I love being a photographer, I really do. It’s not for the reason you might think, though. I love being a photographer because it brings me right up close to the most beautiful moments life has to offer. The old adage that a picture is worth a thousand words is absolutely true. It is astonishing to me how one image can tell a story so clearly, drenched in emotion and colored by memories. The moments matter most. The photographs are really secondary. They’re a way to physically hold onto that moment a little longer. Photographs are little time machines. They transport you back to the overwhelming love you felt while tearfully exchanging your vows. You can smell the pine trees, hear the wind whip around the mountain tops, and feel the gentle tapping of rain drops on your cheeks again. You’re there.
I would be honored to help you hold onto all those important moments. For me, documenting a wedding or an elopement is all about making sure my couples have time. Time to be present and center themselves around what matters most that day: each other. Time to love on their family members. Time to enjoy the awesome food they so carefully chose! In making your experience a priority, it opens up so much time to enjoy your day. The more carefree you can be, the better your photographs will be.
If I were to summarize my business philosophy in one neat little statement, it would be this: seeking and documenting all of the moments that make your wedding day unique through storytelling, placing your experience above all else, and dedication to creating a space which allows you to be present with your spouse on your wedding day.

ement she was happy to accommodate and enthusiastic to help. She remained very flexible with changing plans and deciding on our new elopement plan. Our first time meeting was on that hike and it was like we were old friends. She is such a kind soul who made us feel comfortable while photographing, never having us pose unless we wanted to and just let us be natural. She also let us include our own ideas into our photos. Besides the fact that Brittany is amazing, her photos of our day absolutely blew us away! She captured the day so perfectly! If you want a photographer that is just as incredible as their photos, you cannot go wrong choosing Brittany!

ng, she showed up on time, & again was such a calming energy to have around! She appreciates all the sentimental details & special moments. She kept things on schedule without making anyone feel rushed. She brought along an amazing second shooter named Jed who matched her calm yet enthusiastic energy. If either of the photographers had any issues that day, none of us ever heard about it, they were prepared or didn’t project, and either way, that’s huge at an event. I don’t think I could choose a favorite thing about getting to work with Brittany, but one of the things that stood out to me was receiving a sneak peak of the photos at 2 am the night of the wedding! Brittany loves to capture these moments, & she also knows how excited her clients are to see their photos, & sending such a quick preview shows her passion & how customer service oriented she is. All that aside, her photos are absolutely stunning! I’m so so happy we hired her as our photographer.

above and beyond, recommending vendors, finding a last-minute replacement for our bridesmaids’ hair and makeup artist when our original one fell through, helping us to plan our timeline, and she even sent us a beautiful gift basket with tea and chocolate (so we could relax from wedding planning) and a lovely set of moleskines for our vows.
On the wedding day she and her assistant scouted the property and found some really amazing backdrops for our photos and did her best to keep us both calm, collected, and gently moving along our schedule. It’s no small feat to keep the bride and groom grounded when they’ve been trying to orchestrate such an immensely important event for months and months.

he did a great job of photographing everything while also staying low so you didn’t realize there was a photographer there. Then when we did our private couple photos she gave us great direction (I am by no means a model so this was highly appreciated) and got some great nature shots just like I had wanted. Afterwards she kept us updated on when the photos would be available and stuck to the timeline she laid out.
