Forget Me Not Flowers

Kathy's work is absolutely beautiful. My wedding flowers were perfect and I wouldn't change a thing. She was easy to work with and her years of experience were a huge help in narrowing down exactly what I wanted in my wedding flowers. I can't thank her enough for her beautiful work!

Kathy is amazing! We got married at the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden, so our original thought was “we don’t need a lot of flowers”. We did contact a few different florist companies to get a quote and a lot of them required a minimum amount to be spent and that amount was just ridiculous (being we didn’t want or need a lot of flowers). We finally stumbled across forget me not flowers and Kathy was like a dream come true. She does not require a minimum and is so polite. A lot of companies will try to persuade you to getting things or adding things to your own ideas to get money but Kathy does not do that. Actually, when I was asking about extra arrangements for my head table, she suggested the bridesmaid bouquets BEING the “centerpieces” for the head table, and that saved me money. She is honest, affordable, gives her opinion when asked and is just very nice. She even met me at a local area for me to pay her and drop off my items to her that way I didn’t need to drive out to her location. She is the best! Our flowers were beautiful and lasted the entire day and stayed fresh looking the next two weeks after too. If you’re looking for a florist, I promise you can’t go wrong by hiring Kathy to do the job for you!

I was so happy with the way our flowers turned out on our wedding day from Forget Me Not Flowers! Kathy brought my vision to life for all of our flower needs. She provided bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids, corsages for our mothers and readers at our ceremony, boutonnieres for the guys, and beautiful greenery to surround our lantern centerpieces! I contacted various florists during the planning process and most of the minimums I received gave me sticker shock (and were outside of my floral budget). That was not the case with Forget Me Not Flowers. I felt that their prices were fair and the quality was there. Kathy arrived on time the day of and was super organized and responsive throughout the entire process. Would highly recommend based on my experience!

The day of my wedding, there were major things that did not look the way I had wanted/had discussed with Kathy. I created a Powerpoint Slideshow for Kathy early in the year, of exactly what I wanted and what I wanted everything to look like. She said it was all doable/ in my budget. The day of my wedding, first thing I was disappointed by were the flowers on my ceremony arch. Second thing I notice is my welcome sign, looks nothing like what I envisioned. When I contacted Kathy after my wedding to say thank you for doing my flowers, where and when I could return her high rise wedding vases, I also raised the question of where she applied my overpayment for my flowers (bc they were not applied where we had previously discussed). In my opinion, she seemed extremely defensive and offended I had asked where my money went. She replied “I’m a bit upset by this with all the extra we did” again, me saying I was happy with my flowers on my wedding day just to be civil and kind even though I was not happy. However, the “extra” she referred to confused me. I didn’t want “extra” things done on my wedding day, I wanted exactly what was previously discussed to be done and exactly what I paid for, no more no less. Things she did “extra” that I did not want/was not discussed: Extra rose petals on the ground at my ceremony (I had purchased my own rose petals and did not need this) Greenery and a rose added to my wedding cake (I wanted a bare minimal cake, no flowers) My wedding arch lacked the greenery I wanted and was overflowed by white roses - was not symmetrical (one side was larger than the other) More flowers added to bridesmaid bouquets (I wanted smaller bouquets to stay minimal and to save $) Welcome sign did not have baby's breath around it (which is what I overpaid for) When Kathy says “she always gives her brides more” this confuses me. Who exactly is paying for the more? I didn’t want more, I wanted exactly what I paid for and exactly what was discussed. If she had “more” to give, then who payed for that? If it was me, I would’ve much rather saved the money and her order the correct amount of flowers? But instead on my wedding day, I was taken back by all these "extra" add ons I never wanted in the first place. I was willing to let these things go even though I wasn’t happy with my flowers. But when I raised the question of why my overpayment for my flowers was not used for baby’s breath for my welcome sign as previously discussed with Kathy, she said she didn’t remember us ever discussing that. When I provided proof of our email correspondence she listed all of the other things she did on my wedding day that I didn’t ask for. It’s extremely frustrating to say you did so much extra for a bride but did not do what was specifically requested. I’m extremely upset that I was treated so poorly after my wedding day. As a client that paid thousands of dollars for FLOWERS and for professional services, I expect and deserve respectful communication even after the sale. I would never recommend her to anyone after my experience.

