Duane Michael began his career as a professional musician in 2005, playing as a session drummer, guitarist and singer both live and in the studio for numerous bands. In 2009, a good friend (DJ Brian B) offered to personally train him in the art of being a DJ. Since that time, Duane has performed at hundreds of weddings, private parties, and corporate events including fashion shows, celebrity events, and charities nationally. Through all of his experiences, his main love has always been providing high quality service and entertainment for his clients-turned-friends.

Duane at Forever-Ever Entertainment was absolutely incredible! From start to finish, he was professional, responsive, and an absolute joy to work with. He made the whole process seamless by giving us access to an easy-to-use app where we could upload our must-play songs and note any we didn’t want—such a thoughtful and convenient feature!

Duane was the best DJ for my wedding night!! I highly recommend him to anyone wanting a good time on the dance floor. All guests afterwards commented about how there was no dead time during dancing hours and how they loved the way he mixed songs!!!
Aside from his great skills, Duane was such an easy person to work with! He took care of everything and relieved some of the wedding day stress from me which was much appreciated.
Overall, I would use Duane again and recommend him to anyone wanting a good time!

I would highly recommend Duane at Forever-ever Entertainment! Duane was so wonderful to work with from beginning to end. He was detailed in his planning and the process was so seamless and stress-free! Duane kept the energy so high through music and I loved that he knew when to match the energy in the room. The dance floor at our wedding was NEVER empty. It was so special to look around the room at each of our guests with their sweaty, smiling faces singing and dancing to almost every song. If we could give Duane 10 stars, we would! He was not only the best DJ we've ever worked with, but the best DJ we've personally seen at any major event/function. He really emphasized allowing our personalities to shine through the music. The entire process, from music selection, check-in calls, and final details were not only smooth, but comfortable. He was able to make fantastic recommendations to help create the type of atmosphere we had been envisioning for over a year! His DJ equipment looked great and his uplighting was beautiful. Our dancefloor was crammed from the moment it opened until the moment it closed. If we ever have another event that requires a DJ, Duane will be our #1 choice. We made multiple phone calls to DJs in the Destin/Fort Walton area and we knew as soon as we talked to Duane he was going to be our guy. Planning a destination wedding can be a challenge and from our first phone call Duane made us feel confident he would make our day special. Duane worked through every aspect of our wedding day with us to ensure that it would be exactly what we wanted. Duane worked well with the venue to coordinate all aspects day of and most importantly he kept our guests on the dance floor all night long! If we could give 10 stars we would!!! Duane was awesome! He did my daughter’s wedding last weekend at the Island Resort and it was fabulous! He is super nice and very professional, knows exactly when to play what kind of music, and it was seamless. One of the best things was we didn’t have to give him a whole playlist-just shared what she liked and he did the rest. He knew exactly how to get everybody on the dance floor, he worked so well with the photographer and the wedding planner and just knew how to make it so fun! Everything he said he would do, he did with care and thoughtfulness, he was so easy to plan with beforehand, and I just can’t say enough good things about him! You won’t be disappointed!

Duane was INCREDIBLE. He knew exactly what the vibe should be. He was so kind, thoughtful, & intentional throughout the whole process - as I first met with him, decided on songs, worked through the whole process. And I knew so little about what I wanted - he made it so easy to narrow it down to fit the wedding that we (bride & groom) wanted & a way to incorporate our own style.
I have been to weddings where the DJ's haven't been super reliable so I was already nervous... Duane squashed any fear or concerns I had. The music, the timing, the flexibility. Would 1000% recommend him to anyone getting married. It was such a lovely, easy experience to work with Duane.

