I had Forever Flowers create two shadowboxes: the bridal bouquet and the maid of honor bouquet. Because there was no mail service due to the holidays for several days, the flowers...
started to wilt. Forever Flowers did a fantastic job with the flowers and created two beautiful shadowboxes. The craftsmanship was perfect, the materials used were quality, the arrangement of both boxes was just as I communicated and they arrived in beautiful condition. Judy was friendly and easy to talk to. The price was worth the creations received. I would highly recommend Forever Flowers.
Stay away. The bouquet they sent me looks NOTHING like my actual bouquet. This is the email I sent them:
First, let me say, this is my second wedding and I had my first bouquet pr...
eserved by competitor, FreezeFrame, in Dayton, Ohio. They did a fantastic job in 2009, but I couldn't ship to them this time.
On Feb 2, you sent me an email saying you were starting the design process (which is nearly 6 months after the wedding!). I understand the freeze drying process takes a while, so that didn't concern me at first. You indicated in your email that the stephanotis flowers were dead when the bouquet arrived and asked if I'd like to replace them, to which I said yes. You did NOT say in that email that there were any issues with the hydrangeas - THE MAIN PART OF THE BOUQUET AND FOCUS FLOWER! - or that you wanted to change the ribbon on the stems - or that the vintage blush roses - which barely have color - turned into DARK PURPLE!! (You can see many vintage blush roses online that didn't dry into an entirely different color)
I know dried/freeze dried flowers will have some color changes - but again, I've had this done before and it still looked like my bouquet and the color changes were very minor. You made my bouquet look like dingy old flowers.
YOUR OWN WEBSITE examples show white flowers that are STILL WHITE and don't look half-dead like mine do. YOUR OWN WEBSITE examples show hydrangeas preserved beautifully - still white and perky and everything!!
Now, beyond the issue with all the flowers not looking vibrant anymore - there are ZERO hydrangeas. ZERO!! How can that be!? They were in the arrangement you got! Carnations are in their "place". How horrible!!!
not even close to the same ballpark of a flower. I did contact my florist and while there were maybe two carnations in the bottom of the bouquet as filler, they were in no way a focal point. I've attached several photos of my bouquet - and you can clearly see HYDRANGEAS everywhere - that are all now missing from "my" bouquet that you created. The vintage blush roses, while you can see there's a bit of color there, were barely noticeable and now that's the first thing you see! These random super dark roses just pop out immediately. 100% NOT like my bouquet. Of all the flowers in my whole bouquet there were only 3. Those three now look like they were a main part of the bouquet because they are too dark and the proportions are off because you left out so many other flowers. Yes, you can't use all of them - but the proportions and idea and feel of the bouquet should be maintained.
You also took off the ribbon I had on the bouquet. It looks like some is maybe still there under the gold ribbon on top - but you made the stem striped. While it looks nice with the frame, IT'S NOT HOW MY BOUQUET WAS!!!!! That "ribbon" was my deceased mother's wedding dress fabric. It was used and NOT covered up on purpose. Things are done for a reason and you do not have the right to change them without asking for customer approval.
Some of this could have been avoided if you would have sent a "proof" picture for approval - but you didn't do that.
I think even you would admit that based on how it turned out, you would not use what you created as an example on your website. Your examples look like every finished product SHOULD look. Vibrant. Healthy - just frozen in time. and that's exactly how my previous one looked. So, again, it's not that you can't do it. You just didn't.
So very disappointed.
This was a huge disappointment and wish I could get a refund but the company stands by their work. Blamed wear and tear on flowers on potentially the wedding but these were in a qu...
ick civil ceremony and fedexed overnight. If they were in poor shape I feel I should have been notified and offered an option to have certain flowers replaced. Very expensive for this type off work. Not happy at all. It also took over four months. The bride took one look and asked if I could get my money back. They offered to replace flowers at my cost with me paying for shipping both ways. Nice.
I am using forever flowers for my bouquet preservation. They were recommended to me by a friend and my florist. I haven't received the finished product yet, but have no doubt that ...
it'll look beautiful. They were able to work in my budget and even picked my bouquet up from my reception. Great service!