Kathy was the absolute best vendor as far as communication. I was overwhelmed picking a flower vendor because I feel like all flowers are pretty. I picked Kathy solely because she was the first vendor to reach out and would email back very quickly as well. I had a small Tuesday wedding so I also picked her since there was no minimum on that day. And WOW were my flowers gorgeous!! I was absolutely blown away when she walked in with them. They were exactly as I had imagined, but even prettier in person. Thank you so very much Kathy! I'd pick her 1000 times again. :)

Kathy was amazing. Took her time to talk with me and go through what we wanted for our wedding We got so many compliments at our wedding about how beautiful they were. I have Them drying now so they can be preserved. I loved working with kathy during the entire process. She was so helpful. I would recommend her to anyone Thank you again.

We had Forget Me Not Flowers as the florist for our wedding, and we could not recommend them more! Kathy is incredible! She delivered the flowers to our church and to the reception venue, and she was able to capture our vision perfectly! She was so responsive and answered all our questions so quickly via email. Though we did not meet in person, Kathy took our inspiration pictures and brought them to life – and at such a reasonable price too for a holiday weekend around Prom season, Mother’s Day, and the beginning of wedding season! When my vision for flowers changed throughout the long wedding planning process, she had no trouble updating our profile and quote to accommodate. For someone who knows very little about flowers, I asked her for some recommendations, and she helped us through it all flawlessly! We got so many compliments on all our flowers, and we could not have been happier with them! Thank you, Kathy!!

Kathy did an AMAZING job on my bouquets!! She was one of the best people I worked with in pulling my wedding together. She had so much patience and attentive care when it came to my many questions. I felt so taken care of; and the flowers were BEAUTIFUL.

LOVED LOVED LOVED the floral pieces Kathy created for our wedding. From the small simple cocktail table arrangements to the beautiful floral wreaths around the centerpiece lanterns to my gorgeous bouquet, Kathy is very creative & talented. She is extremely responsive, patient (we had so many questions!) and very knowledgeable. She really had a lot of great advice that we appreciated & used. Kathy was great! she was so responsive and very easy to get a hold of. we had our conversation about my inspo and what I wanted.. she made them perfectly! I got so many compliments on how beautiful they were - people were SHOCKED they were fake. everything was exactly how I had pictured it. when we picked up the flowers. we didn't even notice we left behind a flowergirl bouquet, but Kathy remade them both to ensure they matched and dropped them off to us. very sweet. very affordable. I cant recommend her enough!

Kathy created the most gorgeous flowers for our wedding. She is extremely knowledgeable, responsive and affordable. Despite her affordable prices, she does not shortcut. Our centerpieces were huge, puffy white and light blue hydrangeas, that really made our venue pop. She even created adorable mini centerpieces for the kids’ and vendor table. The bouquets were perfect for our color scheme, and more beautiful than I imagined. We received so many compliments, and I can’t wait to see how they turned out in our pictures!

I can't begin to express how incredible Kathy was for our wedding. She spent endless time making sure everything was absolutely perfect down to each petal. Not one detail was missed. Her arrangements were truly breathtaking and transformed the the entire reception ballroom. My bouquet was so full and at a fantastic price! The amount of compliments we got on the flowers was overwhelming. She combined art, elegance, and beauty. She even helped pin the boutonnieres to all the important men in my life before I walked down the aisle. She made sure I didn't have to worry about anything on my special day. I will definitely be using her again for all my events in the future!

Kathy was so responsive, kind, and helpful throughout the process of planning florals for our wedding. She was very knowledgeable about the types of flowers and greenery that would make my vision come to life, and she gave great advice regarding pricing and availability. She really cared about making my wedding day special -- I was interested in a specific kind of flower for my brother's boutenniere; Kathy said that her vendors do not offer it because it is so delicate but offered to give us some from her family garden -- how incredibly thoughtful! Floral installation on the day-of was seamless from my perspective, which I really appreciated because there was just so much going on that morning. Everything looked beautiful! So happy I chose to hire Forget Me Not Flowers.

Kathy was so amazing to work with. From the very beginning of starting my search for a florist, she was so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable that I immediately stopped looking for anyone else. I showed her what I was going for and she walked me through all of the flowers and options to get an idea of what I wanted and how to keep the budget where I needed it to me. Forget me not flowers did an AMAZING job on my flowers. Without ever even meeting in person, Kathy too my vision and brought it to life! The flowers matched our colors perfectly and the girls LOVED their bouquets. Would definitely recommend her to my friends.