Duane was amazing during the time we worked with him! He structures his meetings in a way where you take things step by step and he walks you along the way! He was a huge help when we had no clue what music to select and continued to take the time to check in on us during planning. DJ Duane!!! What a sweetheart Duane is on top of being a great dj. Unlike other vendors I talked to, Duane immediately greeted me through email to set up a phone consult. He was easy to communicate with, answered all my questions (even ones I didn’t know I had! Seriously, he could be a wedding planner with how savvy he is.), was flexible with all my changes, and had a kind, friendly demeanor every time! He uses an app to keep everything organized and always checked in to see if I needed anything. He treated us like a couple about to get married and not like a number or customer. I can’t express how much that meant to us that he wanted to make our day as special as possible. He took my vision and made it a reality. He has a great relationship with a lot of other vendors and was so easy to work with. Our wedding day was great, and I know a lot had to do with Duane keeping the music rocking all night long. He expertly managed our venue which was part indoor and outdoor with a spacious layout. You are in great hands with Forever Ever Entertainment because Duane knows his stuff and keeps a smile the whole time!

Duane DJ'd our wedding at 5Eleven and he was PHENOMENAL! After researching many DJs and having phone calls with them, Duane stuck out to us. He was one of the first vendors we booked and were thrilled to have him. His prices were more than reasonable and he was willing to work within our budget. Unfortunately, our venue had fallen through after securing our date and location with Duane. When we inevitably had to find a new venue AND new date, Duane was supportive and communicative in this process to help us find a new venue. We knew we wanted to keep Duane so ensuring we picked a date that he was still available on was super important to us! Duane is so personable and truly was willing to go the extra mile to be MORE than JUST a DJ - he gave us recommendations on other vendors, helped us work out details of our timeline, and even gave his professional advice on how to handle a situation that came up with another vendor we had. His experience in this industry proved to be invaluable during our wedding planning process. Not to mention that most of our other vendors were delighted to hear that Duane was our DJ and they looked forward to getting to work another wedding with him. My husband and I always knew we wanted a DJ for our wedding since we have such a wide-variety of music taste. Duane came highly recommended by our venue and vendors. He was extremely professional and caring. I loved the app he uses to organize the music choices for every single moment of the ceremony and reception--it was very user friendly. Duane was able to take our music tastes based on songs we chose, and curate the most perfect playlist for our reception. The dance floor was never empty! We had a dream come true event with Duane! He helped get our dance floor going at our NYE wedding and kept it active through the end of the night. We had a blast and got tons of compliments from guests about the music mix & DJ 🥳
The contracting, payment and planning process was a breeze and he kept the energy buzzy and bright even though holiday weddings can be a little more stressful.
At the end of the process, he sent us an extremely thoughtful follow up note and overall was a pleasure to work with!
Especially if you’re a procrastinator like me, make sure you at least take the time to really fill out his planning tools - they definitely make the whole thing easier & worry free! 😉

I unequivocally recommend Duane for any event you have coming up! He DJ’d at my wedding and added SO MUCH VALUE to the event! First of all, he is extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and shows up very prepared. We had a couple things with our venue that were a little different than we anticipated with regards to Duane’s setup/the technology, and he was so sweet in helping us solve these problems. One thing a couple people said to me was they tried to request a song that Duane (from previous conversations with us) knew we may not love and Duane told them that he really was just trying to stick to the bride/grooms preferences and work within that, which I think is the telltale sign of an incredible DJ at an event where so many are drinking/requesting songs. Last but not least, he is an extremely kind man that truly truly cares about providing excellent service and making it a wonderful experience.
My wedding was an absolute dream day with an outstanding dance floor vibe and fun moments, and Duane is a huge huge reason for that. Working with him for your event is an absolute no-brainer - it will be a great choice!!

Going into our wedding planning, we felt the DJ/Music was the cornerstone to the entire event. Duane Michael, with Forever-Ever Entertainment, exceeded all of our expectations. I cannot say enough good things about Duane! My husband and I used Forever Ever Entertainment for our wedding, and from the very first phone consultation, Duane was friendly, polite, and reliable. Duane was an incredible DJ. During the planning, he helped me fill out all my song choices on an app that was super helpful to organize evreything. He spoke with me on the phone prior to the wedding and helped me talk through my worst fears (songs that feel like they go on for waaaaayyyy too long and awkward sound effects) and he definitely gave me peace of mind that he knew what I wanted. On the big day he was great, set up early and the dancefloor was PACKED and I was SWEATING. Give him the benefit of the doubt. Our crowd doesn’t like the “normal” “popular” wedding dance songs- so his songs choices were great for that but we didn’t understand why he didn’t play the full playlist we gave him.
There was a delay/scene caused by a drunk wedding guest and he got the party right back on track after said person was sent home and did everything perfectly & saved the rest of the reception. So people getting a lot of different families together, Duane is your guy!! His calmness & expertise is what you want.
For that we will forever be grateful

