I was an out of state bride and he was incredible at squeezing me in during my short, weekend trips home. Highly recommend!

gs more budget friendly. Eldon even brought the flowers to the church himself, showed my girls and I the best way to hold our flowers, and pinned them on the groomsmen/father's suits. FGMF also did the centerpieces for my reception and they were beautiful! Without being asked (or charging extra) they added some additional touches to really put them over the edge and make them perfect!

uet in June and my bridesmaids got hydrangeas and orchids. We met over 4 times in a 10 month time span. Everything was just so organized and I was very happy with the end result! Eldon is the best!

, even if you decide on some great ideas in the initial visit before finalzing dresses! I had no idea what I wanted when I went in, so I guess what I got was a product of that... I will say that I love what he ended up doing with my bridal bouquet! It was gorgeous. The bridesmaids were supposed to have rounds, but ended up with cascades the day of, which was actually a pleasant surprise b/c they were gorgeous as well. :) Boutineers were nice and my mom loved her coursage. The toss bouquet was obviously something he forgot until probably the day of, as it was supposed to be similar to mine/bridesmaids full bouquets only smaller, but ended up being about 5 flowers tied together at the stems with a bow. I was actually embarrased to display/throw it, but ya know, who cares in the end I guess. The flower arrangements I wanted for the altar were supposed to flow down the columns on which they sat, but ended up just being large arrangements that sat on top of the pillars. They were ok and I'm sure they will look nice in photos...I had planned on taking them to the reception after the ceremony, but I ended up just leaving them at the church since they weren't quite what I'd pictured. All in all, with the very little communication Eldon and I had, things turned out pretty well. I assumed the job he did would be outstanding and utterly perfect due to his reputation and pricing, and I'd say I got about 85% of what I expected. I do recommend them, and I would make sure you control the # of times you meet (more is better though his team sort of discourages more times than the 'usual' bride takes, i.e. 2), be sure there is a very clear outline of what you want down on paper, and show him pictures of what you like. I think if we'd been sitting in front of the photos I based my description on instead of talking about it on the phone, I may have gotten more of what I envisioned. I will add this...I was blown away by an arrangement Eldon came up with for a family funeral the week prior to the wedding--he is very creative!! He also did a very nice job of advising me during the wedding planning, about how the light in my ceremony venue would change what flowers stood out in my bouquet, etc. I wouldn't trust anyone else with those details and couldn't have expected anyone to give me that education since you don't know what you don't know. :) My experience was a positive one, and Eldon and his team are very talented, so check them out!

udget. the flowers were perfect the day of, right down to the precious ring bearer's bout. I had no problems with Forget Me Not and they were so willing to change and adapt to my crazy wedding planning

th Eldon, I had a crystal clear picture of what I wanted my flowers to be and how they would look. It was clear that Eldon has done hundreds of weddings because he thought of everything and gently led me through this unknown floral world. I had the flowers delivered to my church and also rented vases for the reception. I can not express how perfect my flowers were. They were exactly what we discussed and really made the wedding. I think my bouquet ended up one of my favorite aspects of the wedding, even though I never would have thought so. With flowers for all the attendants, ushers, grandparents, parents, servers and three altar arrangements, along with the vase rentals, we spent less than $950 including tax. Everyone was friendly and talented. I would highly recommend them to any bride looking for an experienced florist who is very talented.

in lieu of some unfortunate circumstances weren't an issue for them. They're very personable and want to make your day as special to you and others as possible. They deliver and with that were very helpful in pinning on boutonnieres/corsages and in how to hold, set and store the bouquets. I recommend them to everyone in central Illinois.