The flowers were absolutely beautiful. Kathy is amazing to work with. I had an idea of what I wanted, she sent me pictures to choose from and nailed it. We also had a mishap where we couldn’t use zip ties at my venue so she calmly handled the situation and was able to get ribbon and make it work. I rented my centerpieces and she was willing to meet me closer to home to return them so I didn’t have to drive an hour away. I highly recommend getting your wedding flowers from here.

Kathy was wonderful to work with for our wedding—she was attentive, easy to communicate with, and brought her floral and design expertise to every conversation we had. When I first started planning, I had NO idea about pretty much any floral details—all I knew was the “look” I wanted for my wedding. Kathy jumped on a phone call with me to walk me through all my options, offer recommendations, and just generally explain how everything works at the beginning of the planning process. She continued to offer me guidance throughout the months leading up to our wedding and was super flexible when I would change my mind/add on floral details. Everything looked so beautiful on our wedding day and Kathy perfectly brought my very vague initial wedding vision to life.

We used this florist for all of our bouquets, corsages, boutonnières, and church decor. All of the flowers were beautiful, and looked great in our photos! They were very easy to communicate with, and they were very flexible with delivery the day of the wedding.

If I could award more than five stars, I would. First of all, the flowers were BEAUTIFUL beyond my expectations. Not only did they provide the flowers, but they rent the vases for the centerpiece out (which, if you are on any facebook buy/sell group, you know that finding enough vases yourself that look perfect is not only expensive, but incredibly difficult - and their prices do not reflect that! Their prices were incredibly reasonable). Therefore, not only does working with this business give you less to worry about yourself, but it results in wedding flowers, centerpieces, and scenes that look like the kind of photos you see scrolling through Pinterest or in wedding magazines. My flowers were honestly the most commented on aspect of my wedding. Secondly: Forget Me Not Flowers and Kathy go above and beyond when it comes to customer service. Kathy read probably 500 emails from me with internet photos and questions (because I seriously know nothing about flowers) and she took the time to show me different options that were possible, explain the flowers, and she helped me get exactly what I wanted and worked within my budget. I also want to mention how professional this business was. I still cannot believe the fact that not all of my vendors were able to act like adults - and I will leave it at that, but Forget Me Not Flowers exceeded expectations. My wedding took place through COVID and had to deal with location changes, which came with order changes, and Kathy made such a difficult process so much easier for me. Not only did she personally deliver and set up my flowers on my wedding day, but she dealt with hiccups and endured the vendors at my location being rude and making her job much harder than was necessary, but she did so with a level of kindness and grace that I didn't know was possible. Overall: Forget Me Not Flowers & Kathy are one of the best vendors I have ever worked with. They do beautiful work, they are invested and knowledgable in their business, their pricing is reasonable and fair, they care about their customers and will work with you through every detail, and they are just generally, incredibly kind and respectable people. I highly recommend choosing them for your wedding and every event thereafter.

Kathy is a wonderful flouriest! She is professional, prompt, and my flowers were absolutely STUNNING! I wanted to take a different approach when it came to my Bridal Bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres and Kathy was able to work with me to get all the flowers I needed and gave me exactly what I wanted. Forget Me Not Flowers did a great job! They were easy to work with and I was so pleased with the end result. Even though I was not able to meet with her in person, due to COVID 19 Kathy worked with me over email to create the perfect arrangements. She accurately quoted prices of everything as we went which helped me stay on top of my budget. And she was willing to be flexible and work with our wedding plans, which had to keep changing. I specifically wanted fresh flowers, and the flowers we received were fresh and in perfect shape. Overall a great experience!

Kathy was incredible to work with. She met with me and knew so many details about different flowers. She got my vision down exactly and told me about a deep burgundy rose that I did not even know existed. Her pricing was so fair compared to other florists and the work was fantastic. I would work with Kathy any time I needed floral arrangements in the future. I don't have many photos back yet, but I attached 2 I do have of bouquets. I was able to get all my bouquets, boutonnieres, aisle decor, altar decor, and corsages for a very reasonable cost.
