Carmen is the life of any party. She is so personable and hilarious which truly makes taking photos so enjoyable and easy! I know she worked tirelessly to get us our full gallery back as quick as possible. Any wait time we had was absolutely worth it given the overwhelming amount of amazing photos she (and her equally amaze second shooter) captured of our big day. I cannot say enough good things about Carmen!!!! We hired her about 2 months in advance for our backyard wedding and she absolutely went above and beyond her role. She literally was helping carry food out at one point. She made us feel so relaxed, which was super important to us! We got married in August during COVID with mask restrictions, but she still captured our photos with elegance and grace. Listen, I am not great at wedding planning but the first vendor we secured was Carmen and she was the best choice we made for the wedding! She is AMAZING! Carmen was professional, flexible and patient with our crazy bridal party, and most importantly the pictures turned out beautifully!! I usually hate pictures of myself, but she did such a great job of making them all look great! Couldn’t be happier!

The advice we had gotten from previous couples who had gotten married was find a good photographer. We met with Carmen and loved her personality as well as her style. We booked her and have absolutely loved working with her. She not only does a great job capturing who you are but she also is very artistic with lighting and other concepts. We loved how our photos turned out. She also made being the center of all the pictures very easy and fun!

So, Carmen and her second shooter were our photographers by fate. My husband and I actually booked with another Columbus photography company (we are in the Akron area). However, I received an email a day or two before our wedding that due to some confusing reasons, our photographers were unable to shoot our wedding. Umm… YIKES! They promised that they would send a team that was of equal quality, and I was FREAKED. Photography was one of the MOST important vendors and we spent a lot of time finding ours. Carmen showed up with her second shooter, as she was the one contracted by the other photography company and in a way I am so HAPPY that it happened this way because I can’t imagine connecting with the other team like we did with her. She was FLAWLESS. She worked around some wedding-day craziness, and kept my family and our timeline in CHECK. There were several variables that rocked us off of our timeline before the ceremony, but Carmen was so reassuring and also so personable, even though we were just meeting for the first time. I can’t say enough about how bad*** she is. She moved our family pictures along swiftly, and her style of telling people things to do/say to get candid yet posed-ish photos was nothing short of spectacular and SO MUCH FUN. She made us feel so comfortable, she made me and my girls laugh hysterically, AND, she managed to sneak my husband and I away to a roller-skating rink that was right next to our venue and got some STUNNING pictures of us in the middle of the rink with colorful disco lights lighting up our love and happiness. I can’t thank her enough for capturing the emotions of our day so beautifully (and I’ve only seen the previews). I can’t wait to see the rest. Thank you Carmen, we LOVED you, and so did our families. Everybody had nothing but positive things to say about you and how much you rocked it. Much love!!

Carmen was great! Very thorough and knew every pose and the perfect way to capture the moment. She even found a nearby rollerskating rink, spoke to the owner, and arranged a quick after shoot for the bride and groom. Wonderful personality, I definately recommend her services.

