d been to a few shops before this one, and could not find what I wanted. I finally went to this shop and Bella was so helpful and patient and I found my beautiful dress and veil! Picking up my dress once it came in was easy and quick too

d the dress on at home at it fit wonderfully however, recently trying the dress on seemed as if the train was smaller than when I tried on the dress in the store. I initially was speaking to one of her employees and asked if the wrong dress was ordered. The employee explained that you can only order one type dress (no accommodations). I asked if I could come to the store and compare dresses and cathy got on the phone. C-A-T-H-Y Butler, owner of 42 year old family business, made sure to spell her name out correctly when I asked for her name and that she is the owner of Formally Yours. And described herself and included that she was white in her description. My issue with Cathy is that I had questions and wanted to verify that it was the same dress however, her tone, arrogance and condescending attitude over the phone was distasteful. After she gave me her background information and family history she finally told me that the model dress in store had been sold. She could have respectfully told me this in the beginning with less of an argumentative tone. I feel hurt, upset and disrespected when I should have been talked to like a normal human being with respect and kindness, especially when spending money in her family business. This has been a memorable despicable experience and I will make sure to tell others.

budget. I was also told at that store that the style I wanted was trendy so they didn’t have many like that. I came to formally yours and I told my stylist this and she assured me that they have many dresses in that style! She pulled about 8 dresses initially and some additional to make sure we knew what I wanted. After debating between two, she put a veil on me and the owner gave me a bouquet to get the full picture (something that wasn’t offered at the other store). I’m not a crier but it gave me chills! They gave us champagne and even let us stick around after to look at some mother of the bride dresses. Overall great experience!

any luck. Cathy picked out a handful of dresses based on my likes and price range. I found my dress on the second pick. It was exactly what I was looking for! Didn’t think I would get emotional when I found THE dress but it was just so perfect for me. 10/10 recommend this place for all your bridal needs!

arlett, they made the process SO easy and extremely fulfilling. I had an idea of what I wanted, they hand selected two dresses, tried them on and loved both! From there, Cathy brought me a dress that was new and perfectly the two dresses combined into one. My jaw fell to the floor and sure enough I had that bridal moment. Tears, chills, and shrieks! I fell in love with it immediately and every day since. I couldn’t not have loved my dress more and Cathy and Scarlett could not have been more helpful in the process! So comfortable, relatable, and the entire appointment was ENJOYABLE! 10/10 experience. Would do it all again if I could ❣️

as very nice and didn't make me feel pressured to choose a dress (I had a bit of a hard time deciding which one was right and had to try on the same dress more than once). She was easy to get along with and very encouraging. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I told her my price range and we definitely went above it. And by the time I found the perfect dress, I was very much in love with it when she finally told me the price at the end, and ended up having to pay more than I initially wanted. Still very happy with it, just wished I knew what I was getting into!

utely terrible. The most TERRIBLE experience that I can’t even sleep at night because I’m so stressed. I had my appointment back in March 2021. I was my heaviest and told them I’d be losing weight with my doctor, not on my free will because of health issues. During the appointment, the owner was bringing dresses that wasn’t what I explained at all. I had to go through the dresses myself to find 2 that I loved. One I fell in love with on the hanger was discontinued, the other was my second choice. I got the dress that day and tried on a size 16, which didn’t zip all the way. She owner took my measurements and told me she would size up but I said I’m losing weight and my wedding isn’t until October 2022. I felt extremely rushed through my whole appointment, I didn’t get the champagne toast, and she gave me my whole total at checkout when their policy is 65% down. Fast forward to September 2021. I’m 25 pounds down and my dress is in. I also work at a bridal shop and know that when a bride tells me she’s losing weight, we do size down. I call the shop and they tell me “we agree on size when you first order, we do not reorder sizes, that’s our policy.” NO ONE told me this the day I bought my dress. When I tried my dress on, the waist fit but my boob area is extremely big. I also said I’d pay the remaining balance a few days later (when I get paid) and after trying my dress on, the owner tells me about my remaining balance, even when I said I’d come back to pick up and pay a couple days later. I felt the whole time they wanted to prove me wrong about the size, I felt humiliated. It’s been 4 months since I picked up my dress and I’m still upset and it’s something that keeps me up at night being 9 months away from my wedding. Now I’m going to have to pay for alterations to make it a completely different size and possibly pay close to the amount I paid for my wedding dress in alterations. I work in a bridal shop and from my terrible experience, I make sure that each bride I work with never feels the way I felt.

really nice. I had Taylor as my consultant and she was WONDERFUL. She listed to what I had in mind and picked dresses that were right along my alley. She listened to my feedback for each dress and adjusted the next dresses accordingly and was so supportive. I also love that when I was indecisive about certain dress styles she steered me back to the style I really liked. All the staff was really nice and supportive and you could tell they really cared about you looking amazing on your day. Highly Recommend!

a totally different gown, which might as well have been made for me! My consultant was Trista, and she was amazing! She was very sweet, energetic, and positive. She listened to what I wanted, gave her honest and gracious opinions, and she found my perfect dress. I felt stunning in it on my wedding day, and I received so many compliments! My mom also bought her MOB dress here. Give them a try, and ask for Trista!

day and they didn't care if I tried on 20 dresses. Trista was personal attendant, encouraging me and telling me how great I looked. Very important--there was no pressure on me to buy. I did settle on one favorite gown and it was ordered. I am looking forward to the delivery in a couple of weeks.

ous about finding a dress. Within minutes of walking through the door, my fears disappeared. Cathy picked out several dresses for me - each was better than the next. I had finally narrowed it down when she brought out one last one and that was it! To top things off, we also found my bridesmaids dresses and my mother’s dress. Total success!! The dresses arrived well in advance of the wedding (thank you, Scarlett), more than enough time for alterations. I cannot say enough about Formally Yours… They are AMAZING!