I just recommend if you definitely want your exact playlist to be the songs you picked out (I’m not talking about the scheduled songs for ceremony or dances because he killed that!) just tell him that straight up because he is extremely caring and awesome Overall. Duane was absolutely amazing! He traveled to our wedding and set up beautiful up lighting and created a projected monogram for us. Every step of the way with Duane was easy, and he made sure our day moved along like we wanted it to. Duane was recommended by our wedding coordinator & photographer and we are so glad we found him. From the first phone call I could tell that Duane has great taste in music & also really wanted to get to know what type of music we enjoy so that the music played during our wedding was true to us. Duane provided us with a music planning app where we were able to put song requests & build playlists for the special moments of our day, I loved this app, it made planning out all of the songs so easy & being the indecisive person that I am, I was able to easily change songs/playlists through the app. A few months before our wedding I logged on to the music planning app and none of the music we had spent so much time choosing was there, of course I started to panic but Duane responded to my message quickly and was able to resolve the issue easily.
We chose to play instrumental during our prelude/ceremony & paid extra for Duane to set up his sound equipment in the courtyard of our venue which was absolutely worth it! A number of our guests mentioned that the music was so beautiful and they were trying to figure out where the live musicians were. During the reception Duane was top notch! He worked with us as our timeline changed around a bit /we decided not to grand entrances and best of all he got the party started on the dance floor and kept it going all night long! Duane was able to mix popular dance songs with the less popular songs that my husband and I enjoy in a way that made sense and kept people on the dance floor all night long.

Duane was absolutely amazing as our DJ! He eased the mind of a stressing bride because I thought I was way behind on picking out the songs we needed for the wedding. The day of the wedding he was great! He worked well with our officiant, and musician who played live music during the ceremony and was able to truly keep all of our guests engaged and dancing throughout our cocktail hour and reception. He truly served us well at our wedding. He has a great heart and great customer service. I will hands down recommend him to anyone needing a DJ and if I ever need a DJ in the future he would be one I’d want to DJ for me again!

Since we planned our wedding thousands of miles away from our destination, we did not meet Duane until an hour before our celebration began. Duane did an incredible job with our wedding, he was responsive, professional, and most of all patient with us. He took the time to talk through music selections because we didn't really know what we wanted. Duane mixed the tunes selections perfectly from the "elevator" music through dinner to the bangers later in the night. Having a COVID wedding, we asked to keep it calm until some of our guests had departed and pick it up for the end of the reception and he did it perfectly. On top of all the great job he did with the music, he also took some fantastic pictures of the ceremony. I would recommend Duane to anybody needing a DJ all day every day.

I can't say enough good things about Duane. He actually became a friend through the process of planning our wedding and I'm so grateful for everything he did. It was beyond challenging planning a wedding in 2020 during a pandemic, but Duane made things so much easier and less-stressful. I honestly had no clue what I was doing, and I didn't hire a planner, so I relied heavily on him and he never hesitated to answer my annoying questions or explain things to me. He was very communicative along the way and was AMAZING the day of our wedding! He coordinated things for us that day and even told me how to cut my cake. :) He was extremely professional and had excellent equipment, and was VERY good at reading the crowd and keeping everyone entertained. We will definitely use Forever-Ever for any future events that we may have. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Forever-Ever!!!!

Duane was absolutely amazing! Our wedding reception was so much fun. He let me choose music, took requests and kept the energy up on the dance floor all night! We are so thankful.
