Forest Suites Resort

Everything was taken care of and exactly as was described. This was a destination wedding in South Lake Tahoe and working with the staff at Forest Suites was very easy through the entire process. They were able to handle everything from reserving the beach site we wanted to offering us a package that included a beautiful bridal suite for two nights. I also loved that they had a very lovely chapel at the hotel site as a back up for us in case of bad weather. Perfect for a small wedding. I would definitely recommend Forest Suites!

I had actually went with another venue, but 4 months before the wedding I found out the original venue lost their contract, and so they were trying to move me somewhere else it was all a little sketchy. I had decided to go with this resort since we had already reserved this place for lodging. Not knowing really what this place was going to look like I took my chances, but was so happy that I did. First of the Event Coordinator is wonderful on top of things, and just a real gem. She shows that she loves what she does, and I honestly had no worries with anything she was on top of it all. Alesha Melendez Newman is really wonderful, and she is who you want to work with. She made my vision come true from the decorations, to the cake, the ceremony everything and I was blessed to have lost the first venue, and come to her. Thank you was not enough, and I hope that this review makes it count. My husband and I had a small quaint wedding of almost 40 people and this place worked well for that many people. We got married on the beach at South Lake tahoe, and Loved it. The place was reserved for us, and so the public could not stand and watch us get married which was wonderful. If you are looking for something small and quaint this is the place.