Carmen was nothing short of amazing. Never once during the ceremony did I even realize she was taking pictures. Carmen was energetic and fun to be around the entire day. Now that I have my wedding photos back, which didn't take long AT ALL, I can't say there was a single picture I wish she would have taken because she took pictures of everything, she left no detail, person or event behind. We were a large obnoxious group to handle and Carmen didn't act phased at all. Second, There needs to be a infinite amount of stars when talking about Carmen. This wedding was special because my brother was getting married to my bestest friend in the entire world. We first worked with her for our engagement session and immediately knew we had to have her photograph our wedding as well. Carmen is the best! She makes something that could be really awkward (kissing your fiancé while someone you just met takes your picture over and over) feel so natural and comfortable, which is such a wonderful skill. All I can say is WOW. I do not even know where to begin. If you are reading this and are still undecided about a photographer- save yourself some time searching and BOOK CARMEN NOW!! Anyways....Besides actually getting married to the love of my life while being surrounded by everyone I love the most, I knew photography was going to be one of the most important things about our wedding day. This will be the way our day is captured. This is how our kids and grandkids, etc. will be able to see our day. This is how we will remember/relive every detail and emotion in 50 years. I wanted to find the perfect photographer. I browsed 20 or more photography sites, met with 4 photographers in person, and talked with many others at bridal expos. There are so many photographers, very talented ones, how would I ever choose? Eventually, I stumbled upon Carmen's website and sent her a message. She got back to be quickly and seemed very willing to customize a package if I needed, and she just seemed...easy to communicate with. Not to mention I looked through her photos and was stunned by all of them. She had the style I was looking for (but to be honest, I have 'creeped' on so many of her photos that I have noticed that she seems to be able to capture VERY diverse styles.) I was very excited and decided to go find her booth at a bridal expo to meet her in person very briefly, as well as to set up a day to meet! I went to Carmen's adorable studio in Grove City and we chatted for quite some time. I loved how when we talked she kind of organized the discussion like a timeline of the wedding day, making sure she knew EXACTLY how the day would go and what important things she needed to capture. We hit it off and after the meeting I knew she was who I wanted to photograph our wedding. We quickly scheduled engagement photos and we were a little nervous (this was our first photoshoot since senior photos!). She was so open to going wherever we wanted and was very spontaneous- which made the photos so much fun! From "blue steel" to grocery cart photos, we had a blast and the photos were incredible! Craig and I got married on August 6th, 2016. Carmen and her second shooter were on time and ready to go. They did not miss a single detail. She has a way of making photos look natural even if they are posed, by telling you to do things rather than telling you how to pose. She captured facial expressions that will always help me remember exactly how we felt that day. I get teary looking at some of them. She captured hilarious dancing photos. She snuck us away to take romantic photos by the lit up tree...we were not expecting that and they turned out incredible. We even got our dream sparkler photo. Our family, friends, and co-workers were all stunned by the photos. I can not tell you how many people raved about them. My mom said her friends all said they were some of the best photos they have ever seen. I am not exaggerating! I tried to "narrow down" our photos for facebook and I still posted over 600!! Carmen, we can't thank you enough for capturing our day and preserving our memories so perfectly. So much thought and planning and love and tears and energy go into planning a wedding, it is so nice to know that every detail will be remembered.

Most awesome photographer! As a newly engaged lady with six months to plan a wedding, I was on a mission to find the perfect photographer that would spare me an arm and a leg :) I happened to be at a bridal show in Columbus and was awed by Carmen's set up and how she presented her photography. Her photos, personality, and fun presentation were just what I had pictured and luckily, she was available to capture my engagement and wedding in such short timing. Carmen traveled a few hours to our little town to take engagement pictures that totally captured our personalities. My fiancé and I were a bit nervous and felt that awkwardness at first, but with Carmen's fun and bubbly personality, we were comfortable and had a blast with our engagement session. The photos turned out wonderful and in time for me to print and display at my bridal shower and wedding. My husband and I love our wedding photos! There were so many photos and every moment of our special day was captured from getting ready to our first look, ceremony to the reception. Words cannot express how amazing Carmen was at our wedding. She was professional and yet at the same time laughed and joked around with us. She took amazing pictures all while keeping to the schedule that we set before the wedding. On our wedding day we had snow, sunshine, some rain and a really cold wind and Carmen just rolled with it and because of that we got some awesome pictures! At our reception Carmen and her second photographer were walking around, talking pictures of people dancing, the decoration details, our cake, Carmen had everything covered and we didn’t even have to ask her. They even managed to jump into our photo booth and take some funny pictures for us! Our favorite picture of the night was when Carmen told us to run outside and stand in the snow and she got an awesome picture with the snow lit up behind my wife and I as we kissed. I just got my wedding pictures and I am so amazed!!! All of my pictures are very beautiful. The engagement pictures are great too. I really wanted good pictures that I would look through for the rest of my life. The pictures are well worth the money. Carmen and her assistant photographers captured every moment. She was very patient with us on our wedding day. My husband and I had to push back the wedding an hour, because we were not fully prepared. She worked through it and made sure we got the pictures we wanted. She also helped remind us to take the day in, and focus on the true meaning of the moment.

My husband and I got married on 06/13/15 and let me just say that Carmen is absolutely PHENOMENAL!! As soon as she sent me her first e-mail, I knew she was a perfect fit.
