish for lifetimes to come. Amanda and Zac are also extremely chill and professional. Our wedding was a perfect hot mess thanks to unprecedented and unrelenting rain the entire day of our wedding, but Amanda and Zac adapted with ease and helped us to relax and enjoy the chaos. They also got some jaw-dropping shots of double rainbows and rain-kissed canyons to top it off. We are so happy that we hired Forest Picture Co. and had so much fun with Amanda and Zac!

a felt like the perfect fit! After the initial meeting we knew right away that it was an easy decision! Amanda first took photos with us during our engagement photos and trekked up with us to Rocky Mountain national park! She made the whole experience fun and exciting! For the wedding she made sure we were in good hands and helped us plan everything from where the first look would be to how we would fit all of our family into the photos without taking too much time away from the wedding. She made everything a breeze and made both my wife and I feel great and stress free about the whole process! Her photos all turned out amazing and was beyond what we expected! do and the natural beauty of the yellow aspens in the Fall made this a no brainer. It also made picking the photographer to capture the day for us even more important. I checked out what felt like hundreds on The Knot and reached out to multiple to see if they were available. To be honest, Forest Picture Company definitely felt like our kind of people (go with the flow, outdoorsy, have a drink with us kind of people) from the first time I looked at their site, but the value for what they offered almost seemed too good to be true compared to other photographers in the area. We setup a video call with Amanda and very quickly decided to book. Her down to earth, fun demeanor was exactly what we were looking for and her photos spoke for themselves. Leading up to our wedding, we kept in contact and she made sure she knew exactly what we wanted. She was always very responsive and happy to offer advice on more than just the photography. I had personally never been to Aspen, so the day of our wedding was the first time we even met Amanda (much less saw our venue). She met my husband and the guys at the condo first and somehow convinced my picture hating husband to take a ton of photos that I will cherish forever! Throughout the entire afternoon and evening she not only captured all the memories, she helped to ensure the ceremony and reception kept moving and went according to plan. She fit in perfectly with our guests and if she didn’t have the camera, would have easily been considered a friend. We received our sneak peaks in less than a week and then our massive full album within a couple months and we were blown away. Of course the pictures of my husband and I and all the family pictures are amazing, but the candids she took of our guests at the ceremony and reception are probably my favorite. The day flies by so fast, it’s impossible to appreciate every moment but now I have the reminders forever. We also took sunset pictures with just my husband and I and it was so nice to be able to pause for a minute with just us and the pictures are phenomenal. Amanda was so wonderful and I would recommend getting on her schedule immediately. :)

and and I both feel awkward in front of cameras yet Amanda made us feel so comfortable and made our authentic selves come through in our pictures. Amanda is an excellent communicator and a well-oiled machine when it comes to doing what needs to happen and when. I looked for organizational skills in all of my vendors and this one was most definitely the right decision. We felt extreeeeeeemely comfortable with the schedule of our wedding day being in the hands of Amanda and our venue's day-of coordinator, and I cannot emphasize that enough. Our wedding was seamless and Amanda got everything that we wanted! Additionally, FPC was incredibly understanding and flexible with sticky family situations, an added bonus!! Moral of the story is that FPC was incredible to work with and we are so happy we chose them to do our photography!!!!

and making sure our comfort levels were met for us and our guests with the covid restrictions. I’m so happy that I found Amanda through Instagram for our special day. I love every single one of our pictures and we’ve gotten so many compliments on them. It’s truly amazing to have someone capture every detail of your big day, so you can relive it over and over again. I loved working with Amanda so much, that I continue to use her for taking pictures of my jewelry for my business. I could keep going, but the bottom line is you should use Forest Picture Co. for your wedding!

we were a little nervous/awkward to have someone taking pictures of our love for our big day. However Amanda and Zac worked so hard to make us feel comfortable prior to the big day by scheduling several skype calls and meeting for the engagement photos. . On our wedding day Amanda captured everything, and once we received our final wedding folder we realized she got so much more than we could of ever dreamt of. Don't second guess Forest Picture Co they are amazing people, they will capture ALL the special moments, and they will make you feel like family by the end of it!

a camera. At the engagement shoot we braved some fierce weather and she was our personal Sherpa lugging all our belonging for some amazingly beautiful shots! At the wedding she and the second photographer she brought with, as her husband was not available, had the perfect energy capturing every single special moment. This made it possible for us to relive the day and appreciate the details because for both my husband and I our wedding day was quite a blur! They danced their fannies off on the dance floor while snapping photos mid dance move. I had so many people comment on how fun and awesome they were and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for their most special moments to be captured in the most perfect way!

They took the time to get to know us, our families, and our wedding party. Amanda also helped create a schedule for the day of our wedding to make sure there was plenty of time to get our photos done, as well as enjoy the day with as little stress as possible. The photos we received we phenomenal! They captured every aspect of our day from getting ready with our friends, throughout our ceremony, and celebrating during our reception.
