Forget Me Not Flowers

Eldon and his staff were amazing and did a wonderful job of interpreting my ideas when I wasn't so good at explaining them! I splurged a bit on the flowers, but it was worth every penny and I got tons on compliments on my bouquet. We still get all our arrangements from them!

The owner of this shop is an artist. He creates beautiful bouquets and has a vision that is beyond my imagination. However, they were rude and difficult to work with. Their flowers are outlandishly expensive, so we only used them for bouquets and boutonnieres. You'll be happy with your flowers, but the all-around experience was not all that pleasant.

I had went to 3 florists before I made my decision to go with Eldon. He was very professional and was full of knowledge on how to properly hold the bouquet, etc. The pricing was a lot less compared to the other florists. I got a full peony bouquet in June and my bridesmaids got hydrangeas and orchids. We met over 4 times in a 10 month time span. Everything was just so organized and I was very happy with the end result! Eldon is the best!

The most beautiful flowers! Eldon gave us all the time we needed with our 2 initial consultations and had fantastic suggestions for our colorful bouquets. We received so many compliments on the flowers. He is an artist!

I absolutely loved working with the staff at Forget Me Not Flowers. They made sticking to a tight budget easy with listening to what my husband and I wanted for the ceremony and reception. I loved my flowers and they really added to the feel of the day. We had the flowers for 12 hours, and not one wilted because of the hidden water reserves. They were perfect for our day.

My experience with Eldon was good. He helped me narrow down what I wanted, and from experience of doing the opposite ;), I would trust him when he says "please choose your bridesmaids' dresses and colors first"...that definitely changes things, even if you decide on some great ideas in the initial visit before finalzing dresses! I had no idea what I wanted when I went in, so I guess what I got was a product of that... I will say that I love what he ended up doing with my bridal bouquet! It was gorgeous. The bridesmaids were supposed to have rounds, but ended up with cascades the day of, which was actually a pleasant surprise b/c they were gorgeous as well. :) Boutineers were nice and my mom loved her coursage. The toss bouquet was obviously something he forgot until probably the day of, as it was supposed to be similar to mine/bridesmaids full bouquets only smaller, but ended up being about 5 flowers tied together at the stems with a bow. I was actually embarrased to display/throw it, but ya know, who cares in the end I guess. The flower arrangements I wanted for the altar were supposed to flow down the columns on which they sat, but ended up just being large arrangements that sat on top of the pillars. They were ok and I'm sure they will look nice in photos...I had planned on taking them to the reception after the ceremony, but I ended up just leaving them at the church since they weren't quite what I'd pictured. All in all, with the very little communication Eldon and I had, things turned out pretty well. I assumed the job he did would be outstanding and utterly perfect due to his reputation and pricing, and I'd say I got about 85% of what I expected. I do recommend them, and I would make sure you control the # of times you meet (more is better though his team sort of discourages more times than the 'usual' bride takes, i.e. 2), be sure there is a very clear outline of what you want down on paper, and show him pictures of what you like. I think if we'd been sitting in front of the photos I based my description on instead of talking about it on the phone, I may have gotten more of what I envisioned. I will add this...I was blown away by an arrangement Eldon came up with for a family funeral the week prior to the wedding--he is very creative!! He also did a very nice job of advising me during the wedding planning, about how the light in my ceremony venue would change what flowers stood out in my bouquet, etc. I wouldn't trust anyone else with those details and couldn't have expected anyone to give me that education since you don't know what you don't know. :) My experience was a positive one, and Eldon and his team are very talented, so check them out!

Eldon was a visionary, he literally took what I wanted and made it into reality!! He did a fantastic job on my wedding and it couldn't have been anymore perfect! I absolutely LOVED my bouquet, as well as all the rest of the flower work he did at my wedding! Thanks Eldon!

Eldon and his wife definitely know what they are doing in terms of flowers. Their ideas are great and look beautiful. They took my vision, tweaked it just a little and made my wedding GORGEOUS!

Eldon, Jane, and the whole staff at Forget Me Not Flowers were wonderful and easy to work with. I had 2 meetings prior to the wedding and explained my vision and wishes and Eldon created a fabulous plan. The flower arrangements and bouquet were more beautiful than I imagined.

Forget Me Not really tries to get to know you and your wedding on an individual level before planning out flowers with you. I did not have huge dreams for my flowers but Eldon helped to form the flowers to the rest of my wedding as well as my budget. the flowers were perfect the day of, right down to the precious ring bearer's bout. I had no problems with Forget Me Not and they were so willing to change and adapt to my crazy wedding planning

I worked with Eldon (the owner) and his wife. They were very easy to work with and everything turned out PERFECT. I do not know anything about flowers and only had a fuzzy idea of what I wanted but by the time I was done with my meetings with Eldon, I had a crystal clear picture of what I wanted my flowers to be and how they would look. It was clear that Eldon has done hundreds of weddings because he thought of everything and gently led me through this unknown floral world. I had the flowers delivered to my church and also rented vases for the reception. I can not express how perfect my flowers were. They were exactly what we discussed and really made the wedding. I think my bouquet ended up one of my favorite aspects of the wedding, even though I never would have thought so. With flowers for all the attendants, ushers, grandparents, parents, servers and three altar arrangements, along with the vase rentals, we spent less than $950 including tax. Everyone was friendly and talented. I would highly recommend them to any bride looking for an experienced florist who is very talented.

Eldon executed my vision PERFECTLY! We used the words modern and classy when planning, and those were the exact words people were saying the night of! From the church to the centerpieces at the reception and the BOUQUETS, everything was beyond my expectations. Forget me Not did a wonderful job working with us and executing exactly what we wanted :)

Eldon does an amazing job! He asks a lot of questions to really get the feel, look, and idea you are wanting. When I walked into the church and the reception site, it was absolutely breathtaking. It looked better than what I pictured it would-which I could not believe! I highly recommend using this vendor

Eldon was wonderful to work with and did an amazing job creating the look, and the flowers, that I wanted. The flowers turned out beautiful and I will use Forget Me Not again if I ever need flowers for a special occasion.

I had no idea what I wanted for flowers - I just knew I wanted them to be alive, pretty and red. Eldon did an amazing job helping me pick out my flowers. He took time to meet with me twice (2 hours each time) to go over all the details so that I was satisfied and happy with my flowers on our wedding day. They were beautiful and the perfect touch for the big day.

Eldon and his team did a great job from the first appointment all the way to the wedding day! My flowers were perfect and it added and extra touch of love. They take the time to listen and deliver exactly what you want. They also stick around the day of the wedding to make sure all of the BMs know how to carry the flowers and care for them the day of!

We went to three different florists altogether in the Bloomington/Normal area and were most impressed with Forget Me Not Flowers. They knew what they were doing, and were very helpful for us in picking out what we wanted. Last minute changes in lieu of some unfortunate circumstances weren't an issue for them. They're very personable and want to make your day as special to you and others as possible. They deliver and with that were very helpful in pinning on boutonnieres/corsages and in how to hold, set and store the bouquets. I recommend them to everyone in central Illinois.
